Pazzia was an excellent find whilst spending a few nights at nearby Pennyhill hotel and spa. Our first experience was so good that we immediately returned for dinner the following night. The food is well presented, tasty, and portioned heartily at a very reasonable price point, however what really makes the place is the exceptionally warm and charismatic staff, who clearly take absolute pride in everything they do. (Apologies if names are not quite right*) James-Franco, Yassic, and the team all deserve a huge shout out here. When we dined there it was clear that both locals and visitors come back time and time again. Again, I cannot rate the service more highly, as the staff went the extra mile for off menu tweaks to the food, remembered our preferences, and were such fun to be around. The food itself was cooked perfectly to request, and seemed to be of very high quality. I’m partly not wanting to write such a good review, as I want to be able to get a table booked easily on hopefully many returns in the future!

Always have a great experience here, the food is always incredible and staff are brilliant. True Italian hospitality at its finest! The prices have increased but then so has everything else. Calzone is amazing and would recommend!

A wonderful evening with family, the staff were very attentive, the food was delicious and the service was very efficient. Plenty of choice on the menu. Highly recommend a visit to this lovely gem in beautiful Berkshire.

Excessive increase in prices on their menu. It used to be £14 for an American Hot now it’s £18!! This is not “inflation” this is excessive. I’m very sad to say we will not be returning with these new prices.

I would love to give this restaurant a 5 star as it is simply wonderful. Food. Ambience. Service. All excellent. My only point that let our experience down was that a Coca Cola is by the tap & is not a fresh bottle. Which is what you would expect at this calibre of restaurant. Essentially the soft drinks didn’t match the quality of the food. Which was disappointing. Will surely be back again. Regardless. Many thanks!

Had a table booked for 8 pm and didn't get seated till 9.15pm and was still waiting for food at 10.55pm, absolutely appalling service. Had to really be pushy to get seated, because they wanted us to eat outside even tough we'd booked (outside was really smokey) Had bad upset stomach the next day( early am) after the food. Also had to be forceful to get anything off bill. Would not go back or recommend.

Had a fantastic meal here, very fresh and lovely portion sizes. Rioja wine was amazing, and lobster spaghetti was just ridiculously yummy! The only bit of feedback would be regarding the price! Make sure to ask before ordering the special of lobster spaghetti.... we were pretty shocked that it was £70!! If we knew it was that much we wouldn't of ordered it but I really enjoyed it. Tiramisu was also very good!. Will come again.

If you're looking for a restaurant to celebrate a family reunion and review for some pointers, be sure to read my experience at this restaurant yesterday. Three of us came to this restaurant at noon yesterday, 2 adults and 1 child. Initially, 1 waiter and 1 head waiter (or manager) were polite, but when ordering, when I ordered a cup of hot water (because my stomach was uncomfortable), the waiter who served us suddenly became unhappy, and The head waiter said loudly that I ordered a cup of hot water, and when delivering the plate, he threw it at my table rudely with one hand as if shaking it. It doesn't matter, because it's a trivial matter. As a family who has always had requirements on their own morality and behavior, there is no problem. The focus is on the following: We were dumbfounded when our food was ready and brought us: 1 steak, 2 large plates of garlic bread each, a basket of potato chips, 3 small plates of vegetables, 2 drinks , and a 12-inch pizza. We were just 2 adults and 1 kid! I was surprised, but asked him calmly, was the food delivered right? Apparently the bread and pizza was enough for 7 adults! And we didn't order the two big plates with 5 slices of garlic bread each. The waiter responded that my son ordered it, I asked him why he didn't confirm with me? Because he only confirmed other orders with me, but not the two plates of bread. He was very impolite and said very loudly: I confirmed with your son! I said: My son is only nine years old, you confirm the order with a child but not with an adult? The waiter knew that there was a problem with his work procedure, but he shifted the focus very cunningly, and in an extremely impolite way, he said: In fact, we do not allow children to order. I pay attention to facts and rules, so I asked my son, what did you order? My son replied that he just ordered a slice of garlic bread like he had at other restaurants. When the waiter checked the order with me, he only checked half of it and did not continue to check. Maybe he found that the order was a bit too much. His choice was not to confirm the order, but to send it all up, and then put the responsibility on us—my son. . At this moment, the waiter's irascibility completely broke out—fortunately, there were only three of us in the entire restaurant at noon. He yelled and complained and walked away. No one came to apologize for this, we would have loved to have had any of the waiters come and talk to us in a friendly manner and it would have passed and we wouldn't have minded, but no one came. As for our family, we remind each other, please keep a good mood, after all, the food is here. But there is no doubt that this restaurant has brought us an unprecedented bad experience, like a nightmare. Although he removed a plate of bread at the checkout, I guess my son's mind will be haunted for days by the extremely unprofessional and extremely rude waiter who yelled at us before the meal 😂

Excellent food, wide variety of traditional Italian meals. Unfortunately was let down by live music that was being blasted across the restaurant. Not ideal atmosphere for a romantic evening.

Restaurant is in a beautiful area, very nice inside. This place just needs more options on the menu and seasoning on the food as food tastes too bland. If more ingredients are used this place will be very popular.

Below average food not close to anything italian . Pizza was like one from dominos , cold food , no one came to attend for 20 mins after we sat on the table. Will never go back

Expensive but fabulous food and service

Stayed in a local hotel and tried here for our evening meal, one word... Amazing ! The food is all freshly made, and we wanted something specific for our youngest son which wasn't on the menu... They happily made it for us. Will visit again next time I'm in the area Authentic Italian food made with passion in a lovely environment.

Very good food, mains are the best. Sirloin steak was superb. Also the rack of lamb, all perfectly cooked to the requirement. Atmosphere typically Italian, noisy and busy as you'd expect but in a good authentic way. House wine was good, bit pricey but then everything is now due to inflation etc.

Very cozy pizzeria, good portions, lovely fresh authentic flavours and lovely staff. I would be very happy to go back to this place.

Booked for my sons 22nd birthday. Booking was made electronically via the website where I requested a cake for my sons celebration. No cake was provided. Was given a booth next to the toilets which I was disappointed with given I had told them it was for a birthday celebration. The food was excellent although on the pricey side. Service was good given they were busy. However it was extremely noisy. Music was very very loud and the customers in the booths near us were extremely loud probably as a result of the music. I think this venue has to decide if it is restaurant or a bar with music.

Comprehensive menu and attentive service. Calamari and Penne arrabiata were perfect. Garlic bread with cheese went down a treat (pizza style and easy sharing). The Tiramisu is also recommended and a decent portion for 3 to share. Highly recommended and we will visit again.

Seen a few bad reviews but I can say it's never been the case. We are regulars and they are all regulars. Recently had their sirloin on the bone. I've been lucky enough to dine at some very nice places and I have to say, this is one of the best meals I've ever had. Best pizzas in town, hands down. Usually get a takeaway but have eaten in and it's always been a good experience. Oh and have I mentioned that the pizzas are amazing?

Incredibly bad service. Waited 1.5 hours fir a pizza, the waiter just kept topping up my friends glass with wine and excuses of it being burnt and starting again etc. This was whilst heaps of takeaways were seen going out the door. We went to leave 3 or 4 times with false promises and given a further drink as a sorry. 2 starters, 2 pizzas and side with a couple of paid for drinks over 72.00 and no discount for the poor treatment. Even told it was a bad night as others complaining. They took on too many customers and could not cope. Poor experience and will never go back after the rudeness of the waiting staff

Absolutely delightful place to dine, friendly stuff and fabulous food. I had a delicious prawn and Mussels which they explended fresh and delicious flavours.

Professional service with a smile

Food was nice and very nicely done but everything else was disappointing expirience. They put additional table in front of the bar and seated us there. Everytime waitress came to collect something from the bar, would lean over my friends heads. I wouldn't mind, if the restaurant was fully booked or we showed up without a reservation but with 2/3 or less of restaurant capacity it is not pleasant to be seaten in everybody's way. It was very noisy and they still played music in the background so we couldn't hear each other properly. I ordered a fish and was told I have to add additional side because I fish comes with 2-3 asparagus. Looking through the sides, I chose courgettes/green beans 3.25£. That's how it is written on the menu. You would expect to be mixed or at least that waitress said to me, I should choose one. But not, I was charged twice for it. Service was the worst one that I have expirienced recently and we were charged for that. They haven't deserved a penny for the service provided. During our two hours of being there, we had 4-5 people serving us individualy. 2 of them (which is according this statistic 50% 😳) were rude to us. First time it happened when I asked politely (after walking away and doing something else) if I could get the rest of my order, because I got only a fish, no vegetables.Waitress said: "I have only two hands" Second time, another waitress was collecting our plates so my friends used an opportunity to ask for dessert menus. "Give me some time, I can't do it now, can I?" When the bill arrived we were charged 7.75£ for the service 🙄 We paid it but they haven't deserved it at all. I can understand now why they were so rude, with the tip already included.

This must be one of the most difficult reviews to write as I am not sure in which order I should compliment the food or the staff or the atmosphere or the service provided. The charisma of the staff is second to none, they engaged and entertained the children, the food was delicious just as if I was in Italy if not better actually! It definitely reminded me of all the best restaurants I have been to around the Mediterranean and I would recommend to anyone. The breads were served warm with a delicious tapenade/pesto, the calamari was made of the squid rings from proper squid, the antipasto prawns butterflied were fabulously delicious. The pizzas were amazing, tasty, fresh with really high quality ingredients, the grilled filet steak was softer than warm butter. Delicious desserts, the espresso is as it should and deserves be called an espresso. Thank you so much for last night's dinner to all of the staff.

Had a fantastic meal here, chosen (Dover) solely from the specials menu, all the food was divine. I'm told all the cocktails are fantastic, though I only had a negroni myself - it was made excellently. Possibly the most memorable part of the experience were the staff, who are all lively, funny characters looking to make your visit as enjoyable as possible (and maybe upsell the drinks a bit)

Really enjoyable pizza and pasta. Easy takeaway service during lockdowns ordered and paid online. A good selection of Italian food to suit all tastes.

Fantastic old school Italian with little twists, great decor and wine list to die for. Pricing realistic and also very clean. Visted on 2nd September 20. We were made very welcome and our two boys were made a bit of a fuss of also.

Fantastic food and service. I am Portuguese and there was a Portuguese waiter that knew exactly how I wanted my grilled sardines. We also had calves' liver, lobster, veal and prawns, cheesecake and cheese, etc, all of which were perfect. My friends live in ascot and I know from them, they've never had a less than perfect meal there.
