Best steak I’ve had in a while, absolutely amazing! The staff were great, we had a few issues getting there that evening but they were very accommodating and understanding! I definitely recommended this place 10/10.

Fantastic meal and a lovely atmosphere

My husband and I always love coming here. It always feels special when we come here for date night. The owner, a lovely guy always comes over to check on us and say hello. This visit was probably the best steak I have had there. I chose a really lovely Italian rose to have with it and tomato salad and whole garlic bulb. My husband had steak and Caesar salad, which he also raved about. This is definitely the nicest place to eat in Windsor and always feels super special. Thanks for a lovely evening, once again x

My other half and I visited Meat at the Parish last night for the first time for a date night and time out from being mum and dad! We don't often get the time anymore to try different restaurants and when we do, we have an unfortunate habit of going to the same ones because it's an easy choice when we need to find somewhere quickly if we are able to get childcare for an evening. We walked past Meat at the Parish many times and have always wanted to go - finally we booked a table and we are so glad we did. The atmosphere was warm and lively and we didn't feel rushed to order or leave at any point. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable about the food and we felt at home. The food was incredible- we ordered oysters which were classically served and very fresh. The meat was the highlight of our meal (and year!)- the produce was exceptional and I can't remember the last time we have both been speaking about a dining experience so much after as we have this weekend. We have visited many high end restaurants in various parts of the world and I have to say the grass fed beef at Meat at the Parish was one of the best we had (including the cooking of it). So happy we went and will be back in a heartbeat. Can't recommend enough.

The food at meat at the Parish was superb. The owner and his wife were wonderful hosts. The staff was friendly extremely helpful. I recommend you try this restaurant you certainly won’t be disappointed

Great dinning with perfect sides !! Strongly recommend the onion battered & pork ribs !! As a main dish I had the ribeye at medium-rare and it was very tastefull. Also options of beverages with a wine selection, cocktail, and beer. Well located.

Really great find in the centre of Windsor. The cocktail menu made me wish I hadn’t been driving the night we visited - so many I’d like to try. The food was really great - lovely steak with an option of sizes available. Very nice staff too.

We called by late one evening in a large group with about half of us wanting to eat the other just wanting drinks. The staff were very welcoming and arranged a table for us quickly. The food was really good - beef dripping chips and the fried onion were both favourites. Good choice of drinks as well.

Really nice meal on Wednesday night whilst in Windsor. We had Mixed Breads, Onion Bloomer with Beef Burgers and Pinot Grigio. Good Value for Windsor, the Steak fridge looked interesting too.

We had a lovely dinner at Meat At The Parish. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and efficient.. And the cocktails were lovely. An enjoyable experience, certain to be repeated.

Overpriced for the end result, Not cooked how we wanted it and not sure they know how to cook a good steak. Sear the outside with the middle how you want it......not in this place.

My favourite spot in Windsor. A gem situated opposite the castle. If you’re a foodie. You’ll love this place. Atmosphere is always excellent as is service and most importantly the food is impeccable. Will be back soon.

Great beef served with proper grilling. The side menu was simple but very delicious. I even went back to eat there the day after my first visit.

The waiter who served us was very patient... and very kind. Great assett to this place as there were quite a lot of us and noisy Americans too lol

We dined here as a group of 7 for a family celebration and we were blown away by the quality of the food and the service. My husband and I shared a Chateaubriand as did my Aunt and Uncle and we all said that it was probably one of the best steaks we have ever eaten. Others at the table had fillet steaks and the salmon dish and there were no complaints there either! For starters we had the onion bloomer which was delicious. There is a great drinks selection here also - lots of cocktails and wines to choose from. Finally, the service... Sylvia was our waitress and she was outstanding! She was so friendly, funny and courteous. We were there to celebrate my Dad and even though he didn't choose a dessert she made sure he was still celebrated by bringing out a firework for him - I wish waiting staff in every restaurant I went to were like Sylvia! 10/10 would recommend Meat at the Parish to anyone looking for a great meal in Windsor.

Food - excellent 👌 Amazing place

This is a highly recommend place for meat eaters and fine dining at Windsor. Quite close to the castle as a walk. Ambience is good and well maintained. We ordered steaks, lamb, seafood and couple of starters. This was paired with red wine. Every meal was delicious and well presented. Service was also very good and prompt, overall loved the experience and highly recommend a visit for a date night or outing with office colleagues. Definitely recommend the crème bulee for dessert.

Food and service were top notch. We came in late and the staff were able to accomadate us.

What a Beautiful place. Food was some of the best we have ever had. Louis was very knowledgeable on the menu recommending us the popular dishes as well as being very attentive. We cannot wait for our return.

Lovely looking, well presented restaurant but the service let it down - not sure if they were understaffed but would expect someone to occasionally glance over the tables to see if a customer needed anything, like ordering food for example… 40mins wait to order (and then only because they were called over) is excessive. Food was disappointingly mediocre. I had thought it would be along the lines of an affordable Hawksmoor from the menu and ambience. Aside from one member of staff, a tall chap, who seemed polite and friendly, the rest were not and in particular Sylwia, could do with retraining and appreciating the value of customers to a business. Very disappointed overall and will not recommend.

Great food, good service. Steaks were superb. The only thing which let this place down was the dreadful sound quality of the background music. It sounded as if it was coming from somebodies old phone speaker, bit irritating but as soon as the food was served I barely noticed it.

Our first time to eat at Meat at the parish. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, sad to say the waitor, who appeared to know the couple sat behind me, was using very foul language. Not very professional!

Had a lovely meal, we chose the château briand off of the board went for 530g between 2. It was amazing 🤩 we had it with creamed mushrooms fried courgette and beef dripping chips everything we ate was delicious. The service was great and the place was so clean the glasses were sparkling. Would highly recommend this restaurant, it’s not cheap but you get what you pay for!

Having walked around Windsor and decided to dine here this evening . Great looking venue Excited about the aged steak Decided to splash out on the ‘ sharer size 670g ‘ porterhouse, only to be served a t bone steak I could have had in spoons do 12 quid. The food was nice but 3 steaks and 6 beers @167 plus a 21 service charge was in just ……….. I’m that Hungary we have come to spoons for meal. The mash potato was great However after two teaspoons it was gone. To quote my good friend there can’t of been one Maris piper in that!’ I feel I have been taken advantage of Disappointed

If you're looking for the best food and service in Windsor, you've come to the right place. I would highly recommend starting the night with a Negroni, ordering multiple sides and a steak option from the chalk board to share between 2-3 people. I hope I don't have to remind you to order a bottle of wine to wash down the delectable steak. It's a family run business that has a faultless reputation. Looked for a good restaurant for a friends 50th and was recommended by other friends. The menu is compact, but everything our party ate was spot on. An amazing choice of quality steaks, and the price reflects the quality. Made a joke saying that it's the worst vegan restaurant. To sum up: Friendly welcome, family run, quality dishes. Would I recommend - Yes Would I go again ? - Yes

What a disaster, the onion bloomer , the courgettes and the chips were so oversalted, there were a lot of rock salt crystals visible all over these foods. presentation of the burger was very slapdash. There was service as such the food was served and then no one came until we had finished. When we did complain and said we would not pay for the courgettes and no service charge to be added to the bill, the staff just did that and said nothing. No manager came to speak to us at all.

Ordered a porter house only to wait well over 30 mins for it to be only just warm and mediocre due to shift change. Unless you enjoy listening to a drunk owner moaning about staff issues save your money and go elsewhere.

Wow, visited for the first time on Saturday. All of the dishes where excellent and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend the lamb. Would not hesitate to come back and highly recommend.

It was an evening of note! Everything was superb, and I mean everything! From the quality of the food, to the attention to detail in the service, its a grand opus! Daniel and Charlie were our significant hosts but Jessie also played her part in the experience. We celebrated a birthday and it was impeccable, ordering a number of dishes and having it all served perfectly, impeccably and delicious. If you haven't been go! If you have been go again!

Absolutely LOVE this place! Arguably one of the best steakhouses I’ve been to and believe me I’ve been to a lot… friendly and attentive staff. Family run which is a lovely touch. If you haven’t been here, you really should.

The food was very good, I ordered a ribeye steak and asked for it to be cooked medium to well done, slightly more well done than medium but it was more medium than well done, it was was still good but I can't give 5 stars because it wasn't cooked to my preference. The service, although attentive and polite, was extremely shoddy, we were served by 3 or 4 different people and they didn't seem to have spoken to each other, our orders were taken but they forgot to tell up they'd run out of certain items we'd ordered, both on our starters and our main courses, they offered to give us a free starter but when the bill came they hadn't removed the original starter which we didn't get because they'd run out. The chairs were comfortable but we were sat at a small table which would probably have been better suited for 2 people not 4, considering that we are 4 big blokes table choice was poor but they were busy. On the whole not a good visit but the redeeming point was the food itself, I would be inclined to go back and give them a second chance, maybe the staff were having a bad day, hence the shoddy service and running out of food, I had heard good things prior to my visit.

Coming from south Africa the meat could have been a bit better, the Rump was a little small, nevertheless the girl that served us was AMAZING so atmosphere and service a perfect 10/10 - then the setting of the restaurant right next to Windsor Castle was just as great Will def come back, well done Team well done

My boss is over from the US. Has been staying in Windsor and kept passing this restaurant. So glad he wanted to try it as the food and service were excellent. The bloomin onion and fillet steak were delicious and all the servers were extremely friendly. Would recommend in a heart beat and can't wait to return again in the future!

A perfect spot on the high street with a varied menu. The team were really welcoming and helped with advice when selecting from the menu. The best fillet steak we have had in a long time. Please pass on our thanks to the team behind the scenes as they deserve recognition, as much as those front of house. A brilliant meal cooked to perfection. If in Windsor, you really should make a reservation.

I am really not one to give bad review lightly as I run a business myself and I know how harsh / petty some people can be HOWEVER.... I have never in my 25 years of existence had such shocking customer service, let alone in a restaurant, I'm talking customer service in general. It was my fathers birthday and he ordered a steak. Firstly we were told by a young waiter with serious attitude problems that one dish wasn't available that two of us had ordered and so 'one of us would have to order something else unless we (me and my mother) wanted to go for a scrap outside for the fish'. An unbelievable thing to say to a customer. An incorrect meal was served to my father and we politely told the same young waiter that this wasn't what we ordered. He grunted back 'That is what you ordered Ive got it on my paper and so you are wrong'. All 4 of us were gobsmacked what had just been said and my brother said to another young waiter 'is that a correct way to speak to a paying customer.' The young waiter said 'why you being rude' in his face. Another waiter dropped a glass by accident and the first horrible young waiter said 'if he does that again I'll sack him'. The only thing that needs to get sacked is your attitude and your stupid haircut. After being served our food, we were completely ghosted and ignored by the two young waiters and our plates were left out on the table for 30 minutes. After speaking to the owner about this, he was apologetic and offered us free food and drinks. After we simply asked for the bill, he persisted, offering us free food, cocktails and desserts in a desperate, insincere attempt to rescue his restaurant from a one 1* review. Well here it is...

Food was very good, service was excellent. Steak was cooked well, but flavour was not to my personal liking. The starters were superb. I had beetroot with goats cheese, which was stunning. Things to know, relaxed dress code, fair priced wine, great food, approx 110 quid a head with 3 courses two bottles of wine and service is included. Would recommend and would go again.

We hadn’t visited MATP for a few years but opted to go again recently for my husband’s birthday and was really impressed. Service was brilliant, food was fantastic and cocktails were great. It is expensive but definitely worth it for a treat or special occasion.

Booked this place as it looked nice only to be turned away last minute as they don’t allow kids under 10 in. Nothing stating this on the website when booking leaving is to look now for reservations last minute. Absolute disgrace

Very disappointed. The staff were really friendly which is the value of the 1 star. The food was so overpriced and bang average, if not below. The steak seemed to be have some "TGI Fridays" style rub or coating that left a plasticy fake smoked taste. The garlic mushrooms were cold, veg rock hard and fries dry. Microwave maybe the hardest working thing in the kitchen! We just had the 2 steaks and 3 sides as listed above and 1 X small glass of wine plus a coke and it came to 110 quid!
