The best restaurants serving Default food in Woodstock and Bladon West Oxfordshire South East

Came here for dinner on Friday enjoyed so came back Saturday. Food excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. Dishes suitable for sharing. The pork shoulder was so tender. We had two lovely evenings here.

Enjoyed a wonderful 2 night B&B stay with dinner. Lovely quiet & cosy accommodation, excellent attentive staff . Mahalia gave exceptional attention & even advice on the bus services for a seamless day trip to Oxford . We would certainly recommend & will return Outstanding Thank you

Stopped off here whilst killing time for my car service locally. Lovely coffee, really nice strong but not bitter! Almond croissant was fresh and absolutely delicious (and huge!) good service, friendly and fast! Will def go back and recommend

You can have half and ha,f in one scoop. Two flavours. First time we came across such a good deal. Had the chocolate n ginger with hisbicus n lemon. Both were fantastic! Not to be missed!

Pub atmosphere. The rooms were clean and had all the trimmings. Bathroom extras. Tea cofee biscuits etc. Compared to other establishments nearby. Full choice of breakfast included. Excellent value for money.

Utterly charming village pub completely let down by the hostile attitude of the owner. We pulled up intending to have a beer and some lunch and visit churchills grave 3 mins over the road and were subjected to a screaming session from the owner who had just pulled up and was displeased about the amount of cars in the car park. Turns out the primary school opposite had an early finish and parents had used her car park for collection. We had to enter the pub to register our numberplate anyway, and even after telling her we would be returning for lunch after walking over to the grave site (c. 10 mins total when we later went) she continued screaming that she didnt care and we had to move our car, and followed us into the pub, continuing to shout infront of lunchtime customers, even continuing after her barman explained about the early school leaving. We paid for a beer as the car park was then too full of people to move the car easily, but decided we weren't spending lunch there. Car park was empty before half a pint was finished so we moved to the opposite side of the road and visited the grave site as planned. For a countryside 'community pub', that reception was unacceptable. I understand issues with parking around school time but that is part of being a community, and easily manageable without being aggressive to customers. Rural pub footfall is based on ramblers and walkers visiting and being so close to a national landmark must be a huge benefit to their footfall so I am unsure why, if there was such an issue on a private site, signage or other means couldn't have been used, or communication to the school/parents regarding her wishes

Popped in for a pint with family tables are spaced far apart so felt safe cheap prices for members and non members would recommend to anyone visiting Woodstock, sports on tv (any sports that is on) Who could complain

Fantastic meal and service for a family celebration. We all really enjoyed our main meals and managed to find room for a delicious pudding! Really friendly staff and will definitely be visiting again. Would highly recommend.

Great food, great service, was an amazing night, everyone enjoyed the food and drinks, food came out quickly and up to standard!

Had Sunday lunch for Mothers Day it was lovely. I had the roast pork which was lovely my husband had roast beef. Everything was lovely The roast potatoes were especially lovely. the Manager even brought our dog a little plate of beef so she she wasn’t left out. Our waitress was excellent the service was amazing. We felt really looked after, especially on such a busy Sunday service.

Service from the young team was exceptional. Thank you for making my wife’s birthday so special. It is such a pity it’s more than an hour from Stratford upon Avon, as we would visit more often

Outstanding meal- everything was utterly delicious. We had the crab and raviolo to start and the pork and salmon dishes for main- I would order all again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them all! Service was also unobtrusive but attentive - a perfect balance. My only slight let down was the ‘elevator’ background music, which dimmed the atmosphere somewhat. I am to return however as the food was sublime and would like to try the other dishes.

No the same brilliant experience as the Galleria. Food OK but just a now normal wine bar with food. And no real atmosphere.

After a full day of touring the Palace and the Gardens, we fancied a good curry and a cool Cobra and DaBa was a great option - tasty vegetarian thali and superb service, thank you!
