Absolutely love the food here. It is the closest we have to fine dining in Barry at a fraction of the price. Martin's dedication to providing excellent food and service is admirable. On this occasion we had salmon with beetroot and apple and a creamy mustard sauce - scrumptious!! Followed by perfectly cooked fillet steaks as it was steak night. We are so lucky to have this restaurant on our doorstep. Thoroughly recommend it and look forward to the tapas days which he is starting next week.

Absolutely superb. You must visit here you will not be disappointed. We were a party of 9 and the service, quality of food and all round experience was amazing. Please keep it up, we will be back

Brilliant would go again fast food

Really nice sandwiches both hot and cold. The bacon used is both thick and not full of fat and the sausages taste good too. The reason that I use Cafe Atlantic that apart from what I have previously said, extra care is taken to put cold items seperate to hot so that you don't have a problem when your food arrives as you do with some other shops. 👏👏

I often pop in here with my daughter who absolutely loves the thick choc shake and very much enjoys the sandwiches, all the food we've tried here has been delicious and the staff are always so friendly and helpful, I'd recommend that anyone who may be passing by to stop in for a bite to eat and a cuppa.

Ordered a social chow mein and the pork was pink, chips was cold 1 prawn and mushroom in each absolutely appalling for the price and it was a big meal the family had ordered I am 6 months pregnant and being served undercooked food.

I always get the chicken with chips and curry sauce. And it's always lovely. Had the cod this time. The cod was nice but the large bag of chips I had with it were awful. Dry, hard, and crunchy. Like they were stale chips that had been left out in the heater for a very long time. Disappointed

Worst chow mein I have ever had . Only ordered because new kwon shan closed on Monday and Tuesday. Next time I will wait .

Me and my partner just came out of new yangs, what a nice place. The staff were very friendly on arrival Showed us our table and took our drinks order straight away. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and the lady that served us was so friendly. The food was lovely and tasty We will definitely be coming back Thank you for a great evening

Stunning food. The chicken tikka baguette was so good!! You could taste the freshness of the food! My colleague had a jacket potato with creamy cheese and that was absolutely lovely too and very well presented.Highly recommend this place!!

Atlantic Café in Barry has a reputation as a classic greasy spoon – popular among locals for its hearty breakfasts, builders’ tea, and big plates that promise to keep you full for hours. Unfortunately, my experience there fell far short of the café’s reputation. Right from the start, the service was disappointingly slow, with a 35-40 minute wait for food. During that time, other customers who arrived well after us were served first, which left us feeling overlooked and frustrated. The cutlery and teacup provided were noticeably dirty, which was off-putting. Adding to the discomfort, there was loud shouting and singing coming from the kitchen, which even led some customers to call out for the staff to tone it down. This atmosphere made the experience feel more about the staff than about the customers, and I felt out of place and uncomfortable throughout my visit. Adding to the chaos, the server was audibly complaining about their early start and workload, creating an atmosphere that was anything but inviting. The walls, too, weren’t well maintained, with food splatters visibly marking them. I wasn’t expecting fine dining, but I did hope for a clean, calm environment with friendly service and good, honest food. When my meal finally arrived, my jacket potato was missing its promised salad, which only added to the overall disappointment. I had hoped for a positive experience, but sadly, from start to finish, it was a letdown.

Love this takeaway, the food, lovely service and always greeted with a smile! Would recommend always
