Great Indian takeaway - the guys were really helpful when I had a problem collecting, and the 3 curry's I ordered were all very nice and as spicy as they should be.

Just moved to Barry and tried it, WOW! It’s the best tasting curry we’ve ever had, great service and super delicious 😍 definitely going to make this our new weekend speciality

Had a takeaway last night I had the Lamb Pasanda and hubby had the Lamb Jalfrezi, the lamb in both dishes was rather tough, certainly not the best, sorry won't be using this place again.

We used to live within walking distance of the Modern Balti but moved to the other end of Barry and it sometimes became a pain to drive across to pick up a takeaway, Then we found out that they had started a delivery service and it was win win for us with our favourite Indian in town, Food as always is cooked to perfection, everything fresh and succulent, Staff amazing and very polite and food delivered within a reasonable time, Thank you, will call again

Came here on a Sunday night as we were stopping at a hotel over the road and needed my curry fix lucky for me this place was tremendous I ordered a lamb kalia a lamb bhuna mushroom fried rice a garlic Naan and 2 chapati’s firstly my kalia was amazing soft lamb potatoes and garlic with fresh green chilli running through the dish it had a real good hot and spicy kick to it I would say it’s the best dish I’ve had anywhere and I live in Birmingham and know what a good curry tastes like!! My wife demolished the bhuna with a lovely garlic Naan excellent and my chapatti’s were lush the rice cooked perfectly all in all top marks give this place a try 👍🏻

Waited over 2 hours for the arrival of our meal. When it arrived, I was very disappointed, tough chicken, flavourless, mint sauce and condiments were poor quality, popadums were all broken. Will never order again, I will never recommend. Do not order if you are looking for authentic Indian cuisine.

Absolutely stunning food! I went with my dad and 2 children last night. The service was outstanding. Friendly cosy atmopshere and the food was 1st class. I love pathia and must have eaten hundreds of them over the years but this was the best ever, perfectly spiced! The children enjoyed it very much. Huge portions too. We will be back! And deffo our new "go to" for a take away treat.

We simply loved this. The restaurant is warm and beautifully turned out. The team were so friendly and welcoming and on a Saturday night there was a huge cohort working. We were shown to a large table with plenty of room for the pram holding our sleeping granddaughter. The food was something else. The home made samosas had flavour so exquisite I have never tasted anything like it before. The chilli squid had a perfect kick, and the chicken domo were superb. Together with other Bahjis poppadoms and a wonderful spicy scotch egg we commenced our meal. The main courses too were exceptional. I had the Calicut beef, round and flavourful with a big hit of ginger warmth. Our daughter the panneer curry which had a glorious tasting Marsala. The boys had the coconut chicken, excellent and the lamb rogan josh , also superb. We had been recommended by other family to visit and we will certainly be back. We only visit Penarth a couple of times a year but this should become a tradition.
