We had looked at breakfast options before visiting and were keen to try The Hive as everything looked so delicious and well presented. I was not disappointed! Tasty food, nicely plated and wonderful friendly service. Took a chocolate muffin away for later, also very yummy!

Coffee was excellent…… Ginger cake was Great…. Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff….. Dog friendly too…… There seemed to be a constant flow of people heading upstairs to the Yoga studio so I’m guessing their sessions are popular…… definitely worth a visit for a break from the bustle of Ramsgate…..

I visited the Real Scoop and had the most delightful ice cream (Blueberry flavour, but my partner had Raspberry that was equally delicious!). Very good quality, really creamy and fruity, and really good value! Generous portion sizes!

On 24/08/24 we had an 80th Birthday Party at our house for 40 people. We used Roostys bakery for the buffet. The food was excellent we couldn't fault anything. There was a good selection with delicious fillings in sandwiches and wraps. Savouries were tasty and cakes went down a treat. 100% would use them again. Thank you Roostys Norma

Group of 6 of us went for the first time a couple of weeks ago, had a brilliant evening, delicious food, excellent friendly service. The menu looked a little daunting to start with but the young woman looking after us explained everything. We had a range of dishes, all were very good, and we want to try more. Really enjoyed our evening and will definitely be going back.

First time at Jah Jah and we loved it so much! The waitress was really nice to us and the ambience at the restaurant was really good. The food really was amazing! I never had anything like it before. Next time we're in Ramsgate we definitely come back!

Wonderful - Ramsgate's secret attraction. A fabulous Indian gourmet restaurant in a traditional Victorian establishment close to the harbour. Service is impeccable, and uniquely the restaurant serves appetising morsels between courses which are unbelievably tasty and endlessley surprising. Courses arrive very well timed, Wine is suitably chilled, tastes are totally authentic with depth of flavour, thoughtful preparation, and well sourced ingredients. For all this the price is affordable and the ambience of the environment is perfect. I will always go here. So should you.

I went to two Beano cafes while I was in the area. I found the one in Broadstairs poor; but this one was terrific. Beano isn't a chain, as such, but more a set of individual businesses. So that must explain it. The big difference was that the chefs in the Ramsgate one really knew how to cook an English breakfast. There's an art to it and they nailed it. In particular, the food was piping hot, and the two over-easy eggs were served perfectly runny. Also the two hash browns were deliciously crisp, not soggy. Even the tea was bang on. Only let down was the catering-level sausage. They were quite busy, a good sign, with groups of locals and workmen in. The cafe's not on the seafront; but it's a good place to stop for breakfast if you're walking, like I did, down to the western seafront from the station. Prices are good value.
