Visited this takeaway during COVID . Ordered on the phone standing outside the door ! Two large pizza deal . Tried to to be humorous with the girl behind the counter, just glared and sighed at me all the time. Paid contactless then asked for a receipt , she sighed again . When we got the pizzas home they were just mediocre not what we had come to expect from a quality food chain .

For a variety of reasons I had not been to the Royal Oak for some time and went there for a drink with friends. I was horrified to see how the decor had deteriorated to such an extent it could only be described as shabby and well past the time that refurbishment should have taken place. The covering fabric on the benches was so dilapidated that in places it had disappeared the supporting fabric underneath was wearing out. The door to the ladies toilet, where it was being pushed to open it, had worn off to below the primer and looked grubby. I chose not to use the toilets for fear of what I might find. Greene King should be ashamed to put their sign above the door and improve the environment that the staff, who were cheerful and polite, have to work in representing the Company.

Room had damp and stains all over the ceiling..the tv remote had no back and didn't work so went to reception to get it sorted,the lady was helpful and got another remote..like most premier inns you never get a phone reception if you do it's poor..the food in bar was OK..

The customer service here is laughable. Went this evening and actually felt like we were unwelcome as customers. No notice from staff when we were left waiting a silly amount of time for our food. Had to ask what was happening for any info. For the quality of the food there's not much point going.

I'm leaving 1 star—not because of the food, but because doing your job properly matters. It was a night shift with barely any customers, so there's no reason mistakes like this should happen. When I got home, I realized part of my order was missing—and not something small, it was a full quarter pound burger. There's really no excuse for that kind of oversight when things are slow.

Failed to have a sign on the door that they are only catering for the hotel only. Waited half an hour with four children for them to open the door, had to ring them ourselves to find out what was happening and person on the phone didn’t sound apologetic at all.

Portway Inn, was the best place for breakfats for my family and I. we use to go each week. Todday we were turned away and was told they no longer accept outside customers only residents only. I have taken a picture of each of these. There terms and conditions, there website, their menu and when you walk towards the reception entrance from car park, no where does it say residents only can get breakfast. what a waste of time and fuel. I am so disappointed.

The carvery this Sunday was excellent. The owner seems to have taken the bull by the horn and decided to get behind the carvery himself. The difference in quality and service was night and day from the previous year. Definately be visiting again soon and looking forward to what the weekly menu looks like. Thank you guys x

Only ordered one pizza and took over an hour to be delivered. This was also 20 minutes later than latest delivery team as originally advised. When the pizza arrived it was also going cold which was really disappointing.

I have been sat outside for 25 minutes waiting to get breakfast this shop is supposed to be 24 hours but whenni knocked they just looked snd blanked me customer service is shocking
