Exceptional food and service. Amazing drinks. I am so sad that Georgia is leaving Oxford! I would love to go back.

I always make a point of visiting Bruin Cafe when I am in the Oxford area, often taking long detours just to get there! I must have popped in 30 times now. Quite simply, it has the best coffee, pastries and light snacks that you will find in a Cafe, anywhere! The salt beef bagel is ridiculously good (and when the guy from the kitchen serves it, you can see he knows how good it is!). The staff are great and clearly passionate about their business and now they have expanded, there is seating too. Well played guys, first class job, looking forward to the next 30 visits...

We recently booked Durban Spice for a private dining experience. First off the ease and communication from Shabs was first class. On the evening, the welcome to us and the rest of our guests was super warm and friendly. Sarah did an excellent job of hosting us and accommodating to all ensuring we all felt at ease. The food was literally incredible, the flavours were even better than the food back home in Durban. Sarah & Shabs did a great job explaining the dishes, their story and how they come to get that real true Durban flavour and spice. Thank you so much, it made for a wonderful evening and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. If you are looking for not just amazing food but a true South African dining experience don’t hesitate to book. 🇿🇦🍾🙏🏼

Superb! If you love Thai food then you cannot experience better than this. A firm favourite restaurant for us, with wonderful friendly welcoming owner and staff in both the pub area, and restaurant. Quality of food is not to be missed. They do takeaway too for collection, equally amazing quality. Varied menu choices, and attention to detail is impressive. Take a visit and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed :-)

Antes me gustaba ir aquí, pero recientemente el tamaño de las porciones se ha convertido en una broma. Comí pasteles de pescado para empezar. Tenía el tamaño de rodajas de peperoni de 2 x 3 mm de espesor. Para la red tuve un curry y arroz, la comida era agradable, pero de nuevo las porciones son terribles (no es como si el arroz fuera caro). Así que después de irnos tuvimos que ir a otro lugar para comer de verdad.

Fantastic food and excellent service. Make sure you book as it can get busy. Reasonable prices as well. I would highly recommend going here.

Visité este restaurante mientras estaba en la zona por negocios, esperando la hospitalidad turca habitual y buena comida. Sin embargo, mi experiencia fue decepcionante. Visité con dos amigos, y todos pedimos las "chuletas de cordero de 4 piezas" que figuran en el menú. En su lugar, recibimos solo 3 piezas cada uno. Cuando pregunté por qué, afirmaron que había una pegatina en el menú corrigiéndolo, pero ninguno de los tres menús que recibimos tenía pegatina. La camarera, Ozga, reconoció el error y nos prometió una bebida de cortesía. Sin embargo, nunca lo recibimos. Uno de mis amigos pronunció juguetonamente unas palabras en turco, y desde ese momento, Ozga comenzó a ignorarme y solo habló con él. Le pedí salsa de ajo, y en lugar de responderme, le dijo algo en turco a mi amiga y se fue. Nunca recibimos la salsa. Al final de la comida, pedí que se eliminara el cargo por servicio debido al mal servicio. Ella se negó, aunque es mi derecho legal solicitar su eliminación. No quería discutir más, así que me fui sintiéndome completamente insatisfecha. Esta fue una experiencia desagradable, y no recomiendo este restaurante a nadie. No voy a volver.
