The best restaurants serving Default food in Maidstone South East

Always prefer to eat here than mcdonalds and Liam behind the counter recognises me and always goes above and beyond.

All good accept I paid for a meal which included a drink that I chose but did not receive!???

Waited over 90 minutes for delivery of just warm food. Phone number reports out of service half the time, guy I finally got through to didn't care and hung up on me. Food was just about warm enough but definitely wasn't fresh. Should have ordered Domino's, lesson learned!!

Wanted to book a table for 5 people but could only do 1,2,3 & 4 but they wouldn’t guarantee if we booked 2 tables that we would all be together and they wouldn’t put 2 tables together. I have never been to any restaurant that wouldn’t try to help but I find the management here very unhelpful and dismissive. We walked out and won’t go there again and won’t recommend them.

We booked in advance,they had said there was a recent new owner, he seemed friendly and offered us a deal on table time which was great but the whole place needs a revamp lots of broken items and tables everywhere. The whole place seemed tense almost unwelcoming which is a shame.

This Cafe doesn't get any better. I like to visit here with my mum and have a look around. First problem was the lift was out of order. My mum has to use a walker so it was incredibly difficult for her to get upstairs to the cafe. Luckily it was working when we wanted to go down. The real problem here is the cafe. Very very slow service, bored disinterested staff and dirty tables. We were there 45 mins and several tables weren't cleared. And the guy with the long beard and greasy hair still doesn't tie his hair back or wear a beard net. Very unhygienic.

Absolutely terriable. My donner wrap was cold , like stone cold. I took it back and they made me a new one which was also cold. The shop was very dirty with donner meat all over the shop floor. This place needs reviewing. Not good !

Awful coffee. It was undrinkable so we returned 3 full cups (either burnt beans or a chemical taint in the water) and just got shrugs from the staff. Also. Also very expensive - you’d be better off visiting McDonald’s which is saying something!

SO SLOW…ordering here is like watching paint dry. Takes ages and just tedious. Why is ordering here every time so so slow and takes forever for the food to get to you?

My visit to McDonald’s in Hollingbourne was disappointing. The service was slow, the food was lukewarm, and the order was incorrect. The restaurant was also untidy, which made the experience even worse. Not what I expected.

The staff have got such an attitude in there and can’t be bothered to help . Talk to each other instead of to a customer and when you tell them the food is cold they pull a face at you

I have been a huge fan of KFC since the 70’s and have watched the steady decline in quality and taste over the years. KFC fries have been the worst available for a while, a fact accepted by themselves. They even sent emails announcing their new ‘seasoned fries’. We thought we would give them one last chance. Oh boy, big mistake. Food was fresh and hot so no excuses there. The two piece meal was the worst I’ve ever had. My son had a chicken popcorn meal. Both were tasteless and the fries? well they were just the old fries with some non descript seasoning. Hardly any of them and no flavour whatsoever. We both had an overwhelming taste of grease, so much so that we had to stop and buy something to take the awful taste away……without success. I could still taste it 4 hours later. I’ve now had my last KFC. Unless they return to their original fries, which were great, and the original colonel’s recipe, I won’t be returning. There are far better options out there and when KFC should be upping their game, they are doing the exact opposite.

Never, ever, ever, ever get delivery from Week st branch. It was cold, dried out and looked exactly like it was, the last dregs sent to someone who paid money and they knew there was no chance of any comeback from ripping someone off. kfc should close down everywhere.
