My visit to McDonald’s in Hollingbourne was disappointing. The service was slow, the food was lukewarm, and the order was incorrect. The restaurant was also untidy, which made the experience even worse. Not what I expected.

Staff always polite and very helpful. Always clean and tidy. Will always stop when passing as never had a bad experience

Queued for ages at the drive thru, then waited ages for our food - NOT the quick stop off we’d hoped for. Very disappointed.

The youngest daughter was poorly so of course a McDonald’s will make her better, the staff here were very polite and friendly and the service was quick and easy using the drive through 👍

The worst McDonalds experience I have ever had. It was a drive through. We ordered our meal. Waited 10 minutes in the queue (6 cars from collection to order). We paid, waited a few minutes and were given our drinks and asked to go to next window for food. Waited for another few minutes. While we were waiting we noticed staff running in and out, delivering and collecting food and drinks from other parked cars. When we eventually got our food we drove off, only to find that we were given the wrong food. We had been driving for 5 hours and were too tired to drive to the next junction, turn around back to the restaurant to do anything about it.

It's a shame that this McDonalds is so convenient for me living just up the road, but it honestly has some of the worst overall service i've ever had at one of these restaurants. The person at the other end of the intercom can never hear you so you have to shout your order, how hard can it be to understand "quarter pounder" or "large"? Then when you get to the windows it's run by teenagers who don't know what manners are, then you have to be told to go park up because they can't handle the volume of customers, then when they do come out after 20 minutes they can't find your car an wander around like headless chickens. It doesn't help that the person who writes down the number plates does so with a thick black marker, making it hard to read for them I suppose? Don't get me started on the "we've run out of milkshakes" that I seem to get no matter what time of day I go there. As I say, it's a shame it's my local, otherwise I would avoid if I was making my way to the coast and go to the Eureka Leisure Park in Ashford, much more choice and the food is out much quicker.

Got lunch today. Double quarter pounder and fries. I noticed that the quarter pounder I ordered came out and waited for it to be served. After waiting a few minutes (like 5/6/7) the entire time my burger is getting cold, my try got picked up and the manager I can only assume by the black cardigan and white shirt went to do the fries. Now clearly there was no fries but she decides to scrape around every lost fry available the hands over what can only be described as half a potion which had been hanging around anything from 10 minutes to whenever the last time it was cleaned. Then she handed me the tray knowing what I'd just seen and smiled. I don't like to make a sense even though I felt insulated Safe to say I didn't eat them and the burger wasn't as cold as expected. Before you all think I just love doing this, no my first time complaining

Worse mc donalds I've ever been to should be called slow food not fast food and the food is dry tasteless, staff are rude ,never again

2 large meals 3 extra burgers With desserts and drinks No sauces so went back and got them then get home to find burgers are incorrect Messaged customer support showed them the ticket, to order and the food they said go back to store which is 20 mins plus away a place we don’t go often and it’s managers discretion absolute bs it will be refunded as product paid for was not delivered Can’t take pics of missing items but have some pics

30/07/2021M20 Junction 8 location.I knew that this will be an order to remember!I arrived in store, ( I don’t work for them so I do not use the screens). I found a person very quickly who took my order. What a very pleasant young lady, I asked for the UNFORGIVABLE 8 Apple pies. I was politely informed that they will take about 5 minutes. This I accepted as it is an ‘unusual order’ There was a young lad who was very alert that I was waiting an unusually extra time, he asked what I had ordered as my number was 078 and they were on orders 96 etc. I told him and he checked the order and apologised for the long time. I said that I was not worried as these had to be cooked. His attentiveness was excellent.I only have 2 moans:1. I didn’t get his name.2. There were no chairs to sit on. Being very disabled this was not acceptable, as I noticed there were chairs in the main food court. Damn Virus, mucks everything up!So to recap. • Full marks for the food and the concern for my wait (Not weight as I know I’m fat!)• No marks for lack of chairs.Will come in again next time in Area.Many thanksDavid Meacham

Staff really good, polite and fast service. Good COVID procedures in place. Free parking which is right outside. Food hot, fresh and tasty

Absolutely hopeless - who manages this branch. Every time someone collected a drink order they had to ask for a straw. Is it too difficult to remember that a straw might be needed ? Every order wrong - always missing stuff you have paid for. I suggest everyone checks their order thoroughly before they leave as they can’t seem to read a list and put it together. Or better still, don’t go there.

Popped in to purchase a quick happy meal, so I could get the children to soft play, however took forever, at least 20 orders waiting and none ready at one point. This has happened previously so it's not a one off, the staff seem ok but on observation maybe walking slightly quicker might produce a speedier result. Lots of dragging if feet and service with no enthusiasm.

Staff outnumbered customers yet they seemed to be moving around aimlessly, no sense of urgency. Food only lukewarm. Needs someone to come in and sort them out.

Despite being goaded by a rude customer in front of me, the staff were polite and friendly. Why people think it's ok to abuse these young people I find it hard to understand. The food was hot, reasonably quick and order was correct despite being really busy.

Had to wait over 30 minutes for 'fast food'!!! They had plenty of staff, but totally unorganised ....,,,,,,

Long queues every time, been stood here 29 minutes, order wrong, staff rude and just don’t care, if your looking for fast food keep driving to next services!

Stayed at the Days Inn next door and so grabbed a McDonalds breakfast the next morning. I had read some horrific reviews of very slow service and cold food; however, there was no evidence of this and we enjoyed a typical breakfast which was delivered just 5 minutes after ordering.

20 minutes wait for 2 portions of fries and a drink... 20 minutes or more (I stopped looking) of watching staff potter about uninterested. 2 managers laughing around, like no one could see them. Machines had no receipts. No one serving. Plenty of Burgers piling up but no chips being cooked to go with them. Never have I seen more than 30 customers waiting and no member of staff even acknowledges that anyone is there. When we did receive the chips, how obvious, they were far from fresh and felt like they’d been sitting for half an hour. McDonalds is supposed to be fast, convenient and consistently the same across branches. It’s 10pm in the evening... not 3am, you’ve plenty of staff there. Won’t bother returning, oh and asking for sauce seemed such an inconvenience. Didn’t eat the chips, they were disgusting.

Then was told the vegitarian options weren’t being served today. The whole service station is bad aswel. The automatic door doesn’t open, and the automatic soap dispenser also doesn’t work. Avoid this place at all costs. It’s awful.

19.00 hours. Only 3 computers working to order from. Long queues. No vegetarian burgers or wraps available. Dirty floors and bins overflowing.

Needed to get food quickly. This was the nearest place. Ordered from a machine. Took 8 minutes to get my food. Not that many people in front of me either. Food was typical McDonald's fare served with indifference.

After a few days in Bruges, it was so sad to return to what we have to accept as crap fast food with poor organisation, poorly trained rude staff and terrible quality food. I actually used to like McDonald's, but not any more. No drinks, not any...except warm cans of diet Coke? Drinks machine broken apparently and a long winded explanation from a member of staff, explaining that they have had problems cleaning out something? The whole experience would have been laughable if not so annoying! Terrible experience and definitely my last McDonald's visit unless I am drunk or dying of starvation.... Even then I would have to think about it very hard! Come on McDonald's, try and get back on track, you are not too big to go bust!

Called in around 13:30 and they were quite busy. Ordered food for 5 from one of the terminals and it arrived in less than 10 minutes which, given how many they were trying to serve, was quite good we thought.

Really slow service. Arrived 08:45 ordered a Sausage Meal. Only 2 orders being prepared infront of my order. Finally received food 09:13. To add insult it was not very warm. But had lost the will to complain.

The food is sometimes nice and hot but it helps if they actually read the order from the machine. Got the wrong order twice. Every time we seem to visit there is no ice cream or milkshakes!!

After a meagre meal at Leeds Castle, my friends and I had a well cooked burger and chips before retiring for the night.

Stopped here on way to airport for a quick bite and a cuppa. Huge mistake, ordered bacon rolls from Mcdonald and asked for the bacon to be crispy, not a big ask really but the reply from the lad serving was "it comes how it comes". After quite a wait we got our rolls only to find almost raw bacon. Definitely will not be ordering food from there again. The one star is for the coffee.

It's a Mcdonalds, It has a restaurant area and a drive through. We have only ever used the drive through when we have fancied a naughty nugget or two. If you want a McDonalds as McDonalds go its not the worst I have had.

The service is very slow, we arrived at 8.50 so it was fairly busy. I’m not sure what the issue is however no other McDonalds I have ever visited has taken this long, food wise it was warm so that was a positive.

After trying out the self sevice screens two out action placed order,asked for reciept which didnt happen then i know busy but 30min wait im sorry not good at all the all burgers were luck warm upon recieving will not return to mcds worst costmer service and no appology for the wait well done could gone for sit down men got quicket

It's a McDonald's . And....... What would you expect.... It's another ...McDonald's. And then you move on.

He visto algunas críticas negativas aquí pero fui con ningún problema. Sin embargo, 4.15 am fue. Los niños estaban muy contentos el menú normal sigue así.

Fuera de la mano, un descuidado y antipático tos servicio de un miembro del personal. La comida era menos calientes y sin salsas ofrecieron o proporcionaban. Los viajeros busca la coherencia en McDonald's, pero fue una experiencia decepcionante y deprimente que parecían reflejar bajo-formado y mal personal motivado y mala gestión. No volvería, y no lo recomiendo.

Writing on here as can’t find the M20 Jct review page... stop for a break and quick lunch, guessing by car park long wait will be in order.....How wrong was I. It was very busy inside everyone was very busy....food arrived very quickly, Chicken sandwich or whatever it is called. Decided to seat inside and eat, bit into the bun and then realised no crunch to the lettuce.......explore in order opened it up and that when I found it........clear signs that it was made ages ago the heat had killed the lettuce even some of the lettuce was crispy due to cooking in the heat of the over head lights...Yummy NOT....made a comment to the McD’s table cleaner and showed him the mess called lettuce and his reply was that is because of the heat.....as it just been made......i smell something now and it was not the standard McD’s smell....I gave a confused...REALLY look. He went to get the manager straight away he looked and stated sorry it was cooked a while ago and replaced it on return Chicken sandwich with crispy lettuce.....Lesson don’t walk away from McD’s M20 Jct 8 without checking your food first as you could end up with stuff that was made ages ago.

This is what you would expect from a mcds, same food, same price and same service. Good location, and great if you want some fast food!

Oh cielos, una experiencia desagradable. muy escaso, las largas colas en la mayoría de las veces, la actitud del personal es muy tímido. Los pedidos mal entregados, a veces casi frío y muy grasoso o grasienta. Lo mejor de esta sucursal está las fotos grandes de lo que pretende ofrecer, por desgracia la realidad es algo diferente.

Teníamos 10 11 años para proporcionar el almuerzo para después de un photoshoot de cumpleaños! Ya habíamos llamado hasta el restaurante con nuestros pedidos. Cuando llegamos, tuvimos un equipo ya tratar con las órdenes y tenía a destinar un área de descanso para las chicas también!

Tuve la desgracia de patronise este restaurante a las 2 de la madrugada en la ruta hacia el túnel bajo el Canal de la Mancha

El peor lugar en el que me he comido. evitar a toda costa. necesitan seguridad en la puerta para evitar los garrulos locales al entrar en este establecimiento. Por desgracia los patrones no entienden que en un país civilizado personas cola, el personal necesita capacitación como son incapaces de manejar o expectativas de cliente o control de multitudes.

For a service station. It does as it says. Outdoor seating. All the McDonalds usual s very fast service.

Another maccy d's in another motorway services. they get orders wrong, long wait for food which is always reipping in fat.
