A nice friendly shop, supporting the locals, sit outside in the sunshine or sit inside, coffee is lovely,great selection of snacks, gluten free, vegan etc and light meals, always served with a smile.

Dashed here just before closing after a sea swim because I’d heard they did GF fish and chips six days a week. They could not have been more helpful and understanding re my needs as a Coeliac. The food was delicious, the owners knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

Excellent place with air conditioning, friendly table service and live sports on tv. Open for pre-booked Sunday lunch.

A great little restaurant, amazing food. Sadly only a few people in there, they definitely deserve to be packed. Presentation of the food is excellent and flavours are very good. Highly recommend

Everything good from the food to the service. But a little expensive

Lysses organised our Mum's "wake" last week and made the whole process slick and professional. The setting & building are exquisite and the food was perfect. The staff were kind and helpful. Lysses was always Mum's favourite place to go with Dad, me my son, for lunch, when he was a baby/toddler, so it was the perfect choice. Our Mum would have thoroughly approved of everything. Thank you for making a sad occasion memorable & special. Debbie Maidwell & family.

First timers here, but sad to hear it's closing for good due mainly to lack of customers. What we had was tasty, but a very small and disappointing choice on the serve yourself section.

Really good value, good portions, plenty of toppings, nice light waffles and the milkshakes are good too. Arguably better than the bigger chains. Edit: Aug 2024. Really need to clean or replace the chairs. Not nice. Dropped a star because of this. Still great deserts though

We booked a pre theatre meal and thought it was excellent value at £25 for three courses. The service was efficient and friendly, our pork main course was tender and tasty and the other courses were good.

I don't usually write reviews for chains but I was in this costa in the morning of 03/05/24 and the staff were absolutely lovely! I didn't catch any of their names but those serving were so friendly and created such a welcoming environment. Hopefully this reaches them!
