Excellent host, excellent food, excellent service 👌

Another amazing dinner here. We come for our three year anniversary as this was one of the first places I took my girlfriend when we met. Antonio is an amazing character. See you soon. Mr Dawson!

Food was incredible and good size tapas dishes. Prawns are insanely good. The host..what can I say! One of the best and made us feel welcome. Wish I lived closer to make it a regular visit but will definitely return when back down south

Another lunchtime visit to Antonio's did not disappoint. Wide selection to choose from on the tapas menu. I definitely recommend the pork strips in red wine, but it was all delicious. The setting and the service from Antonio makes you feel like you could be in Spain.

Amazing food, with excellent service. If I'm being picky, I would have liked more variety in the vegetarian options, however I can not fault the meal I had. The dessert of traditional Spanish Chocolate Torta was the highlight...rich chocolate flavour, perfectly, but not overly, sweetened....absolutely delicious! We will definitely be eating at Antonio's again.

We have booked a table for family birthday. mix tapas,Lamb shank. Normally we would have their fresh fishes as main, but this time we pre ordered a paella , it was so delicious . Everything was outstanding. The whole family enjoyed the evening . Big thank you to Antonio

After ordering the main dish we weren't asked how the food was, because the owner knew very well how the last dish after many days tastes like. When you pay around £20 for a main course in 2019 you don't expect a slice of cabbage stem, few carrots and broccoli and call them seasonal veg when it is summer! The owner can grill and chat but that's about it. Pureed tomato? Meatballs that come frozen and ready and cost next to nothing but sold at a huge profit? So few new potatoes. I could have brought some from home!! High prices do not always provide a fine meal. Neither do small portions assume to be fine too. Customers are polite but not stupid. The tomato sauce with the 3 prawns, 5 mussels, rice and a shred of fish wasn't nice at all, as if it is close to getting off. It wasn't cooked on the day!!!! It was on the board outside the door for days so it was an old dish.... Sadly sellers assume the customers have no idea. As if we don't shop or cook or even serve customers ourselves. Even paid I'm not going there again!!!!

Recently visited with a friend, first time for him. Chorizo and black pudding my favourite to start Then the best steak ever, perfectly cooked. Cheese and port to finish it off. Great service as always, good atmosphere and a great evening. Well worth the visit.

Fantastic authentic Spanish restaurant! If you didn't know different you would think you were in Spain. Eccentric waiter might be from Barcelona! Great food drinks and service. Worth a visit.

Really lovely dinner here. Antonio was very welcoming and gave an excellent service. The atmosphere was good. Had 3 course set menu and all the dishes were excellent. Presented beautifully and really delicious! Would definitely recommend this place! Will be going back to try the tapas at some point!

Excellent fish cookery, wine was wonderful. Only down side was the patatas bravas not crispy and lacks picancy. Atmosphere was wonderful and 'mine host' is a character.

Would definitely recommend this place Excellent food, great host, and waitresses. Authentic Spanish dishes. Lacked that Spanish music vibe at the start but the meals made up for it.

Went for meal there the starters was appalling, had mushroom in very thin sauce for the money,would not go again,the manager is in your face the whole time,very uncomfortable.

I have no idea why we never tried Antonio's before. Choice and quality of food was absolutely amazing, and the service was even better. Seeing spanish people eating there was a great sign from the outset, but seeing the staff interact with new and regular customers the way they were was really what impressed us most. Will absolutely be coming back as our go-to date night spot.

We were there for a wedding lunch. We were looked after really well. We were a bit awkward as out of a group of 7, 5 of us were vegetarians. Nothing phased them, though, and suggestions were made to help us choose. A lovely experience.

Excellent traditional Spanish restaurant still owned & managed by Antonio. Who rightly takes huge pride in his restaurant. I ate there as part of a party of 8 and everything was delicious. There was also a wide choice of meals across separate main, specials, tapas & 2 or 3 course set menus. I had Meatballs main course followed by Chocolate Torte (with substituted chocolate instead of vanilla gelato) for £25 off the 2 course set menu. Excellent food & value

The food was reasonable so two stars, but the owner/waiter Antonio was incredibly rude and patronising. He seemed to enjoy making a point of lording it over his customers, for example berating me for refilling our empty wine glasses . Perhaps he's a "local institution " who is famous for his head-teacher treatment of diners, but for those not party to this knowledge they should save themselves the poor attempt at aggressive humour (if that's what it was) and go to a comedy club followed by a good restaurant with attentive and polite service.

Food - AMAZING! Great for both fish and meat lovers. Id recommend going if you have someone who loves fish and another who doesn't. The food caters for all! Service with a smile, the owner is lovely, funny and always happy. One of my and my partners favorite places. We go every year for valentines such a nice atmosphere

Antonio's is the perfect place for celebrations. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere for couples, friends and families. There are specials each week and if you have young children they are happy to be flexible and make something to order. Thank you for many special memories ❤

Lovely pre xmas evening meal with wife and son. Cosy spot with attentive and courteous service. Most importantly, fairly decent food throughout not compromised by an extensive choice. May have liked my sauce accompanying pork a little thicker and the meat was a little tough, but minor criticisms.... many places nearby overpriced and microwaved .with 'packet mash'..ugh!! - Will go again and recommend Thankyou Antonio and staff x

We had friends staying so took them to Antonio's on a weekday. Everything was lovely from start to finish. The service was excellent, the food had lots of flavour, was beautifully presented and hot on arrival. Lots of food to choose from....tapas, menu of the day, alacarte, lots of fish and meat dishes so will suit all tastes. Reasonably priced too.

So for my 25th birthday I was treated to a meal at Antonio's and, Honest just had one of the best meals I've ever had, the service was exceptional the food was to die for, it really did feel like I was back in Spain.... I had the deep fryer squid for my stater and the 9 Oz fillet steak for main.. it was just incredible it melted in the mouth the veg was lovely a fresh and cooked to perfection, I would highly recommend this restaurant not many people know about it because of its location and consideration the state of Fareham high street we need to support our local restaurants so please give it a try and that price was amazing considering it was for 4 of us

We went for Tapas and we weren't disappointed! A good selection available and delicious too. Very well looked after by our wonderful host Antoniou and his lovely wife. Definitely be going back to try the fresh fish next time.

We have been here many times. Food is excellent! Probably the most redeeming feature Fareham has to offer.

The service was impeccable and hilarious too. The food was to die for and the fish was so fresh. One of the best cheese boards I have had. I am still wondering why I have never been here before. It certainly will become a firm favourite place for dinner.

We went here last night for a belated Mothers Day Meal, 4 ladies in total. It was fabulous! The host was attentive, accommodating and humorous. The portions were very generous, and delicious, cooked to perfection. Cannot believe we never knew it was here, will definitely be back .

Every time we visit we have the most outstanding food and service!

Below the average food and extremely overpriced. The chicken breast with mushroom sauce is, in fact, three dry and tasteless tiny stripes with some mushroom stripes soaked in an uncertain salty gravy. The so called Brussels pate was strikingly similar to what you can buy from lidl/aldi. Two courses for £20. Nowhere near a proper Spanish/Italian restaurant/eatery. You open the door and it smells like fried fish, worse than in a fish'n chips shop. Not sure if the Maître D' was the owner as well, but it's a false positivity what he displays. My advice? Don't!

Fantastic service, amazing food

First visit here and I'll definitely be going back! The food was absolutely delicious, I had the scallops and they were the best I'd ever eaten. We had a jug of sangria to drink which made a nice change from other restaurants. Tony was absolutely hilarious, but professional at the same time. Looking forward to my next visit 😊

BRILLIANT place to find as I was walking in Fareham town. It has a small staff, so best to book ahead. However, we were able to enjoy a great evening with lovely food served with a flourish.

Lovely food, service and ambience. The main point to note is a huge range of choices on the menu, especially lots of seafood.

Great reception by Antonio - we had fish as recommended which didn’t disappoint. Fresh, flavourful and joy to eat. Forced myself to have a dessert as was so tempted by the Torrijas which was sweet, light and creamy. We’ll be visiting again soon.

Antonio is very friendly, welcoming and funny. The whole staff are nice as well. Efficient and thorough in their presentation and service. Food is excellent, the smell of the food coming out to other people smells delicious even after eating your own. Full on flavour and well presented. Good prices as well, not too expensive at all.
