The best restaurants serving Default food in East Hampshire South East

Our first order with Little fish. All 4 of us agreed it was very bland. It looked so good but no taste to follow it up. We did use the soya sauce provided but only 2 of us wanted the wasabi which was as it should be. We don't like hot but bland is equally bad. Sorry, don't think we'll try again at this price ( £37.50 for 2p which we shared)

cane in for a coffee ended up with cherry cake, homemade bread , two cheese's and doggy biscuits oh and two coffees and nice friendly company, its quaint , old fashioned and just plain old nice

My partner was craving a full English breakfast, and luckily they serve it all day. Everything was made with quality ingredients, cooked perfectly, and served with a smile. Thank you Turtle Bean Cafe in Liss.

Best cod and chips I've had for years .well done guys !!

We have eaten at Treetop many times and the food has always been quite good although a little pricy but last week I ordered a buttermilk chicken burger….this turned out to be a sinewy, fatty chicken thigh which was really horrible. Nowhere on the menu did it say that it was a thigh. I did complain to the waitress who didn’t even know what a thigh was and went off to check and on returning just said yes it was a thigh, REALLY! I just told her that. I was not looking for a refund and my complaint was that it should have said on the menu it was a thigh. It was inedible for me personally and I gave it to my dogs so I spent nearly £15 for some chips and a dry bun. On the plus side their vegetarian sausages are the best I’ve tasted. I was very disappointed in the reaction of Treetop to my complaint, the waitress just said “well nobody else has complained” which really isn’t the point.

Lovely healthy food, friendly staff, relaxing and comfortable surroundings with a big air of sophistication.

We had a fabulous experience working with Chinwags for our 50th anniversary business celebration. The team were flexible, helpful and reliable - and the food was delicious! Highly recommended.

Have been buying the most wonderful fish and chips, always cooked to order, for the last 10 years. I treat myself at least once a week and have never been disappointed. I used to prefer haddock, but after testing their lovely firm cod, I always order a large portion with giant gherkins. The batter is light and crisp, the chips are made from fresh potatoes, and the oil never tastes stale. Yin keeps the premises spotless and I have never been disappointed in the fish supplied. We are so lucky to have had them working so hard for our benefit and I don’t think there is anywhere in the district to match them.

Everything in headley fine foods is yummy to the extreme, in fact it is probably the best thing about headley! The owners are lovely people, and make this not just a place to get delicious food, but also a really important part of the village. I think I could get addicted to the Victoria sponge though… you have been warned

Popped in for coffee. Service a bit too slow. This seems to be one of those places where the staff are all busy doing something but whatever it is doesn't result in simple things being done quickly. Other similar establishments locally do not suffer from this malaise, so are a better choice

Nice tasty tacos. These are street food guys and it’s what you expect - no frills tasty food. Fries were also absolutely brilliant as a side. Will return

Never had a bad meal from Lee’s. The mixed starters box is huge and the Peking duck is always delicious. Full of flavour, highly recommended.

We happened upon this cafe on our travels around the UK and I think it was one of my best breakfasts ever! Everything tasted incredible. The coffee had a great flavour, the sausage and bacon were superb, the tomatoes were the best ever, and even the spinach was special. Such a great experience. The staff were lovely, too. Thank you!
