Buzzing, busy, family-run cafe which we visited entirely by chance, following the brown signs from the A31. A haven of happiness! Fantastic gf chocolate brownie. Equally amazing Biscoff slice, according to my husband. Thank you to the lovely staff, and to Duster the cat, who knew I speak Cat, and gave me a lovely, purring cuddle! I wish we were local..

Great coffee and a varied range of light lunches keeps us coming back to this local café.

A regular stop with the cycling club, coffee always good and the sausage and egg sandwich is always welcome. Service fast and friendly

Our favourite haunt for coffee or lunch. Food excellent. Staff just make the place. If the wall covering showing books was real, I doubt I would ever leave!

I came for a coffee during lunch time. Could see it was very busy so opted for a take away coffee. It took a while to take my order and while I was waiting a table became available. So I asked if I could sit there and was told it was 'rather a waste of a table'! I guess as the table was for four people and I was on my own. The lady begrudgingly let me sit there but it didn't feel great to be treated like that and I hope other patrons, particularly those on their own, will not encounter this kind of attitude. Tables began to clear and nobody was left waiting for a table but I was certainly made to feel my sitting there was a problem. The coffee was lovely by the way.

We found our way here last year, on the way home from a Camping Weekend in the New Forest. We were delighted to find our way again on Bank Holiday Monday.

*My personal view of the full English breakfast was a 2/5 but as that's my preference I'm leaving a 4/5 for the place overall* The staff were so so friendly and warm when we arrived at the little garden centre cafe opened. The interior is prettily decorated with care and style - there's even a little alcove with a few tables and library wall paper which is fun My husband had a chocolate shake which he said was very good and we didn't wait long for breakfast to arrive with hot toast and cute little piped butters. It went downhill from here for me as the beans were EVERYWHERE on the plate covering all the other items in bean juice. Now, if you're a bean fan, I'm sure this isn't a problem but I am not keen on mushrooms, sausage, tomato etc etc being slimy. The egg was cooked well but it was one top of everything so it had a beany underside and made the other items taste of eggy oil. Nearly everywhere I've been in recent years serves the beans in a separate ramekin which also makes the plate look nicer. However, as I said above, this is totally my preference so it wouldn't be fair to mark them down. The loss of one star is because 1. the sausage didn't taste great quality and 2. the mushrooms were too watery. 3. At £13.75 a full English, I think that's quite pricey for the quality. The garden centre has some excellent edibles, gifts and cute cards, so well worth a visit.

An unscheduled stop when in the area yesterday. What a find. Enjoyed beautiful scones and tea and very clean loos. Excellent friendly staff. Sat outside in tranquil surroundings. Thank you so much.

Went for lunch, had the vegan loaded fries and a delicious smoothie. The food came really quick, very impressed.

Always first class, always busy. A great spot for breakfast!

Our first visit (won't be our last) to have a look around the nursery and have lunch. They were busy but were seated quickly. Service was very quick and efficient even though they were having WiFi problems. I ordered a tuna and cheddar cheese sandwich and was so surprised when it arrived. Good thick slices of bread and a massive amount of lovely filling served with a little pot of crisps. Excellent value for money and lovely, friendly staff

We came along today around lunchtime for soup and a coffee, could we get served, no, there were seven staff standing around by the counter which we sat opposite, my wife asked four times if our order could be taken and we got zero response so we left completely unchallenged.

Been here a number of times it was busy and we were told on the phone and when we arrived we could not book a table with hungry little ones and may I say big ones a little frustrating leaving people in the queue whilst the others wandered around

I love coming here! It’s usually for a breakfast on a Sunday morning but I’ve also had a weekday lunch on a few occasions. Always a pleasure to visit, it does get quite busy but that’s because it’s so good. All the usual breakfast items are available including American style pancakes. They also cater for vegetarian and vegan diets.

Great food, good portion sizes. Reasonably priced with a good amount of choice on the menu. Homely feel, and always made feel welcome whether I’ve come dressed up or after a muddy dog walk!

Always friendly staff who do everything to make your visit the best. The food is excellent. The portion sizes are just right for the mains and don’t leave you over full afterwards, though the layer cakes are absolute beasts, so come with stretchy pants if you’re tackling one of those - well worth it though - they are superb.

Great breakfast here! I don't really enjoy fry ups as they tend to be on the oily side, however, this is the one place I can finish the plate as the breakfasts are not smothered in grease! Food is yummy, 'light' and the perfect size to fill you up but not leave you feeling groggy. My favourite for a weekend treat.

Strange place had a Micro breakfast they call it Mini but its Micro,was cooked OK but plate to small.Also couldn't buy an extra sausage for some strange reason Staff friendly.

Stumbled upon whilst plant shopping at the adjoined Garden Centre (which is also lovely!), and we have been back several times since. They have implemented a really good Covid system that allows those concerned to keep their distance and still enjoy a decent meal. The staff are all lovely, the coffee is great and every meal we've had has been delicious. Most definitely worth a visit.
