The Natural Food Deli in East Hampshire

My daughter, 22-month-old grandson and I enjoyed a relaxed, delicious lunch at The Natural Food Deli after a walk around The Heath. It has a lovely ambience and polite, friendly, attentive staff. I was visiting my daughter; if I lived closer, I would make it my regular haunt.

An absolute gem - this place is amazing for veggie, vegan and meat eaters alike! Visited for a delicious lunch yesterday and had a lovely cosy meal, with attentive staff. Thanks so much

Came here for the first time today for lunch with a friend and what a refreshing change! Excellent choice of healthy, but very tasty fresh food. If you fancy a nutritious, healthy breakfast or lunch or just coffee and cake - this is the place to go to in Petersfield. The freshly squeezed juices were also superb along with lovely, friendly staff a welcoming ambiance. Generous portion sizes and prompt service. Every town needs a place like this. We’ll be back. Really fresh, delicious food with sensible portion sizes, I recommend the salmon with three salad options (the broccoli in soy sauce and garlic was excellent and the chickpeas were great). Friendly staff too, thanks for looking after us. We'll definitely come back.

We love the food and drinks on offer here. We often stop here for lunch, consisting of a main and 3 salads. All very tasty. Service is generally very good but can vary depending on how busy it is and staff numbers/experience. Dogs are welcome at the front but this is limited to a couple of tables. We often sit out the back on a nice day as there are tables in the small courtyard. One of our favourites in Petersfield.

I always love visiting this place. It has such a calm vibe. But today, I got takeaway for lunch....delicious salmon and salad, and my favourite indulgence, Golden Milk. Set me up nicely for an afternoon of work. Portions are excellent for the price. The choice of food is great, and always delicious. Thank you 😊

Delicious, nutritious food. Lovely space. I worked for them several years ago, one of the best places I've ever worked. Management make a huge effort to provide a great customer experience while being supportive and kind to staff. Still the best carrot cake I've ever had.

Full, rich, tasty coffee; the carrot cake was moist and delicous, the tiramisu was also great. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

We have the soup of the day, leek and potato, with sourdough bread, which was delicious and freshly made. It was reasonably priced and warmed us up on a chilly day. I will return to try the rest of the menu, which I'm reliably informed is excellent. Staff were very pleasant.

Food was great, but service was awful. After 20 mins of being ignored, I had to go and find someone to ask if we could order some food. It then looked like our drinks order got forgotten, so our food was left (ready) in the kitchen, while we reminded the staff that we didn't have any drinks. Half an hour in, and we finally got our drinks, immediately followed by the food that had been plated up 5 or 10 mins ago. Food was great, but the chef was badly let down by the waiting staff. And then we had to listen to the, 'sorry, but we were really busy and we're understaffed' story - that sort of 'it wasn't really our fault because...' excuse really does annoy me - how hard is it to say, 'you're right, we got it wrong and we're sorry'? Shame - the food was great and we've been a few times in the past and always liked the place - unlikely to ever return again. They did take off the cost of the drinks, and offered to take off the cost of the food aswell - but I didn't come here for free food or drink - just nowhere near good enough.

Super lovely staff and absolutely delicious gluten free savoury food. The salads are superb, and the salmon I had is perfect every time. Sadly, disappointing dessert, the pear and lime cheesecake tasted only of coconut unfortunately. Turmeric latte was yummy, but the chai latte was very watery and flavourless. Really relaxed atmosphere, would definitely go more often if it was slightly more affordable!

A small choice of excellent lunches and drinks and a very popular restaurant which can mean a long wait at lunchtime.

Delicious food and great service

We popped in for a quick coffee that very quickly turned into a delicious breakfast. The vegetarian breakfast is very tasty with lots of flavours. It looks like this small ball won’t fill you up, but you’ll be mistaken. Very happy with the options available and the friendly staff. Can’t comment on lunch but there are plenty of options too. We shall be returning. Thank you to the team at the Natural Food Deli.

Amazing healthy food, coffee & green drinks in town, appreciate someone put that effort to run this great place. Reasonable price and good vibes, staffs are helpful and friendly. We order eggs on sourdough, avocado on sourdough with extra spinach, vegan orange & dark chocolate cake is yummy! We had a wonderful breakfast before drive back to London.

This is a very good veggie/vegan cafe with some meaty options. The service is lovely and the staff are very friendly. Very large selections of juices and smoothies as well if that's your thing. As a non veggie I find the brunch selection is perfect (eggs on toast + extras) but the lunch menu is less suited for me.
