Easter Sunday with the family and it ticked all the boxes. Food, service, value for money and atmosphere were brilliant.

Drinking a cappochino and a rock cake. Very clean, service friendly. They were busy making sandwiches etc to other customers. Everything looked delicious.

Wow this place is a little gem ! My first time here today and was extremely hungry ! We got a table for 2 me and my friend. They staff was very friendly and welcoming ! We got a table straight away and did not book... we had a drink on our table before we knew it and was ready to order our food... the food was 10/10 couldn't find nothing wrong with any of it and it was all piping hot ! The best creamy mushrooms around and the red wine lasagne was to die for the salad so fresh and crisp! I will definitely be bringing my hubby on the next visit ! Thankyou green man what a lovely dining experience !

We arrived early evening ordered food which was fine at 7.35 we were told kitchen was closed so we were unable to have a dessert website states that kitchen closes at 8pm no worries as none of the party wanted a dessert. Last orders was called at 9 pm what pub closes at 9? We were out for the evening looking at the website it says that the bar closes at 10.30 ! Don’t think we will be going for an evening out at the railway tavern again which is a shame .

Shame it doesn't offer blue light card discount. Toilets were disgusting. Not in a hurry to go back.

A really nice meal. Kate, our server, was friendly and efficient. The food was very good. Well cooked and tasty. Great value and definitely recommended 👍

Had a takeaway and it was awful and stone cold the chicken tikka main we had was just plain chicken not an fried onion in site the breads were cold and the curries were boring cold and tasteless they have gone off the boil won’t be back

This place is an expensive joke, had a mixed kebab got 2 bits of burnt chicken 2 slices of donor and a salad so small it's not worth mentioning. Ordered a salad was a tiny box just with cabbage and a whole onion to top it off rubbery chips obviously had been re cooked. Called for half the money back after alot of persuasion got offered extra donor meat the next time I said there won't be a next time. In the end got offered a fiver. Honestly this place is so expensive but not worth it at all

Been here a few times, food always amazing. Just had the Sunday banquet for 2 and their was more than enough food for both of us and was delicious. Service great! 10/10

I’ve been going here 10 years and it’s the best Cafe the food is lovely and the chef is lovely and can’t do enough for you. Service is quick and efficient, the cafe is clean and friendly. I go on my own and always feel comfortable, safe and welcome.

10 of us, including 4 children under 7, went to the Ship Inn for Sunday lunch to celebrate my birthday. The meals were lovely and even though they were very busy, the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Having eaten here on previous occasions and been very happy with the food, we were disappointed today. There were 5 of us and 2 people had fish and chips. The chips were cold and the fish poor standard. I had a piece of Frittata with salad.The Frittata was fine but the salad choice was very limited and uninspiring unlike the choice on previous visits. What has gone wrong ?

Kyla is the best waiter ever! Always here when we need something and lovely and polite ! Really recommended the place !!!!

We’ve always ordered from here and always loved the food but the food was completely inedible, dry and tasted horrendous. We spent a good amount of money for all of it to go in the bin. A real shame. I won’t be ordering from there again.

Expensive, child noisy, screaming. My waffle was not a home made one and not warm. A family place not for quiet chat with Friends.
