Very kind staff and amazing food. The interior is beautiful you’d think you’re in London. Would definitely come back again, it’s perfect for a date night or with family and friends.

Decided to try as work colleagues had been so had a 4pm seating didn't fancy the DJ etc. Nice place parked round the back bit of a dumping ground but got a space which was good. Staff on arrival very pleasent and the bread and dips when we were seated were really lovely, ordered 4 x starters and for the price at just under £10 each these are seriously overpriced for the portion size they need to be aware they are not in London :) we enjoyed them and I had the mixed seafood which was ok nothing to rave about husband had mixed meat and his was very nice indeed. Added a £17 service charge my pet hate I am a firm believer I base my tips on my experience not get it added to my bill without my say so, I would normally challange this but because the staff were lovely decided not to. All in all a lovely visit but if they can increase the portion size slightly or reduce the price slightly then it is a winner.

Went for my birthday with my friends. The customer service was excellent. We was served by marianna and she made us feel very welcome. It was my first time here and the food was fantastic. Can’t fault the service! Deffo will come again :)

We came along when you first opened, it was very crowded, felt really squashed and it just felt horrible and we never returned ùntil now. Wow .. what a difference, service was excellent, food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, we really enjoyed the belly dancer. We will definitely be back !! It feels so much better, spacious, well decorated and a lovely vibe - thank you

Outstanding service and delicious food. It was my wife's birthday and Kayla took care of everything. We didn't bring any cake and she saved me with a special cake and a happy birthday. We will definitely come back.

Just left a google review too (Gilly Gilly) . An excellent evening from the warm welcome by all on entering. To the amazing friendly waiters, the food, the cocktails , the decor, ambience, the entertainment, all faultless. An early eve booking, an unhurried meal. Politely asked if we would like to round off our time in the garden room. With more cocktails. Will be back for sure 👌

Restaurant is so pretty, nicely decorated but strange seating set up. Also wouldn’t suggest going on a first date on a Friday when they have half naked dancers grinding around the dinner table haha. Also parking around here can be difficult. Other than that it’s nice. I’ve been twice and would go again, as long as there was no magicians / dancers etc.

Food ok , waitresses nice , After brunch over and all inclusive drinks over . Bar manager incredibly rude , when ordering drinks , took his time to even look at me let alone serve , clicked his fingers at the very young waitress who got it all so wrong bless her . Will never go again ! And will be speaking to management. All in all shouldn't ever have to come away from a day out feeling angry, when you,ve spent a lot of money and its a celebration !

Fantastic food ! Unfortunately this was a DJ night (Saturday) The music was so loud! We couldn’t socialise/communicate with our friends unless we shouted to be heard over the music. We gave up with communicating with each other and sat eating. I asked for the music to be turned down on three occasions to allow customers to communicate with each other. I was told by staff and the duty manager, “The DJ is not employed by them, meaning they have no power to get the music turned down” I am a bit confused: Are you a night club or a restaurant? Maybe it’s my age (53) and the world has changed and the paying customer has no say. Would not recommend unless the person can sign to each other. Big shout out to the chef- fantastic food, shame about the loud noise .

The food was perfect but the music was too loud… you need to remember it’s a restaurant not a nightclub… I would have rated 5 if the night hadn’t been ruined by the loud music meaning everyone was shouting even the staff struggling to take the correct orders. The manager asked the DJ to turn the music down but was told that because he doesn’t pay his wages he would decide what level the music was played.. I’m not that old 54…but I now have a headache… a very expensive headache!! Such a shame!! There were many people complaining so maybe listen!!! The music is too loud for a restaurant!!!

I don’t normally do reviews (& there’s plenty of good and bad for Efsane) but as this was our first time, here’s my review. There were 4 of us for my wife’s Birthday. With me at the age of 54, I’ve been to many restaurants so here goes… The Good - Lively place with a great atmosphere and decor. We were seated on time; Waitress was on hand to take our drink order; We were left alone for enough time to chat (shout at each other!) and enjoy our drinks before ordering; We asked a few questions about the menu and our Waitress answered and told us what we wanted to know; There were plenty of staff taking orders, clearing plates, delivering food & drinks; All starters & mains were hot, full of flavour and a decent size for a Restaurant (incl the chips) and very enjoyable; Prices are what you would expect to find in London so maybe a bit dear for a ‘local’ Restaurant. The Bad - Book in plenty of time. It’s not huge. It’s very popular; When booking, select the main restaurant, not the Conservatory area. It looked like you were fishes in a bowl with everyone gawping at you! You can’t sit and have a drink beforehand but with the Railway Tavern just 40yds away, who cares! The Salad garnish on the plates was a bit sparse. A like more would have been nice; If you like your music loud, then you’re ok. I’m not over the hill yet but it was loud! Like other reviews, the toilets lacked attention. Someone should be allocated to ‘Wipe Around’ regularly; Overall, we will be going back…as a treat!

Amazing service, food and atmosphere. Had a lovely waitress called Chelsea who was so attentive. The decor is stunning and is very clean. Looking forward to coming back, it is an excellent place for both food and drinks

Service was awful left us waiting 45 mins to order drinks at one point. A cacik starter came out with the sharing bread and dips and placed in the middle of the table and not made clear it was one of the starters, it was not even given its own bread to use. £4.50 for the smallest bowl of chips, literally an egg cup size, and they would not consider substituting the bulgar for chips so we paid for the chips and the bulgar was then still served, such a waste of food and the first time I’ve ever experienced a place that would not substitute without a charge. No entertainment on the Saturday night but later found out the magician was there for inside customers only, not able to make it out to the paying customers in the conservatory for some reason. Food was average for the price. Drinks massively overpriced and the smoke show only came out on the first cocktail and was a bit pointless to be honest. They tried to charge us an extra drink on the bill which we had removed along with service charge. Toilets were filthy, freezing cold water only from taps, hand dryer not working and locks were questionable. We tried this as a change from Greek Meze 2 but learnt our lesson and will go back to the Greek from now on!

Banging food! Service was spot on. Excellent presentation. Was first to be served i think but was 18:30 on a week day. Highly recommended

Came here on a Saturday after hearing good things, the food was amazing and cannot be faulted. However we was seated in the outside area, which is fine, but it means we completely missed out on any atmosphere, the dj and magician and was often left and forgotten about, on more than one occasion waiting more than 30 minutes just to order a drink. The toilets was also absolutely disgusting, shocked that they was in such a state in such a nicely done up place. Will be sticking to the Greek Meze 2, where you are always made welcome in a lovely atmosphere

This place has really gone down hill. The service was not great, the food was over priced, the cocktails were not great, the food was average and the restaurant itself as well as toilets looked dirty and unkept. We ordered a mixed grill which had fat and bones in it. we also ordered a seafood dish, which comes with bulgar. Although we had food intolerances and could not eat the bulgar, we were told we could not substitute the bulgar for chips and would still be charged the same. I asked the waitress if they could leave the salmon out of the seafood, the said they could not do this because it had already been prepared. My dish came and it did not have any king prawns in it, when I told the waitress she simply said “have you checked the bottom of the dish”. Not once did the waitresses check to see if we enjoyed the food. What a shame, this place used to be nice a few years ago. They focus more on the appearance and not the substance.

Lovely restaurant, beautifully decorated.Wonderful menu with lots of gorgeous choices, spoiled for choice, catered to my allergies, and disability,staff were fantastic, really made my birthday special. Could not recommend this restaurant enough. A very good experience

AVOID… Food Standards Agency 1 star review *MAJOR IMPROVEMENT NECESSARY* Food is not safe to eat. The kebab shop across the road is cleaner than this disgusting kitchen. Expensive food, poor service and the façade of the glamor is a contrast to the very poor hygiene in the kitchen. The hostile management refused to believe that our food wasnt cooked correctly. Beyond dissapointed, and dissappinted with our expereince.

Had a family meal booked here and there was young children running around and playing behind the bar which I didn’t find very professional for this type of restaurant. They were up and down the restaurant, people need to learn how to control their kids, this makes the overall experience a very negative one, on the other hand meal was lovely and so were the staff but I thought this aspect lowered the tone of the restaurant. I really don’t know if I want to comeback, at least if I do I will ask if there are kids booked in.

Absolutely thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Efsane. I was a little apprehensive about our booking as we could only get a table in the patio area on the first chilly evening of October. I needn't have worried as the staff were very attentive and put a blanket around me, when they saw I still wasn't warming up they moved the heater right next to our table. At which I was able to take off my coat and felt very cosy. All of the food was amazing and very well presented. There was an enjoyable atmosphere with the DJ and magician. If you are thinking of going to this restaurant. I highly recommend it. You won't be disaappointed. We will definitely coming back!

As I'd never been before i was totally impressed with this lovely restaurant. Food was really nice and lovely service. Was a lovely atmosphere. They had a DJ who was very good but slightly loud but music was great. Would definitely go again.

I went to this restaurant for a nite out with my partner ohh god what a experience.we were rushed and never told we had to be off table at certain time when we booked.we never got our Prosecco topped up once when we where there never got asked if our dish was ok they were very rude to many staff not enough service I will not to return I will keep going to haziene more class better service

First time visiting Efsane, we have visited many Turkish restaurants and this is up there with the best. As a couple we got seated in the quieter part of the restaurant, the main part of the restaurant seems to seat for bigger parties. The service from the beginning was exceptional and that continued out through the night. The food was excellent from the starters to the dessert. Drinks were also very good with a good variety to choose from. The waiter even gave us 2 free shots and a dessert on the house for our anniversary which I thought was a nice touch. Overall we had a lovely meal and would definitely return. Highly recommend.

Nice place for dinner; food was good could do with smaller portions! The music is perhaps a bit too loud which makes it difficult to hold a conversation, otherwise a great place to eat. If you go mid-week you get a discount on food which is always a bonus!

Enjoyed the meal but the volume of music was way too loud. We just couldn't hear each other speak unless we shouted and everyone was doing the same. It was Crazy ! The sound was being amplified by various speakers - one near the bar close to the door where we sat. We asked twice for the amplifier to be turned down but nothing changed. A nearby table thanked us for asking as they felt the same. But nothing changed which was rude on the restaurant’s part not to acknowledge our request - we mentioned this at the end as we were leaving and one member of staff did apologised - but no use by then as the music was still blaring away . We definitely won’t be returning .

Have been here many times before, but never on a Saturday evening. Service was good and the food was ok, but, the DJ was extremely loud. We was a table of 4 and you could not hear the person sitting next to you. We had to ask the manager to turn the music down. This really ruined our evening, as a social dinner party oh could not even talk. If I wanted to go to a bar or a club I would…. The bar man at the end come over to us and apologised for the music being so loud, and said the reason why was because the DJ was trying to impress a group of young girls near him. Maybe the DJ, should start at a later time, so people can enjoy their meal.

Outside seated little disappointed , After friends continually saying how lovely this restaurant was I booked for mine and my husband's 21st Wedding Anniversary , I booked online and it asked occasions I put 21st Anniversary , I had booked an outside table as the weather was due to be very warm , On arrival the inside of the restaurant was stunningly beautiful a DJ was playing and there was a great vibe , On us arriving the weather came over really dark , I asked the person at the front desk if we can be seated inside as it was due to rain , He said no , We was shown to seats outside which was a disappointment compare to the ambiance and decoration of inside this restaurant it was no carried on to the outside , The drinks menu had grease marks on them and the Knife and Folk water marked which I cleaned before using , There was multiple tables inside empty the whole time we was there .It started to rain and the staff closed the top cover over our heads , We had our order taken quickly I ordered the salmon and my husband lamb chops we was not asked if he would like to change rice to chips or any extra items and within minutes our starters arrived (possibly pre cooked) our mains arrived shortly after , All staff that attended us were very matter of fact not really any customer rapport no mention of any special occasion what we was there for and we asked for bill and left feeling very flat , Our table was booked 7.30 and we left at 8.45 that's how quickly our meal went. Personally yes I would recommend this restaurant for ambiance if seating inside its very good for Social Media photos etc

Unfortunately not able to review much as very few dishes suitable for vegans which is unusual for Turkish restaurants. I had a salad with houmous- both very nice, but I had to swap out cheese on the salad for houmous. Nice decor, nice staff. Please add some vegan options!!

Very expensive soft drinks, £3.40 for a small soft drink, less than a can. Also a member of staff calling me and my family darling repetitively, found it quite patronising as she was half my age. Food was very nice.

Excellent service from our waitress, Chelsea, would totally visit again. Great recommendation for cocktail lovers.

Amazing service, drinks taken quickly and came to the table as quick. Food was unbelievable. Big appreciation to Chelsea for outstanding service. The man on the front desk was also amazing and the barmen were all next level!
