Precio razonable, gran ambiente y buen servicio.

Rude female staff member, we were given menus and asked to sit outside. Chose from the menu, which takes axwhile with a family. but when we went inside to order we were told rudely, we couldn't have food from the menu only the specials board. Why give us the menus in the girst place!. We left!

Came here for the second time yesterday. Our first visit was disappointing—the kiosk wasn’t open, and the food kiosk wasn’t selling coffee. We had also noted how extremely slow and unbothered the staff seemed, so it was unfortunate to return and be spoken to so rudely by a member of staff behind the counter. We went to get two teas from the kiosk, as it was finally open. The young man who took our order asked us to wait at the next window, so we did. We stood there for around 10 minutes, watching a girl faff around with the Mr. Whippy machine. I noticed no one was making drinks, yet the boy continued to take more orders, and a very long queue was forming. After the girl finally finished making one ice cream, she handed it to us. I corrected her and said, “Sorry, no—we’re waiting for two teas.” She abruptly replied, “Well, I’ve just been topping up the machine for ice cream and your tea is being made.” (It wasn’t.) I was taken aback by her tone and confused as to why she took such offense. I had simply and politely said we were waiting for tea. Or did she expect us to take someone else’s ice cream? She then shoved two tea bags into cups of scalding water and passive-aggressively handed them to us, sarcastically saying, “Here’s your teas!” Clearly, she has had no training in customer service, and it seems the staff overall need training in how to work in a fast-paced environment. Summer is coming, and I dread to think what it will be like if the staff are still faffing about making one ice cream while the person on the till can’t multitask.

Lovely spot, nice friendly staff, good food selection and good food. Not too busy, happy with dogs. The only place to eat on West Wittering beach and it does a good job.

Felt Unwelcome Visited Saturday night fell very short of expectations. Booking a table was frustrating from the outset. Their recommended online system initially didn’t work, so I emailed them directly. They responded the next day, stating they had no record of my attempt to book, but offered no help to make a reservation manually. I left a voicemail when I couldn't get through by phone (the recording said they were closed Friday night), and emailed again asking for a table for Saturday. I eventually managed to secure a booking myself online for 6:45 PM, but at no point did the restaurant confirm this by phone or email. On Saturday afternoon, we visited in person to check that our booking existed — it did — but again, no explanation or apology was offered for the lack of communication. I asked if we could come at 7:00 PM instead, but was told firmly that 6:45 PM would be "better." We arrived at the appointed time, were seated promptly, and given menus — and then we waited. After 35 minutes with no attention, I asked the man at the door if someone would take our order. He responded dismissively that someone would "be over." Eventually, a very pleasant server came to take our order, and drinks arrived around 10 minutes later. The food, once it came (an hour after sitting down), was fine — no complaints about the quality. However, nobody checked in to ask if the meal was satisfactory. When I asked the manager, Sean, about the brand of Kombucha, he said it was by Johnny Wilkinson. When I looked puzzled, he seemed surprised that I didn’t know the former rugby player had a wellness brand — a strange and slightly patronizing exchange. Overall, the management and front-of-house attitude was indifferent at best, and at times outright dismissive. They seemed uninterested in whether we had a good experience or if we might return. Sadly, the location — with few other dining options nearby at Chichester Marina — seems to allow them to get away with poor service. We left feeling unwelcome, as if our presence was an inconvenience rather than valued custom. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this restaurant, and will not be returning.
