We headed down to the Witterings at the weekend for a trip to the beach and stopped in at the pub afterwards. We sat outside where they had a great DJ playing and ate pizza from their great little cabin. We had a lovely afternoon and will definitely be back

Hate writing bad reviews but here goes. We arrived for drinks and food but sat out the back in the wonderful beer garden. While I will admit it was busy there were empty tables full of glasses. We ordered 4 pizzas along with fries and dips from the outside area the staff were great. Went to the bar to get drinks and the chips arrived. Waited over 20 mins and the chips were stone cold and the smallest about for the money you paid. They arrived in a small box which was barely half full. I went inside to let the bar staff know they were cold and no pizzas. I will say at this point the pizzas are cooked to order and were well worth the wait this i understand. I would not usually take to trip adviser but the lady (blonde curly hair) was very rude and told me that I shouldn't expect chips at the same time as pizzas as they come from different kitchens. Sorry but would ecpect it to be usual for food to arrive somewhat at the same time. How is anyone to know the kitchen problems. Even a few minutes after of before but 20 mins before to be left getting cold is not good enough. There should be a better system in place. Thus seems a long post about a cold very small portion of chips its more about the ladies attitude !

After a substandard experience on our previous visit, we decided to give it another go and with our knowledge that only pizza and nachos were available in the garden, sat inside for a proper meal. The restaurant was fully booked but we asked to sit in bar as we had two dogs with us. We were welcomed into the bar and presented with menus. The menu was varied and the specials board had some seasonal options. The lady who served us was lovely and bubbly and very accommodating, Food came out and was delicious, they even made a half portion of the prawn linguine for my pasta loving son which was appreciated. Overall a far better experience than we had on our last visit so I guess the lesson is, if you want a good meal and great service, sit inside. Still a bit of a shame as the garden is huge and it would be great to be able to enjoy the food outside in the Summer.

Simply really good! London Pride excellent, Burger excellent (and the BEST chips!!), good wine list sensibly priced, and the atmosphere was cheerful and enjoyable even on a very wet weekday lunchtime!

We visited the Anglesey Arms a couple of time on our stay in the area. Each time the staff and food were great and we had a great time there. The menu offered a great selection and there was also a good selection of beers and wine on offer also. Would definitely recommend

Very disappointed in my Scrambled egg on brown toast, the egg had no taste very pale done in the microwave, and water on my plate made my barely toasted toast wet and soggy. Great pleasant staff. Service good but unfortunately the breakfast was horrible.

We often visit this Greggs whilst shopping in Chichester as their sausage rolls are the best. As I don’t drink dairy milk, in the past I’ve always had soya in little cartons. My husband asked for oat milk (my favourite) and to my pleasant surprise Greggs now offer oat milk as an alternative. So my order was for an Americano with oat milk on the side. My husband also mentioned “on the side”. This is because I don’t take much so need to add it myself. So when the lady served an Americano with oat included (frothed up, yuk) (Since when does an Americano have warm frother milk in it?) I said, no I ordered oat milk on the side. Stroppy cow said she didn’t hear that (we said it twice) and that anyway they don’t serve oat milk on the side. So I’ve paid for a coffee that I can’t drink as it’s too milky. I really expected her to say “sorry madam, let me do another one for you”. I mean, for the sake of customer satisfaction, just pour it away and serve me what I’ve asked for! Is it too much to ask to have oat milk on the side? This is a first for us. Every other coffee establishment we visit serves it cold, and on the side when asked. She has no customer skills at all. A right stroppy cow. We were disgusted.

We love this cafe for hot drinks and treats. We haven't tried their food menu but it always looks good. We like their hot chocolate menu, today drinking classic hot and Terry's orange - both lovely. Our other favourite is the milkshakes. Small so does get busy.
