The best restaurants serving Default food in Midhurst Chichester South East

Food very good and staff very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this cafe shop to anyone visiting Midhurst. You should be prepared to wait as very popular.

A few yrs ago I had a steak out in a restaurant, it wasn’t good and put me off. Today whilst shopping I decided to give steak another go and I wasn’t disappointed, best steak ever. Best butchers around.

Collected a takeaway and brought home. Four dishes ordered, and three were inedible. Lamb madras was old, dry and rock hard lumps of meat in watery sauce. Chicken shaslik was dry and tasteless. How can you make a garlic naan soggy and burnt at the same time?? We rang to discuss with the manager and he was defensive, arrogant and belligerent. No apology, no offer of a refund, zero interest in keeping a regular customer. What a shame. Never going back. GO TO MEGHDOOTS IN PETWORTH… better food, nicer people!

Very disappointed that the owner has not placed any wheelchair access here. The host told us the owner has not gotten around to that yet.

Just so delightful, we sat in the sunshine - such a surprise. The children chose from a large selection of ice cream. We were all very happy.

I am a regular at Gartons with both friends and grandchildren. The food is very good and everything is freshly made. They know my drink without having to ask and ALL the staff couldn’t be more helpful when I have the grandchildren with bringing me a high chair or helping me out with the pushchair. Gartons is my go to cafe in Midhurst for the friendly relaxed atmosphere, good food and lovely staff..

We had booked to visist for a lunch time meal on our wedding anniversary. We had a lovely chat when we booked and looked forward to it. However, when we turned up we were told that the restaurant was closed! The member of staff did apologise but made no effort to find out what had gone wrong and we were left to find an alterntive venue. Not happy!!

Perfectly located at the end of our South Downs Way section. Enjoyed an amazing mozzarella toastie, lemonade, flapjack and delicious coffee. Picnic benches in the outdoor courtyard were perfect for a sunny day and here we spotted bicycle pump and tools. Altogether a wonderful experience and we look forward to visiting the next cafe at Upwaltham.

Take Away - Delivery. Disappointing in the time taken to deliver - told 40 mins - in fact 90 mins. Food not hot. Hope hey can improve. Best wishes.

A great place to eat and chill. Staff really friendly. The food is good and has a varied and the portions are big. Had Chicken and chorizo paella which coned in various sizes. It was also very tasty and recommend it
