A long overdue revisit. Firstly I love the location. The welcome is great, but best of all is the food and drink – turns it into a wonderful place to be. The toasted sandwiches are labelled by cyclists - I had the Wiggo – kale, pesto, cheddar and onion chutney. Delicious! And the coffee was superb. Another part of the attraction is that I am really looking forward to being there again!

Was visiting family in Bognor and had to leave for home without breakfast. Had often seen this cafe signed from road. It is in a nice setting and easy to find. Nice outside area to sit too. I was desperate for food and remembered this was on my way home. By this time I was starving and drooling at the thought of a bacon buttie. l stopped and was really excited about my buttie. BUT I could not believe that by 11 am on a bank holiday Sunday morning they had run out of bacon. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I had to travel all the way to Midhurst before finding another place to stop and all I managed was a tasteless BLT from Tesco. Hope they managed to get some bacon for BH Monday.

A little gem situated just off the South Downs Way. Easy parking. Friendly, cheerful and efficient. I have driven past the “ cafe” sign so many times and said to myself that next time I drive past I will stop. Well this time I did stop and had two delicious bacon rolls and a very good cappuccino. Rustic, clean and friendly I will be calling in regularly from now on!

Big queue, but only one member of staff. He was friendly and working very hard, but simply couldn’t cope. We waited ages and others just gave up waiting. Would be 5 stars, but no while they’re so hopelessly understaffed.

Very friendly lady serving a good selection of casual eats and coffee - outdoor tables - parasols could have been useful this weather but all in all good for what it is.

Stopped here at the end of a tough day cycling part of the South Downs Way. The staff went out of their way to make sure we got everything we needed. Cakes and ice cream were amazing. We also returned the following morning so I can highly reccommend the breakfast as well!

Arrived at 1pm after 8 miles walking on the South Downs Way on one of the hottest days of the year. It wasn't marked on the guidebook we were using, so it was a very pleasant surprise as we descended the track. Lots of seating outside, the cold drinks and excellent ice cream much needed. Filled our water bottles up too. Toilet very clean. Noticed they also had a bike repair / track pump station in the courtyard.

Really friendly and helpful staff, tasty homemade sandwich (big enough to share), cake is lovely - fantastic place to stop after a walk along the South Downs Way, or just go because the cafe is there!

Stopped here, by chance, for lunch while walking from Amberley to Petersfield along the SDW. Was met with a friendly smile, great service throughout, super food and excellent coffee. I sat outside and everything was brought to me (admittedly they weren't busy). If you're walking this section of the SDW or simply travelling round the area, stop here for a snack or drink.

Stopped here for coffee and cake, the cake was great but didn’t get a full cup of coffee. As it was passed to me I did ask for it to be topped up and she added possibly another teaspoon of milk. I like a full cup of coffee and I’m sure most others do too

Stopped in this recently opened cafe (which is actually on the South Downs Way) for coffees and ice creams. Two lovely hosts, fantastic coffees (the best we had on a 4 day trip in may different establishments) and lovely ice creams too. Highly recommened.

Great location on the South Downs way providing really friendly service and very good coffee. The barn is beautiful with plenty of outside seating. It is accessible from the south downs way or from the A286 road with a car park nearby. I look forward to having some food there soon.

What a find! We just had a lovely tasty lunch after a beautiful 7 mile backpack across the south downs. Very welcoming helpful staff and the meal was amazing. Great value, the other food looked delicious too. Dog friendly. They were very happy to fill our drinking water bottles up which was very helpful. Toilets on site were super clean. We will return. Highly recommended.

We stopped for some refreshment after walking another section of the South Downs Way. A very welcome find with friendly staff. If we had known before we wouldn't have carried our lunch with us. Good luck!

I stopped off here after walking from Duncton Down, and then the South Downs Way. I had tea and a piece of Coffee Cake, both were excellent. I shall return.

Came here as we were staying in our campsite up the road. I had a high 5 smoothie and a breakfast burrito both days as the first one was so very good -super hot and Delicious-def would go back again and recommend and they allow dogs in too. My partner had the small breakfast and a latte -he said was great as he also had it the 2nd day 😁

the advert is incorrect. No hot food /soup/lunch. only cake coffee/tea. lovely setting bright and airy in the greenhouse

A very interesting cafe tucked away down a side passage to this whole food shop. Greeted by the aroma of tasty smells. Ideal for a coffee stop. There were many books and newspapers to keep one amused. There was a selection of healthy foods on offer but essentially I visited with a friend for coffee. No background music which is good as we had a good uninterrupted conversatiin.

Always great for different sandwiches at lunchtime and sausage rolls, I go regularly as the place is near me, always had and have friendly people working there
