The best restaurants serving Default food in Easebourne Chichester South East

A great Sunday lunch. We had the roast beef which was excellent with freshly cooked vegetables. Good service, comfortable seats and lovely atmosphere. Sure it’s at the top end of prices for a pub, but it’s worth the money. I felt the waiter and waitress really wanted us to have a good time.

Excellent country pub. Warm welcome, great surroundings lovely garden and food wonderful. Dog friendly.

Starting with the positives. Friendly staff, clearly a talented head chef and kitchen team, complimentary amuse-bouche (best mushroom/truffle combo I’ve ever had), lovely garden/outdoor area. The not so positives were the open walkway (it was raining) to the gents, the tiny entrance/bar area (which when sat at by regulars, makes it very cramped), completely running out of a very popular spirit (after just one drink), the pub’s signage needing renovation. All in all a nice meal out, but the experience could have been enhanced.

We had Sunday lunch here and it was all really good quality , home cooked food that we enjoyed immensely. Staff welcoming, a well kept bar and especially dog friendly. Sybil says “ hi” and we will all de returning.

Attended an evening function, plenty of Guinness Zero behind the bar for those driving. The dining ! What can I say, outstanding ! Compliments to the kitchen team. Roast beef with all the trimmings carved in front of you and the dessert, lemon cheesecake with sweet braised rhubarb- simply the best dessert I have ever had. Plenty of parking, light and spacious building. Perfect !

This place is always busy, which is a testament to how lovely the food is, the staff are super friendly and the prices are great. It's a lovely area to go for a drive and pop in here and have a really nice bite to eat, or even just to pop in to grab a nice hot our cold drink, definitely recommend. You can sit outside in the lovely weather or keep warm inside on a cool day.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Attempted to visit this pub for food after seeing the menu online and a food hygiene review in the window. Greeted by a bunch of farmers inside asking what we want, we said we were just waiting to see if food was being served. He said ‘nah no food at all here’ and the bar maid said ‘nope just crisps and nuts’ with an attitude, the other customers laughed us out the door. Very unfriendly, unprofessional and quite frankly rude behaviour from both staff and customers. Do not recommend at all.

This is probably one of the worst meals I’ve ever had at a pub. The food was luke warm/cold when it came out. The portions were tiny and the quality was horrendous. The worst part was the cost of it, it was way overpriced. They also then add a service charge on top! The service was ok. Don’t waste your time or money coming here.
