The best restaurants serving British food in Easebourne Chichester South East

This small complex on the Cowdray Estate just outside Midhurst comprises a cafe/restaurant, a farm shop and a couple of other small outlets. Food in the cafe is excellent, as is the service, but it can get busy. Lots of outside seating available. The farm shop is wonderful, if a tad pricy. Local cheeses and most of the stuff that you would expect in a high class delicatessen. The meat counter is outstanding, and their Cowdray lamb is just the best around. A pizza oven gets fired up later in the day. Wonderful walks abound in the park, including to the famous polo grounds. Lots of parking and picnic seating.

Great pub. Friendly service. Log fire is a bonus.

Dropped in for a Sunday lunch, no booking, no problem, lovely warm welcome, nice ambience, good menu selection, great quality, nice and quick service and altogether a really good experience an£ will definitely drop in again
