The best restaurants serving Default food in Chichester South Chichester South East

Looked quiet compared to the other cafes as it was nearly noon so thought it would be ideal for tea and pastie. Unfortunately after ordering our food and about to pay by cash, we were told they refuse to accept legal tender so we had to leave. I do ot understand why small business struggling to survive refuse custom with not accepting cash-still there loss and I assume will go bust

Really tasty chicken burger and the chips were also lovley but only one small pot of chips between two of us? We had about 5 chips each if your lucky! Would have expected a pot of chips each paying £28 for a takeaway? You would have got more for the same price at a top end pub in the area eating in. Can't fault the quality of the food though, and would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the small portion of chips between two people.

Go there every month with mates. Great pub with simple yet perfectly cooked 'Pub Grub' Great value for money. Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere from the min you walk in with a warm welcome and engaging staff. My wife and I enjoyed a very pleasurable few hours trying some of fav cocktails (delicious) but also new recommended ones. Each cocktail came presented in a unique glass with decor only adding to the experience, we will be back. Perfect start to a night before dinner

Popped in today on bh just to grab a take away coffee while my lunch was being made @ Apla Souvlaki (see my other review) Ordered a black coffee while waiting by the till a waitress wanted to come past with plates of food so I moved out of the way and was told "you can stand there" I was out of her way but not standing over anyone sitting. Anyway had to stand basically over to ladies eating there lunch which felt abit difficult, no apologie from the waitress. Then when it came to pay for my coffee I was told they only did large for takeaway i didnt ask for large (no sign for this) Paid £3:50 for the black coffee high price even for chichester. I thanked the server and left. I wouldn't call the waitress rude however the "tone" was wrong and I would go else if someone suggested to go there. Had a nice looking selection of cakes and the coffee was a soild 7 out of 10

A very interesting cafe tucked away down a side passage to this whole food shop. Greeted by the aroma of tasty smells. Ideal for a coffee stop. There were many books and newspapers to keep one amused. There was a selection of healthy foods on offer but essentially I visited with a friend for coffee. No background music which is good as we had a good uninterrupted conversatiin.

Elysia took good care of us!! Will be coming back again :)

I don’t like to write a bad review but we did not have a great experience here compared to our previous visits. The staff were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived and our drinks were ordered and served very quickly, however our food took absolutely ages to come out, even though we were there very early in the evening when it wasn’t that busy. By the time the food did come out, the restaurant had filled up a bit more and there were a lot of tables with just drinks and no food. I felt sorry for the waiting staff so didn’t complain, but it wasn’t a great experience. When the food did come out, there was nothing wrong with it, but to be honest it was all quite average for what we paid. I always felt we had value for money when we’ve eaten here before, but it seems as if the prices have gone up but the quality of the food has gone down. None of this is the fault of the waiting staff, who were friendly and professional, despite clearly being under pressure due to the slowness of the kitchen.

Quería desayunar y vi que Fat Fig estaba cerca. Logró obtener una mesa sin reservar, pero sugeriría cambiarla cuando es probable que esté ocupada. La comida estaba en el lugar y hacen un gran macchiato. Tuvimos una muy buena comida. El personal de camarera es muy bueno - capaz de ordenar un café extra para mí por solo mis señales de mano. Puede ver por qué es muy recomendable por otros.

We visited the pub on Saturday afternoon during Pride. Unfortunately the barman free poured the 4 vodkas barely using a measure and each drink was about 5mm short. In did challenge him but he said they were good measures, I was barely 2 feet from him and own a pub, the measures were short. Unacceptable and it’s a student pub so ripping off students on a daily basis, must be raking it in.
