A very interesting cafe tucked away down a side passage to this whole food shop. Greeted by the aroma of tasty smells. Ideal for a coffee stop. There were many books and newspapers to keep one amused. There was a selection of healthy foods on offer but essentially I visited with a friend for coffee. No background music which is good as we had a good uninterrupted conversatiin.

Despite passing Manuka at least a couple of times a week we have never been in.We have always thought it was just a small health food shop, were we mistaken big time. Although the majority of the shop is is given to seeing health food we did not realise that there is a cafe at the rear. I had the Organic eggs benedict royale on homemade spelt muffin, it tasted amazing, My partner had the spelt pancakes, she agreed that it was also great. The cafe area also have a large selection of books to read whilst eating. The staff are friendly, whilst Manuka is not the cheapest place to eat in Chichester it has to be one of the best places to eat. I would really recommend Manuka.

This wasn’t there last time we visited the shop! It was a lovely surprise to find, had tea and a chia the latter wasn’t overly sweet which was nice. The beetroot chocolate cake was delicious. Service was really friendly.

Stopped by for a late breakfast plus tea, extremely welcoming, food quick to arrive and really good quality. Poached eggs cooked to perfection. I had a green juice which was delicious. The people serving were really nice which always makes a big difference to the experience :) I fully recommend to those who want a delicious and super healthy bite to eat , or a decent relaxed drink away from a busy Starbucks/Costa!

I’ve been here twice over the past week and to fault the place would be sinful, today I enjoyed the Tuna Nicoise and a delicious freshly pressed green juice, I think the photo says it all

Took my foodie sister-in-law here yesterday. We were the only food order there. Every other table empty bar one lady drinking coffee. We ordered at 2.05pm and the chicken salad arrived at 2.50pm. 45minute wait for a single salad. We only had an hour for lunch together and so we thought a salad would be simple. I understand that fresh food takes time but this was unacceptable. We had never been before. Nowhere on the menu or in the cafe does it state food takes longer than usual. I work and eat in Chichester a lot was so happy to find a lovely quiet cafe in town but that length of time isn’t justified. Sister was also violently ill straight afterwards and for the rest of the night - not sure it’s related but it seems a strange co-incidence.

My friends & I visit this increasingly popular cafe at least once a week. I was impressed at how busy it was yesterday (15th),however; i felt for the overstretched small kitchen, who at the time of our initial visit at 12:15 ( we returned when it had calmed down), were in receipt of about a dozen large orders. There was the customary, impatient muttering of 'Where's our food'. Good food, cooked to order, takes time. My friends & I will continue to use Manuka, because we appreciate quality, VFM & the friendly welcome & service we get..👍

Really love the idea of this cafe. The coffee is good, everything is organic, it’s great. What does let it down is the service from the kitchen, it really is too slow. The wait for food is longer than it should be, so allow a good amount of time if you’re going for lunch.

Discovered this little place at the back of the health food shop. Good coffee, poached eggs on smashed avocado and sour bread. Ideal for brunch. Has a little courtyard too.

Travelling is hard on your tummy so it was a real joy to stumble on this who E food store and discover a cafe at the back I serving wholesome grub. With even an outside area and a small but fresh daily menu I had my first real sale made fresh. Lively back ground music and the shop for afterwards to buy some lentils and I was a happy traveler.

I visited the café on a friends recommendation, I was not disappointed. The Café is small, very clean and welcoming. The menu is small and a variety of organic, vegetarian, and healthy meals, all freshly cooked to order. Orders are taken and paid for at the till, then bought to the table. I was offered different types of bread for my toast, and milk to go with my drinks. I had poached eggs with salmon on Sourdough bread. Really good. My companion had a chicken salad with Quinoa, thoroughly enjoyable. Service was excellent and we were never made to feel we had outstayed our welcome. The café is small, but very popular, so book if able. Definitely worth a visit.

Came here as we were staying in our campsite up the road. I had a high 5 smoothie and a breakfast burrito both days as the first one was so very good -super hot and Delicious-def would go back again and recommend and they allow dogs in too. My partner had the small breakfast and a latte -he said was great as he also had it the 2nd day 😁

A long overdue revisit. Firstly I love the location. The welcome is great, but best of all is the food and drink – turns it into a wonderful place to be. The toasted sandwiches are labelled by cyclists - I had the Wiggo – kale, pesto, cheddar and onion chutney. Delicious! And the coffee was superb. Another part of the attraction is that I am really looking forward to being there again!

Always great for different sandwiches at lunchtime and sausage rolls, I go regularly as the place is near me, always had and have friendly people working there
