Corriander Leaf in Chichester

Just got delivery from Coriander Leaf and not a bad word to say. Portion sizes were very generous and the food itself was lovely. Definitely recommend.

I love the pizzas here but the curry is not the best.

I was in Chichester for around 2 weeks, Indian being in search of Indian food went to India Gate or Masala City or The Old Cottage (all 3 Indian dine in), I am afraid but only this place had Indian taste and superb dal tadka. You can also try vegetarian biryani and Garlic Naan. Just wow. (Though the cafe is run by people of Bangladeshi origin but the taste will surely satisfy your Indian spicy taste buds; and yeah do ask them to make your dal spicy or else you may won't like it)

The coriander leaf is by far one of my wife and I's favorite places to get a Friday night take away from. The curries are always cooked to perfection (English variable of perfection 🤣) and are packed full of flavor, chicken is always tender and just pulls apart and the sauce is incredibly creamy. I would highly recommend, they always throw in a bunch of papadums, onions, chutney for free also. Nice, quick delivery and good food!

Two take aways in February, one a delivery. Perfect service - watched them cook - it’s brilliant! The food - the very best Indian food we have tasted in a very long time. Outstanding thanks, forget all the rest !!

I've been ordering here for years. The food is bit of a hit and miss. Sometimes the curries are nice, flavourful and savoury as they should be. Other times, the food is bland and lacking in flavour and spices. It can also take a while when ordering for delivery it can take a while (minimum of 45 mins to an hour) which is really frustrating when you're hungry. So for this reason I can't give a good rating. Worth a try if you're looking for an Indian takeaway and willing to wait for AGES for your food.

I had the mixed tandoori and I have no idea how they made profit on this, it was easily enough for 2 people and the also gave me free onion bhaji and poppadoms. The food itself was cooked perfectly and 10-10 tasty. Excellent value.

Fast delivery, lovely food, great service and even the delivery driver was polite. We have become regulars.

Over-charged by 20% on my order. Called up assuming this was an honest mistake. Was informed that this was because of a recent menu change, despite the menu being the same, and that telephone orders were charged more than online orders (despite the menu being the same). Clearly doesn't make sense - plan on avoiding.

Ordered a takeaway to be delivered last night. They were amazing on the phone, super helpful and delivery was prompt. The delivery guy was polite and friendly. And the food arrived very hot and was sooooo tasty. Best Indian we've had in a long time!!! I highly recommend x

Needs to improve to get a jump in stars. Jalfrazi: too many onions (too sweet), too oily, too salty (solution plumped chicken breast 'cheapest'), No coriander, no peppers , not enough green chillis. No Hygiene ratings visible. Master this basic classic, and get 4 stars , may be add a special bay leaf wink if you love it . Wishiwashy , 2 stars , which ends my ephemeral affair with Coriander Leaf.

I’ve order from Pizza Box as i have received a leaflet from Coriander Leaf last time i’ve ordered with them. Delivery took more than an hour, ordering took almost 15 minutes, food was really bad. Garlic bread tasted weeks old, the kebab instead of pitta bread had a naan bread and loads of onions though i requested no onions and the pizza didn’t taste too great either with more than enough onions. Also, i asked for a coke zero and i got a regular one. Never going back.

This is by far the best Indian takeaway in Sussex I've discovered so far, and I've eaten from over 30 chains. The food is tasteful, the sauce is thick and doesn't leave a puddle of water on your plate. I eat here at least 3 times a week. Delivery is always spot on, food is always hot and the staff are very helpful. Unlike a place called "curry house" in chichester that took 2 hours to deliver me a watery, stone cold curry that had no flavour what so ever. 5 *

Absolutely terrible, got sent two curry’s with raw chicken, when I called to complain the guy on the phone told me it’s not he’s fault or the chefs it’s because they’re busy. I explained how ridiculous that was and told him I’m not paying for raw chicken can he send my money back (not for side dishes) he said no he’ll send more curry’s. VERY disgusting service

Very poor indeed. Curry looked like it was floating in engine oil and chicken was only just cooked. I won’t be returning!

Do you like casual Friday night food? Then this is the place for you Aromatic curries and food that will blow your taste buds away. I highly recommend this fine establishment.

Food arrived on time, and was very tasty. Delivery driver was perfunctory, but polite. Overall, not the best indian in the world, but very tasty and I would use again!

Delivery was late, starters and side dishes and rice were really nice! The Curry had far too much oil, I tried draining it but there was still lots. I will order again as I'm hoping it was a one off, but please Corriander Leaf.. don't put so much oil in as it spoils the flavours.

Very nice meal. Could have been hotter but this is Chichester, almost imposible to get from A to B in any reasonable timescale.

The order was one hour late. It took three phone calls before the restaurant finally admitted they made a mistake/ forgot our order. When the food arrived it was cold. Saturday night ruined.

The food quality and taste was excellent, the best curry I've had in a long time. The collection was delayed by 10 minutes but the staff were very apologetic and compensated me with a free portion of onion bhajis. I will definitely order from here again!

Great food, each curry had its own flavour, just as they should do. And the Tikka really was marinaded! It was delivered exactly on time. Will be using them again based upon this great experience.

Took 1hr 40mins to arrive norally get it in in anput 40nins. Had to call and sounded like they forgot about it. Food however was really good and full of flavour.

Chicken was kind of pink in the middle of some pieces. And I have felt quite poorly after the last few orders I've done. So I won't be ordering again.

Sadly not as good as other Indian takeaways in the local area, very oilly and lacking in taste. We won't be ordering from here again.

Absolutely disgusted with our food and service we ordered chicken korma, tasted vile but never had a problem before, we rung up for a refund and they refused and said they would only send us the chicken korma not all the other food we had ordered and had the korma poured over, so we rang back again and they weren't polite at all but I insisted I have my money back, made me wait half an hour for someone to call us back and then another half an hour for our money to be returned will never be ordering from here again

Prepacked food delivered in a sealed plastic container. Had to peel the plastic film off the top. Ordered a lamb korma, but did not receive this. Probably best to avoid this place!

Disgraceful!!!!! Even delivery driver advised us not to order from them!!! Only given one star because you can't submit review without it!!!

Ordered on line to pick up at designated time, only when we arrived at that time to collect food, the order sheet was sitting there unprocessed, so had to wait forthem to get it ready! Quality of food was however good!

Love the coriander leaf, a drop in the start is unusual for them, nann was very doughy. unfortunate you can't combine orders with pizza as I would have order 2 pizzas for the kids.

Great tasting food arrived hot and we enjoyed it very much.

Good, food is very mild though, and creamier and cheesier than their equivalents in other takeaways. It wasn't quite what I expected but I'm pleasantly surprised. It's a lot less greasy than other takeaways too. Also staff are very friendly, and happily corrected a mistake for me when I called up.

Late and better food available elsewhere, don't bother try green chilli instead!!!!!

The last 3 times we have ordered from here they have been over 30 minutes late, no follow up to let us know, had to call to find out what had happened with our delivery. Food is good however there are other takeaways that are equally as good that can deliver on time so will be using them in the future

Reasonably priced and Super quick delivery but was just a little disappointed with the food, it just seamed like it had been microwaved and the chicken was not of a very high quality.

Usually order from these all the time.. But tonight was no good..onion bhajis undercooked, naan bread was really tough, found gritty bits in my curry aswell, and the rice was really dry and seemed like it had been left out for ages. Not impressed and will not be ordering from here again. Very disappointed.

Earlier than expected but fine. The contents had leaked through the paperbag and was seeping into the plastic bag which was annoying.

Food arrived 1h 10min after ordering stone cold

Delivery took around an hour and a half. Food was alright but there were hard crystal bits within the curry. No apology for lateness.

Ordered food at 4pm then get a phone call at 4.45pm to say the delivery driver is running late...they should have phoned me as soon as they accepted my order! I had to cancel as they said it would be with me at half 5 but was going out to work so would have been too late. If they actually phoned me when they accepted my order at 4 I could have got food elsewhere but because they left it until later to contact me it was too late to order other food so had to go to work hungry. Terrible service and completely disorganised will not be ordering from then again!

Chicken passanda was good but far from impressive

I phoned three times to chase the order, and ended up collecting the food 1hour and 20minutes after ordering! The guy gave us a measly can of coke as compensation. Not happy! Specially since we live 5minutes away! More drivers are needed on a Friday night, and they should have let customers know their order is going to take a while to be delivered. Also, a kebab meal is not a kebab and chips (in separate containers, as you'd expect from reading it), it's a small meat and chips, pretty misleading.

I only gave 5 stars for the food quality because the roshuni didn't have any lamb in it, only chicken which was disappointing, other than this, the quality and portion size was excellent. The delivery took 1.5 hours to arrive (but I appreciate it was Saturday night). Overall I was satisfied and I would order from them via this app again.

All excellent and massive portions. 1 star lost just because the l'orange dish had too much oil in it,but it was very tasty none the less

Took 1hr 50mins to arrive, and wasn't really worth the wait. Very average, curry had a distinct microwave feel to it.

Unfortunately it wasn't great. 1st time here and last time. Sundries were ok though it says when you spend £10 you get freebies but I'd already ordered a poppadom and mint sauce so instead of getting extra.free I just got what I ordered along with onion bhaji which were ok and a pot of onion salad. Masala looked like a microwave meal and smelt weird very off putting. Rice was fine though I found a what looks like eyelash but could be anything in my food! Didn't enjoy it after that.

Like dog food, madras and pilau rice tastes like it had been cooked in the microwave.

Meal was great, only glitch was they forgot 1 item in the order...

Absolute joke sent the delivery driver to Selsey when I'm in lavant then when I called to question them he put the phone down on me. Poke it horrible gits won't be using them again.

Masod Ahmed who works in pizza box / curry house , stole my card details and ordered thousands of £ of goods with john lewis and house of fraser , I tracked it dow with ip addresses and got issued cctv of him ordering the goods in a car park in aldingbourne , the staff there were not very helpful in me trying to resolve the issue and would not give me the names of the people who were working that day , In the end I gave the name and then they spoke in their own language and then said to me how you know his name . I recorded the whole conversation I had with the staff . sorry to say but the pizzas that took over a hr to arrive which was meant to cost £26 ended costing me a hell of a lot more . highly suggest not using them !!!! if you do use cash and do not let them have your card details !
