The best restaurants serving Default food in East Brighton Brighton and Hove South East

Mi novio y yo estamos visitando Lewes de vacaciones y tomé un par de cafés matutinos muy sabrosos de Ground Coffee House. El barista que me atendió (creo que se llamaba Theo) fue muy amable para conversar y brindó un excelente servicio al cliente.

I've had a couple of kebabs from these guys, usually ordered online, only once in person in the store (which is cash only). I'm not quite sure what their job/role division system is but it's always the same delivery driver but I guess he's not got petrol money every day as they did reject an online order on a random Tuesday evening. Food has been top notch every time I've eaten from them.

Lovely pub with good atmosphere. Lovely man behind the bar and everything was really clean and tidy. Can also get food from neighbouring restaurants which is great perk.

Vinimos a tomar una copa el miércoles 4, pero terminamos quedándonos para el examen. Solo había un miembro del personal detrás de la barra (un joven con el pelo castaño corto) y estaba muy ocupado, pero él nos cuidó a pesar de todo y nos lo pasamos muy bien! La comida también olía y se veía fantástico 😋 Sin duda volveré

Rude staff using a fork lift in outside area without wearing a high visible jacket. When approached a member of staff just said the would improve later. So left .

Quite possibly one of the nicest flapjacks I’ve ever had! I was very surprised when I found out they were home made! Beautiful little place to stop off to break up your hike. Lovely service, and again, the flapjacks 👌

Habíamos estado esperando por bastante tiempo por la comida y notamos que otros recibían papas fritas de otros lugares, así que hicimos lo mismo. El personal no dijo nada así que comió y pidió algunas bebidas. Sin embargo, había una familia a nuestro lado que terminó siendo echada por un hombre vil que dijo que él era el gerente. Primero habíamos notado una camarera miserable que creo que tenía un problema con la familia. Primero pidiéndoles que movieran una bicicleta que no era un obstáculo para nadie. Una familia encantadora. El niño pequeño quedó reducido a lágrimas. No volveré nunca más. Muy mal servicio al cliente. Nunca he visto nada igual

Double cooked chips in a well folded paper cone, ice cold crispy gherkin and just the right amount of mushy peas. If you’re in kemp town and fancy some chips, this is the place (plaice).

Horror customer service can’t even deliver food right they must be stupid, don’t pick up the phone to paying customers. So awful do not buy from here.

This used to be our go too place for fish and chips and a bottle of fizz. We visited Tuesday lunch and all I can say is what an absolute rip off the place has turned into. I had a jumbo cod with a salad 🥗 and the Mrs had wholetail scampi. The cod was the size of a senior citizens lunch meal deal and was served with a salad that you would not even get as dressing as for the whole tail scampi and a ridiculously small portion of chips along with a small portion of mushy peas and a bottle of champagne 🍾 that could of easily had the label changed from a bottle of cheap sweet cava for the grand sum of £78.00. What is understand they have overheads this meal was absolutely the biggest rip off I've ever had. For an average of £10.00 per person any of the other fish and chips shops around would be a better choice. Yes I understand it is not cod or haddock but at least you get a sizable portion of both fish and chips for £20 which did not even cover the price of the so called jumbo cod. Avoid at all costs and use the other shops.

Fish and chip meal deal and a veggie burgher. Both nicely cooked and the chips weren't soggy. Happy with that.
