Horror customer service can’t even deliver food right they must be stupid, don’t pick up the phone to paying customers. So awful do not buy from here.

Like a lot of Whitehawk, it's a bit shabby and seen better days but it's what we've got and I'd rather have something than nothing (like Moulescombe)

Food is not good,...I get it, times are hard, but for goodness sake reheated, refried food. Chips, from God knows when, refried. Chicken balls refried, its obvious!!! The spare ribs were nice, the curry was pretty thin. Overall incredibly creasy and people were not able to finish or even eat half. It's really sad, because they are lovely people and the place has potential. Sometimes the food is OK, but fried food seems to be really creasy and refried leftovers.

First time eating from here, we got the set menu C for 2 people, it was the best set menu I’ve had in ages! great variety, very generous portions and really delicious classic chinese takeaway food! My favourite was the barbecue ribs , i usually choose other things for my starters but these were the best ribs I’ve ever had, really meaty, soft, juicy and tender, couldn’t get enough of them ! The man at the counter was very friendly too and the food was made quickly and served hot. Would recommend eating here to anyone ! 😊

What an experience this restaurant was we got the 2 people set menu chuffed and excited we spent our time waiting for the food in the bookies next door (couldn’t imagine a better way to spend my time) after betting £80 on the horses and winning a surplus of £24 i saw it as a sign of great fortune seeing as it paid for our meal here will certainly be coming back the food wasn’t bad either. Scoffed it down in a whopping 3 minutes couldn’t have been happier

Ordered a special fried rice which was called something else on the menu food was hot but tasteless brown rice with little to no meat pancake roll or spring roll had nothing inside just a roll of pastry won’t be going back and i’m local to this shop

Revolting quality food, a own brand supermarket ready meal tastes better than this. Also overly rude and aggressive delivery driver. Will never order from here again.

One of the worst takeaways I've ordered, placed online via the website for delivery. We ordered kung po chicken, massaman chicken curry and boiled rice . The Kung po looked and tasted ok but the massaman was horrendous, only had chicken with sauce. I've eaten this dish in many places including in Thailand and Cambodia. This dish was missing all the ingredients, no onion, no potatoes or peanuts. Didn't taste right either. What topped the experience was being told off by the delivery driver after they tried delivering it to the wrong house as they didn't read the delivery receipt correctly. I can confidently say I won't be ordering from here again.

Food taste was v bad, i order chane and naan but it was waste of money

The chap behind the counter was very friendly and polite. Chow Mein was decent and the crispy shredded beef was lovely. Having lived in China for 3 years as an Expat, I'd say this is a good representation of Chinese cuisine. Decent portion size, friendly service and quickly cooked. Would recommend.

It’s such a shame as drove across to this establishment as on the past it has been good. The man taking our order was very moody, unsmiling and blunt. Food was nothing like it used to be either, but that’s for others to decide. But it’s not right to make customers feel uncomfortable and nervous to ask about the menu. I’m so disappointed and shocked. Ruined Saturday nights meal to be honest as the food was very strange tasting.

Will give them 4 stars.I ve had crispy noodle mixed roast meats. £7 I paid well thats cheap.I didnt expect much for the price tho and it all was there I had decent meal yeah I could have wished for more but not for price.Cant say it was great and cant say it was bad you get what you pay for.Only thing I didn't like that noodles vas a bit burnt

Not nice, firstly the order was wrong and when I told the restaurant they told me they gave me the right order, Singapore noodle I ordered they gave chow main and told me that was Singapore noodles. The chicken balls were over cooked and greesy and the prawn crackers were stale. Needless to say they were not prepared to fix the order. Not an enjoyable experience better off going to Saffron down the road.

Having tried countless Chinese take aways since living in Brighton and hove, I’ve been dissatisfied countless times. Asia chef is the best I’ve had yet! The food arrived hot and quickly the prices weren’t bad and the food was yummy! Chicken was fab no gristle at all! And the batter was cooked through, unlike some that are soft or soggy. Only critique is that the rice could have slightly more flavour.

Don’t waste your money. Spring rolls just a huge lump of batter, salt and pepper squid was tasteless, and the curry sauce covered in oil!

I had an awful experience pancake rolls made from thick batter not Filo pastry dripping in oil house curry cold and full of oil. Chicken chow main again saturated in oil and not tasting good sweet and sour chicken balls swimming in oil .all the food was thrown away .I phoned Asia chef but not even an apology .will never go there again .worst Chinese food ever

Started going as they serve authentic oriental and South East Asian dishes; deep fried taufu (soya bean cake), Pad Thai (sweet nutty broad rice noodles) and variety of shellfish dishes; chilli squid, battered salmon in mustard lemon sauce, apart from the usual favourites. Furthermore service is efficient, friendly, competitive prices too.

Delightful lemon chicken and biggest spare ribs i have had well recommended.

Just found my new Chinese takeaway spot. Really good quality, nice & hot. Friendly staff. Highly recommend. Will be back very soon!

Extremely poor ordered beef chop suey there was 3 bits of beef very poor

Our family moved to cliff Road a few days ago, and tried to explore take away nearby. Discover Po Sung... and we are so lucky. Their food is definitely good. We ordered roasted pork, sweet & sour pork, stir fried rice noodle, etc. All are great.

Lovely family run Chinese takeaway, good food, reasonable prices and really nice owners, not sure why people have trouble "communicating" as there's no issues, you just have to listen and speak properly, if you're expecting gourmet food a "takeaway" isn't a place you should be expecting it, I have had better but I've also had a lot worse, it's only a small business and needs the support of the local community, pick them up, don't put them down.

Sorry, not a pleasant experience. The ribs were cold and the curry, (I ordered King Prawn curry), is about the worst I've every seen or attempted to eat. The only good thing was the small bag of complimentary crackers. I will not be going back and with respect to the Locals them must have no idea of what a good Chinese take away is like. I read the reviews after I bought this for the first time and was honestly shocked. They're all generally bad but I genuinely think this is the nicest Chinese I've had for a while! The chow mien may be slightly too dry but everything else is perfect. I've also read that the portions are too small too but I don't think this at all. I don't think it's very expensive compared to other places too. Had to write a review because I definitely don't believe it deserves the bad reviews it's been getting. Not sure if they have changed owner or anything but definitely worth going I bought chicken chow mien, house chow mien, egg fried rice, curry sauce (which is the BESSSST I've had), beef in black bean sauce, salt and pepper chips ... and given free prawn crackers.

Food was great service on reception very poor, communication was difficult and we didn't receive our rice which obviously is the main part of the dish although I read it to the receptionist twice and she confirmed the order, that cost around £50 with delivery charge of £5 they refused to send one out to us... Very poor customer service indeed.

i only ordered one item, spring rolls, they were the most DISGUSTING spring rolls i have ever had. each spring roll had about 3 tablespoons of oil in. i threw them in the bin.
