The best restaurants serving Default food in Victoria Ashford South East

I recently won a Latte Art masterclass at the cafe with Head Barista Nathan Cooper. What a fantastic experience. Nathan is an excellent, patient tutor with wealth f knowledge about all things coffee! He immediately made me feel at ease and I had a great time having a go at practising different creations. Nathan also showed me some of his artistic work, including a pegasus design. Thank you so much! I never realised there was so much skill in creating beautiful latte art designs.

I did order from this place before but for some reason it was along time ago. Decided to give it a go again and glad I did it . Very nice , fresh fish ! Good value for money , good customer service for sure will order again.

I felt like this lovely little tea room deserved a trip advisor listing of its own. It is 5* just like it’s sister tea room, but a lot smaller. This adds to its atmosphere and it’s like stepping back in time, with the decor and music. It is quintessentially English and a really enjoyable place to stop and have a little drink and a bite to eat. They do also offer take away, which would be handy for those people working locally. Lastly the staff are also the same high standard as we have got used to in The Little Tea Pot. See you again soon and keep up the good work! You make Ashford a better place!

Great food, never ever fails to be amazing.

Had lunch here today as one of my birthday treats and must say, food was delicious, service was great, very welcoming and friendly staff.. a true taste of Italy.. highly recommend and look forward to returning again soon 👍👍👍

Such a lovely bar and great addition to Ashford town. Always busy and great atmosphere. Great selection of drinks and banging cocktails.

An excellent Christmas lunch with friends - I'd heard good reports about the cafe at Ripleys Garden Centre and it didn't let us down. Delicious food, perfect portions, well priced and friendly, efficient staff. Happy to recommend and will certainly return.

We went to the restaurant which was meant to close at 10pm only to find out when we arrived (before 9pm!) that the kitchen may be closed. The man behind the bar was lovely and told us it should be fine and just tell the chef what we would like. Chef was so rude when we went to order and laughed at us saying ‘are you joking?’ Told us he was due to finish at 9pm (despite it saying 10pm) and refused to make anything we asked for and said that all he could offer was a sharing platter but even then he would be late off so wasn’t happy about making it. We felt so uncomfortable that we told him not to bother and just left. Won’t be visiting again or recommending. Terrible customer service!

Fantastic value. I've had breakfast here before when I lived in Ashford over a year ago, and the lovely lady remembered me after all this time - and she is just as warm and welcoming as I remember her. Thank you!

Really not a great meal. Such a shame. Has previously been much better. Quality of ingredients seemed lower and attention to detail on cooking was certainly lower. Shame as we’ve been coming here for a number of years.

Great range of local beers, didn't try the food but the short menu looks great (mainly burgers on the day we were there)

We came here for our anniversary on the 19th Feb, first time we have been here and we were not disappointed. Everything about the evening was a fantastic experience, lovely table by the window with plenty of space, service was excellent, our waiters, Jamie and Mark were both perfectly attentive but not too much, very friendly and professional. The food was superb, we had lots of dishes so we could try a bit of everything. The Chorizo al Vino and Empanadas were a great way to start, followed by the steak sampler, green beans, portobello mushrooms, Humita, and thick cut chips (hot, crispy and fluffy, perfect!). The steaks were the best we have had, excellent cuts of beef, well cooked, perfectly seasoned, melt in your mouth tender, nothing left on the plate when we had finished! All the food was hot, well seasoned and good portion sizes. We had the Flan Casero and Churros for dessert as well as a sharing anniversary "pre-dessert" (thank you!). Espressos to finish and that made this, without doubt, the best meal out we have ever had. Service was well paced but never felt rushed. We also had cocktails and a bottle of wine, both of which were excellent. We will definitely be coming back. Once again, many thanks, certainly our new favourite restaurant. Paul & Sue.

Every time you walk in this place you get greeted with a hello, food at your table within minutes of order, always hot and freshly cooked. Definitely recommend
