The best restaurants serving Default food in Marple North Stockport North West

The food is superb here and there is a great atmosphere. Sonny is very friendly. We all enjoyed our meals and will definitely return.

Very good in both summer and winter months. Great value food and at a very good standard. Very friendly too. Also have some events on with street food stalls which are excellent too.

Absolutely impeccable roast! Beautiful flavours, cooked to perfection. Very hospitable and friendly service. We visited with 2 children and the team were amazing thank you will be back

Traditional pub with a friendly atmosphere and good Robbies cask ales. Been many times on a Friday night when they have live music. Recently saw the excellent Still band play. They have a pizza van earlier which is a great idea. They show live footy and have quiz nights. All in all a great pub.

Well I really can't see what all the 5 star reviews are for. I can only assume the ones calling it the best place they've ever been to are fake. Either that or the people posting them have only ever eaten gruel and are mental. This place is bang average. If nowhere else was open, and I was desperate for a take away curry, then I still wouldn't order from here again. There are far better options in the area. Non of the food looked freshly cooked, just warmed up. My chicken was dry and tough, the rice looked second hand but the pakoras were nice. Staff were friendly enough and they were efficient but when I arrived to pick it up there was a young lad (delivery driver maybe) slouched on the couch on his phone making the place look untidy and unprofessional. I won't be returning.

Venue not as good as previous location. View over golf course wasn't very impressive.

Fitted us in on a Saturday night with a last minute booking. Lovely cosy atmosphere, incredible food and good portion sizes. The starters are a little pricey but the quality and flavour of the food is excellent.

Stopped off here on our walk yesterday we did'nt book but still managed to accomodate us. We only had starters as we were walking. But wow they were amazing! Will be coming back for a roast defo!

The king prawn with ginger and spring onion is without a doubt the best I've eaten, there is no equal to be found in this area. The egg fried rice was also of excellent quality. I've known the owner/manager Sunny for a great number of years, he manages a first class kitchen and offers a quality restaurant and takeaway service.The take away & restaurant food cannot be bettered. Consistently excellent. Great range of breads, cheese, deli hams & meats, all kinds of sauces, chutnies etc sourced locally & internationally. High quality wines reasonably priced. Superb coffee! Friendly, helpful staff. Consumate Delicatessen!

I went to this place for my dinner at work, she asked me do I want food or drink, I said a bit of both, she only turned round and said we don’t do any of that here you should go to the cafe down the road, this woman needs to learn some manners and good customer service skills, what a disgusting way to treat a customer to tell them we don’t make what you want without even knowing what I want.

Great country pub noticed lots of tradesmen drinking there and me being a tradesman myself we all like a good pint and that's what you get here. Landlord was a friendly chap. Will be going back when passing

Been there many times. The steak pies caught me out, poured over the board when cut. Wonderful taste after fingering the board. Only four dinky porks left. Far too salty ;-) .
