The best restaurants serving Default food in South Ribble North West

Booked in advance for a Sunday evening - asked for a quiet table which we got - food was fabulous & service was swift without being pushy. Great selection of dishes on the menu - pretty much something for even fussy eaters. Will definitely return. Portion sizes just right - we ordered 3 per adult. Sorry no photos as I do not photograph my meals!

The food is great, we really like the flavoured fish bites. Only the parking is rubbish.

A stop 5 mins from the motorway, best decision we made over a motorway services. The food was amazing, and the staff were unbelievably warm and welcoming. They were very accommodating to our 10 month old and the chef even came out to welcome us, check the food was all good with us, and even offered to take our toddler into the kitchen and let them cook. We 100% recommend this place and will definitely call in again.

Beautiful service, beautiful coffee, and beautiful cakes! I also enjoyed the conversation with the kind people who run this place. I absolutely recommend and will hopefully return in the future since I am from out of town.

Called into the Lemon Tree Cafe, while on a training day. Staff were polite and friendly and happy to serve us. Food was beautifully presented and tasty, you got a lot of food for your money, my friends bacon sandwich was loaded with bacon, and the sausages were gorgeous.

After reading the reviews, we tried this takeaway and we were not disappointed. We ordered special omelette, sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style, egg fried rice, chicken fried rice and prawn crackers all for £22.90. Our family including our picky 8 yr old and 4 yr old loved it. We also found our Chinese take away and will also try their fish and chips too. Takeaway boxes are not plastic which is a bonus!

I was told how good the food was at the hickory smokehouse in Hutton Preston, so i took my family out to try it. It was even better than it was described. Their brisket and ribs were cooked to perfection, and the brisket was smoked for 16 hours, making it super tender with a lovely flavour with the spice rub. The tater tots were the perfect side also. The staff were great and although very busy were always ready when needed and really professional. I am already planning on going again, and although it's a fair drive for me, it's well worth it. 👌 😋💯✌️
