Mum and me had breakfast here today (Friday 26th January) after hearing good things about Annie's kitchen and being Leyland resident's ourselves, how we were not aware of this little gem sooner is beyond me.A full English is one of my favourites, I had the large one and mum the smaller version and we were not disappointed, excellent food, well prepared and presented, top notch ingredients, obviously the proprietor has gone to great lengths to source the best suppliers and coupled with polite and prompt service in spotlessly clean surroundings, well what more can I say, I vote with my feet and i (we) will be back, Annie's kitchen is duly noterised as one of my GO TO places, thank you.

After reading good reviews about Annies kitchen, we decided to try it out. Everything that is said about the cafe is basically true. Nice staff, good fresh food etc; the one thing that is not mentioned is the fact that it is expensive for what it offers. The festive lunch is £18.95 for one course and with the exception of the turkey sandwich everything else is served in small pots. l feel this is way over the top. Will not be going back!

Great Little breakfast stop on our journey through Leyland. Excellent menu and great value for money. Busy little place with good reason.

An excellent cafe run by an exceptional owner Annie and staff. I’ve been here a few times now and always get an excellent service and piping hot food., with a great choice of coffees. Today I rang ahead to book a seat as I know the place is very busy. Service with a smile, food on the table within a few minutes all freshly cooked and tasted delicious. There’s not many cafes open 7 days a week and opens at 7:30am Monday to Friday, a great breakfast for the workers 👍 I don’t usually work on a Sunday though my job was only 10 minutes away so it was definitely a great stop for me 😊 I missed out on a great Medium last night ! Turns out Annie’s is open in the evenings for special events. Also I’ve read that the space may be let out to event organisers, it’s worth asking 😊 Highly Recommended 👍

Wow. Intimate. Cosy. Welcoming. I met a friend here for lunch on a weekday afternoon and I have to say that everything about our visit was superb. Staff were friendly and welcoming from start to finish. Even to the extent that the waiter apologised, thinking they had interrupted our conversation to take a drinks order. They hadn't but it was nice to see the level of courtesy shown to guests. The place was full and so it did get a bit loud at times, mainly in the comings and goings of elderly couples and young children, but nothing that ruined the experience. Service was swift, drinks arrived quickly and well portioned , especially the hot chocolate which I demolished. Food was simple, done well. I'm not sure if balsamic adds anything to a salad but the hot beef sandwich was superb. The portion of cake was almost as big as the sandwich! And tasty too. There's nothing particularly spectacular about Annie's Kitchen and so perhaps that's what makes it so spectacular. It just had this effortless charm that made you almost feel at home. I'd definitely recommend dropping in if you get the chance.

SO GOOD!! The outside of this place doesn’t do the inside, food and atmosphere justice. We popped in this morning (12/08/23) and we were instantly impressed with the interior and service off the girls that work there. We were served straight away and our drinks arrived within minutes.. (the iced lattes were amazing - easily as good as Starbucks) The food was then just as good and arrived promptly. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Found purely by chance as we had visited the nearby auction house . Went for lunch and I must say the presentation of the food was lovely. I had a delightful ciabatta with tuna and cheese. It was served with coleslaw, crisps and a pleasant side salad on a wooden plaque. My wife had a nice salad bowl with cous cous, feta cheese and a flatbread. We would certainly visit again if near by.
