Awesome afternoon tea with friends. Loved the balance of hot and cold food - the hot meat pies were devine, as too the mini fish & chips and soup . Really loved the assortment of cakes, which were so tasty and refined. It felt so personal and regional, as opposed to the generic offerings that some places provide. Congrats on an exceptionally well done Afternoon Tea! It was my first visit, but I will return again soon with family in tow to experience again!

Great little cafe. Bright and airy. Strong hot cappuccino. I had a breakfast butty. Good quality sausage and back bacon in a nice bun, served with two hot baby tomatoes and rocket on the side. About 8 mins from junction 29 M6 if you do not want to visit a motorway service station.

Be prepared to indulge in some yummy food. Everything was fresh and service was fantastic even when some extra guests turned up

Had a fab coffee and toast with my dog Tia who loves going in for her biscuit bone off Donna. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and is always busy. Food is exceptional. Nick is a fantastic chef. Would recommend going to everyone.

Happy bunnies was excellent to try the staff was friendly and helpful and management could not do enough to help me out the customer service excellent and the food was delicious to eat and came straight away from the kitchen table services was excellent excellent coffee made

What a gem of a place to stop off for a cuppa or lunch. We popped in for a cuppa and cake today after a long walk. The place was absolutely heaving. Mid-week just after lunchtime - that speaks for itself. The tea was hot and strong and served in china cups and saucers. The cakes were HUGE and very good value for money. There are so many options in this and surrounding villages that you are spoilt for choice but I'd definitely recommend Happy Bunnies! Staff are smiling all the time, friendly and make you feel welcome. The interior is beautifully done and every table is thoroughly sanitised before you are permitted to sit down. Well worth a visit.

This was a delightful and filling afternoon tea for myself and my daughter. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious hot food as well as the lovely selection of sweet treats! The afternoon tea here is very generous and so much so we were stuffed, didnt have space for an evening meal and still had food to take away from the afternoon tea as it was so much! Definitely recommend. Lovely hard working owners, a beautiful little boutique tea room.

A group of us went for a baby shower the other day, didn’t quite go to plan in some ways but not at all the fault of Bunnies in fact they couldn’t have been more flexible, they were fantastic! Great atmosphere, cute baby themed food which was so fresh and it was absolutely delicious. Really reasonable price too for what you get! All the staff are so friendly and the lady who owns it (I think ) is an absolute love. Literally couldn’t fault it!!Tens across the board.

Happy Bunnies provided catering for my 30th Birthday party, I cannot recommend them highly enough! They were so easy to deal with, great comunication and very accommodating. The food is excellent quality, especially the pies! They were able to provide separate gluten free boxes for a couple of my friends, they were delighted with the quality!

This is an amazing place, visited with my partner and 7yr old grandson.The food and service is fantastic.You get so much for your money and they gave us a box to take home what we couldn’t fit in, as we walked out my grandson said can we go next time i stay nanna, so a real winner for us.

Friendly classy cafe that's a cut above. Great ingredients well cooked and presented. Plus - when we visited - a centre for hot moms. Some very glamorous ladies when I visited - us going on to Southport was a mistake!

I ordered from a mixed grazing box for a 26th birthday. It was easy to order off Instagram & pick up from the shop. There was an amazing variety of food & the display was so pretty!We will definitely visit the cafe when we can & recommend Happy Bunnies to my friends. Thank you :)

I inadvertently arrived to pick up afternoon tea for myself and my friend at the recommendation of my niece, however due to a misunderstanding it was ordered from a rival, I acknowledge it was my mistake, however the attitude of the proprietor was extremely rude and if his intention was to intimidate me by slamming the door as I left he succeeded, I would have frequented this cafe in the future, however am unlikely to do so now.

The only word to describe this place...Perfect. The food tasted fresh and amazing. Haven’t written a review on anywhere in ages but thisplace really deserves one. Staff are friendly, helpful and quick to respond to Facebook messages. Highly recommend to anyone looking for premium quality produce at a very reasonable price. Best scone I’ve ever had. 5 stars

Super service and food. We preordered afternoon tea for two and it was ready after we got our drinks. Great service and very clean. The owner is constantly wiping the tables and chairs and has a good system in place. The food seems handmade and local and the coffee was great. The cheesecake was a major highlight. If you can book in you will have a good meal!

I ordered an afternoon tea for my husband and I during the lock down, as it was our anniversary. It arrived in two beautifully packaged boxes with an amazing selection of savouries and sweets. We even managed to enjoy the afternoon tea outside due to the lovely weather and it was honestly superb. This is a must-have treat, and highly recommended. Finally, they are obviously really popular and are busy doing lots of deliveries, yet it still arrived within the agreed time-slot. Thank you for a wonderful treat and we will be visiting in person when the lock down ends.

While the Covid 19 isolation rules are in place Happy Bunnies have been making up and delivering boxes, I ordered a Treat Box for my Daughter and Family and an Afternoon Tea for my Daughter-in-Law and family both were delivered within a couple of hours and were greatly appreciated and enjoyed. We went for lunch with two two year olds and four adults for Granddaughter’s second Birthday. Delightful small cafe and lovely menu. Service was prompt and friendly and the food was fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. We would visit again and wish them all the best in these challenging times.

Absolutely wonderful! My 4 yr old loved this event. The entertainerment - Elsa, Moana and Cinderella were absolutely brilliant and so lovely with the children, true professionals.The food was spot on as ever - french onion soup, sandwiches, cheese and tomato pretzel, chicken tikka stick, whist pie, crisps, scone with jam and cream, cake pop, meringue, biscuit, Madeleine and fruit punch with a further tea/coffee or cold drink. The childrensnpicnic was sandwiches, a hot dog, pizza, crisps, turkey dinosaur, cake pop, meringue, sweets and a fruit punch with a fruit shoot as well.Excellent value for money and quality food. One of the best afternoon tea's around.

I have been here lots of times and it is always lovely. It is a proper little local business and the atmosphere in the cafe is so friendly. The food is really good and it's a bit different to a traditional afternoon tea which makes it more interesting. I love coming here and will be back again soon! You can can BYOB too.

I have been here twice in the last month with friends for afternoon tea. You receive it on a little picnic bench (1 between two) and it’s just delicious. They cater for all dietary requirements nothing is too much trouble. The couple who have this are very friendly and you are always made to feel very welcome. It is beautifully decorated the outside does not do it justice. The food is all locally sourced and you can’t fault it. If you do happen to get full before you finish you are given a bag to take anything you have home. Definitely my favourite place for Afternoon Tea xx

I booked 5 afternoon teas at Happy Bunnies last Saturday. The array of dietary requirements we had was treated as no hassle at all which was just amazing (we had 2 veggie, 1 vegan and 1 gluten free - only one of the afternoon teas was ‘normal’). We were all so impressed that the quality and variety remained the same across all the afternoon teas and no one had a single complaint. It was so lovely to just be able to relax, and enjoy the food as it was all presented with confidence and a run through of what was what.

Me and my husband decided to visit Happy Bunnies for my birthday last week. We called up to book a table for afternoon tea when we were on our way and the gentleman we spoke to was very accommodating and booked us in. The service and food was amazing! You can clearly see a lot of thought has gone into the food, the presentation and attention to detail was brilliant! The gentleman that looked after us was running the place by himself, I don’t know how he did it but the service was second to none. We will definitely be back and will bring the children next time as we were so impressed! Thank you happy bunnies!

Such a lovely, relaxed environment with caring service. Catered wonderfully for all the dietary requirements (one vegan, two veggie, one gluten free and one omnivore) with attention to detail for each. At other establishments I've had veggie afternoon tea that has been bland and dull but not here! Each item had it's own unique flavours and was delicious. We weren't rushed at all and the service was exemplary. Great afternoon ✨

Went with a group of friends, two vegetarians, one vegan (me), one gluten free and an omnivore. The afternoon tea was amazing! We all had such a lot to eat and such care was put into the special diets stuff, with a good variety of flavours too (sometimes rare for vegan food!) Booked for a friends baby shower for afternoon tea. Right from the initial contact to payment on the day, the service was outstanding! On the day itself, the food was amazing and some of the sweets included were centered around the gender and the event itself! It was such a relaxed atmosphere with a delicious variety of sweet and savouries! The man who served us was fantastic. We will definitely return whilst on maternity leave! Thank you so much!! We hosted my sister-in-laws baby shower at Happy Bunnies and loved everything about this place! The food was amazing, a really great afternoon tea with a good variety of sweet and savoury items. The team were really accommodating even when we had to book another guest on at the last minute. We had the festive afternoon tea but will definitely be back to try the new menu!

The Happy Bunnies team did an amazing job at hosting my sister's baby shower. They serve very accomodating of all our requests, even when I had to add another guest on with half an hour to spare. Food was excellent and everyone commented on what great value it was and what a lovely atmosphere there was in the cafe. Can't recommend highly enough and will definitely be back soon!

Delicious Festive Afternoon Tea, like no other. What a thoughtful and varied Afternoon tea. We had been recommended Happy Bunnies Afternoon tea, as we are not fans of too many sweet treats. This was a great balance of so many different and festive savoury options with some great sweet treats too. Service was exceptional and the atmosphere welcoming and comfortable. We will back. I visited today with a few friends for the festive Christmas afternoon tea and it was all delicious. The service was perfect, so welcoming friendly and accommodating. My friend had chosen to have a salad beforehand as we had to pre-book and the owner even offered to make her up an afternoon tea there and then if she wanted which was really sweet. Everything was delicious and I’ll definitely be returning one day soon hopefully!

Festive afternoon was so tasty-great having a mix of foods not just the usual sandwiches and scones you often get as part of an afternoon tea.

Visited The Architect Restaurant in Chester with friends for lunch and as there were 12 of us we had a private room to ourselves. The meal was served well and the staff were really pleasant and helpful and friendly. The building itself deserves a mention too Fabulous old house beautifully furnished as a restaurant. Definitely recommend.

Went here for a quick lunch. The menu is a mix of lunchtime standards - jacket spuds , sandwiches and more interesting meals which include eggs doable or smashed avocado. They also have regular specials.

Found this little cafe by accident and stopped in to have a snack As it was near closing there was no hot food but settled for a drink and a cake. The food was excellent and the person behind the counter was very friendly

Love this place, really cute cafe with a great menu. Been twice with 2 different sets of friends and both times food was spot on. Afternoon tea with so much thought put into it. Had very small children with me both times and never had any issues with them being there (even after the mess they made) sorry!

My friend and I had a lovely lunch at this little gem of a cafe/tea room. We were made to feel very welcome. Our food was superb, I ordered homemade soup and a club sandwich and my friend had one of the deli boards. The food was fresh and delicious. This won’t be our last visit and we would recommend it as a great place for lunch or afternoon tea.

Went for an afternoon tea style brunch at Happy Bunnies and had quite a surprise with how it was served. Not what we’d expected - but much better! Presented like an afternoon tea with all sorts of little treats. Fresh orange juice, little jar of fresh fruit, little bowl of cereals, daintily served sausage sandwich, little croissant, little yoghurt, tea/coffee. Beautifully served on a wooden tiered stand. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Went to happy bunnies for afternoon tea with three of my friends. We absolutely loved it. There was a special menu on for the event and everything that was served was fantastic.

I held a party at the weekend and chose happy bunnies for catering, and I honestly believe it’s the best catering/food for a party I have come across. I am lost for words with the service they provided and the set up was incredible. Everyone at the party loved the food and there wasn’t a bad word said about it.

Great little cafe the afternoon tea is different from the norm and well worth trying I can understand why it received a recommendation from Lancashire Life. Good menu for breakfast or lunch and friendly staff.

We went for a belated Mothers' Day treat. The tea was delicious and very copious. They were happy give us a "doggy bag" too, although it was very tasty so there was little left!

Had lunch 21 of March, it was perfect. Lovely atmosphere, with friendly customer s and Staff. We are local, we have tried all the coffee shops in Longton, this is by far the best. We wish you well 👍👏👏👏

Took my grandson to the peppa pig & chase afternoon tea. Was great food and drink very good! The guys great. Enjoyed so much. Would recommend! Will go again.

Very nice place, the small meat pies was awesome 👍 the selection of deserts was very good. My only criticism is the small sandwiches (cream cheese & cucumber) was very bland with no flavour. Over all worth a visit. Friendly & polite host.

After seeing all the good reviews we were looking forward to our lunch at this little cafe. However things went from bad to worse. The place was freezing, I know it was a cold January day and things were not helped by a stream of people going in and out. Seldom do I have eat my lunch while keeping my coat on. The tomato soup was very watery and thin and appeared to consist of not much more than liquised cheap tinned ones. My main course Lamb Hot Pot, lamb mince yes HOT no barely warm, served with frozen diced mixed veg and pickled red cabbage. All served on a stone cold dinner plate. I will not be returning.

I visited for a baby shower and informed them of a diary allergy previously, the afternoon tea was fantastic, it felt they had good knowledge of allergies and I wasn’t just offered dry sandwich and sorbet. The food was delicious and will definitely return.

We visited as a group of work friends, for a Christmas afternoon tea. What a fabulous time we had. I am vegan and yet I feel I was served the best afternoon tea of all! The vegan afternoon tea is pictured here. The best thing about this place is the friendly staff. They are so easy to book with and arrange a special occasion. The themes afternoon teas are always a winner, you can come back and each time the food is different. We were absolutely delighted and we will be back soon.

Leisurely Saturday breakfast with a toddler (as if that is a thing) really lovely food all fresh produce and speedy service. Relaxed atmosphere so no worries with children giggling and investigating the area.

Went here with a friend for xmas afternoon tea. The Yorkshire pudding wrap with a pig in a blanket was delightful. Im not a fan of goats cheese but enjoyed the small pastry that also had a chutney on. The soup was different, thai chicken, tasty. The sweet things are my favourite and i thought the cheesecake was lovely. I liked the piped xmas tree meringue and the xmas pudding brownie(?), nice touch. The scone was good, the jam was tasty but there wasnt enough of it... Overall i enjoyed the visit and the food, its another unique place that knocks up a good afternoon tea. My only problem, hence the 4 rating, is that i dont think there was enough. Food, service, atmosphere great.

Came across this lovely little place on Facebook and it seemed very popular so thought we’d make a special trip out to longton to give it a try.

Nice little place for lunch. Food at lunch time was good, with plenty of choice on the menu and it was reasonably priced. Service was a little slow, there was only one young man waiting on tables. Parking limited on forecourt and parking on nearby roads was difficult, it being busy.

Visited for the first time for the Trolls themed tea party that they held. Smaller than I expected but quaint, bit pricey, not normally an afternoon tea person, but my daughter loves Trolls. The staff were lovely and my daughter was over the moon with the appearance of Poppy and Branch and getting to dance with them so all in all, a lovely afternoon!

The building is much smaller than I expected, however it was a lovely cosy atmosphere, just a little warm. The food was tasty. We had to ask a few times for milk for the tea. The staff weren’t about enough. But overall a nice afternoon tea

This place really is the best for afternoon tea! Not only do they cater marvellously for special occasions, you can also hire out for private events. I have always been greeted with a friendly, smiling and welcoming face and the food is ALWAYS top notch!

I had looked forward to going here but it was just mediocre the quiche had been warmed in the microwave? And no scones or anything that looked edible really tge service was good

Visited on Sunday 15/07/18 for the Harry Potter afternoon tea was left disappointed by the quality of the food the only thing that you could say was the cringeworthy actors who performed. The only way that you could tell it was supposed to be Harry Potter afternoon tea was the cup cake and the snitch like cake pop!! The cheap lemonade was most unpalatable as was the cheap burger

We visited on Friday for the first time and we shall definitely return. The afternoon tea was absolutely amazing - the savouries are delicious and the sweet treats are out of this world. Nick, the owner, was so accommodating and friendly. The whole experience was great and we would definitely recommend a visit - thank you.

Visited happy bunnies for afternoon tea on Thursday it was quite a long drive out but it had been recommended to us . The food was fantastic loads of little savoury items and some lovely cakes delicious

Visited here with my wife for a lunchtime treat and got to say it surpassed my expectations.

Two for tea at hutch and it's very nice, the selection of food is very good, nothing is to much trouble, we couldn't finish everything so we finished it off at home, we would definitely like to return and have a meal if afternoon tea is anything to go bye.

We came a couple of weeks ago 5 adults and 1 child all I can say is the afternoon teas were amazing sandwiches the pie was delicious usual crops etc and the cakes well mini chocolate cups scones meringue explosion cup cakes but my granddaughters was exceptional including pizza hotdog they made ham sandwiches her dessert had gingerbread man a big colourful lolly certainly go again the staff were excellent the young man there don’t know his name was lovely well done

My friend and I went to Happy Bunnies with our two 13 month old today at lunch. It was such a lovely experience. From the minute we walked in, we were greeted by the nicest friendliest man (who I'm really sorry I don't know the name of). He couldn't help us enough. The cafe was clearly popular as although it was quiet when we arrived, all but 2 of the tables were reserved. There was an abundance of highchairs which was a welcome sign, nice clean ones too that are clearly well looked after. What followed was just really good, first class service in all aspects. Really good fresh food and an excellent choice of food for lunch. What really made me smile was the host coming back to us after we'd placed our order for 2 kids meals, to suggest that the meal us pretty big and considering we only had little ones would we rather share one and not waste our money. This may not seem much but that made me want to come back as it shows he put the customer above profits and that he was genuinely putting our interests first. We all loved our meals and he was right about sharing one being enough. So a big thank you and we can't wait to come back next time we're in the area.

My partner and I visited for the first time today and were seriously impressed. I had heard good reviews about Happy Bunnies so was expecting it to be good but it was exceptional! We visited the sister cafe (Hutch) and had pre ordered a Christmas afternoon tea. The selection of both savory and sweet was vast and was really nicely presented on a picnic bench style display. Everything was really tasty and we took some goodies home with us as there was so much selection! I've read a nasty review on here about Happy Bunnies saying the portions are not big enough but based on our experience, this is certainly not the case (either that or we have much smaller stomachs than the customer who made this comment!) The service was exceptional; really friendly and efficient. We couldn't have asked for a nicer experience. Thank you!

Really enjoyed our visit here, the afternoon tea was far better than some we have had, and paid more for. There was a great selection of savoury and sweet, flavours and styles. The place is decorated really well, and service with a smile always a winner. The coffee is to die for too. We will be ordering cakes for home very soon. Thoroughly recommended, ad can't wait to visit again soon.

We go out for afternoon tea on a monthly basis. Have been & enjoyed lovely teas at many venues throughout Lancashire but Happy Bunny’s is the best. Friendly wonderful host. Nothing to much trouble & the quality of the food & value exceptional. Cannot wait for my next visit. Thank you once again.

Came for Christmas afternoon tea on Saturday after visiting the sister company 'Hutch' last year for Christmas afternoon tea. This year happy bunnies was as amazing as last year. The food was absolutely fantastic and the gentleman working was outstanding. He was so accommodating to my younger brother and was so friendly, nothing was too much to trouble at all. An absolute credit to the company :) Thank you so much, I for one can't wait to come back!

Visited today for family birthdays fantastic food and excellently presented, very welcoming atmosphere and service brilliant, We had the Harry Potter afternoon tea, brilliant some lovely touches, highly recommend this place

Decided to stop by for lunch, after enjoying an afternoon tea previously, and was very disappointed. I ordered the Ploughmans and whilst it may have had ham/cheese/pickle it was very poor. We were given a small pot of grated cheese... Why? It was like the owner who served us was too busy to put a nice spread together (he was on his own serving) so instead just chucked what he had on a board. We also got a small piece of ham ripped into pieces, barely a teaspoon of pickle and a hard roll. Wouldn't make me rush back again, unfortunately.

We came for the Harry Potter afternoon tea and it was excellent. Such a good afternoon tea- lots of little touches. Really friendly and welcoming staff. We had to take some home with us and they are happy to box stuff up for you to take home. Fabulous!

Visited here purely for the HP theme afternoon tea. Small place, very friendly waiter/chef, food presented well, tasty and fresh, good theme, good quantity for price. Would visit again if in the area

After visiting both Happy Bunnies and Hutch I have always been impressed by the quality and variety of their afternoon teas. I thought I would try the takeaway as a treat for my daughters birthday, it was very disappointing and reminded me of a cheap wedding buffet with being served two sandwiches, sausage roll and pie. Don't think I will be bothering with it again

My boyfriend books us in for a gluten free afternoon tea, it was amazing! The staff were lovely and the afternoon tea was delicious, having the themed tea was a nice touch. Being able to go out for afternoon tea without worrying about not being able to eat anything due to being gluten intolerant was really nice. I'd highly recommend a visit and plan on visiting again myself.

Recently took the grandchildren for a novelty lunch. We had been several times before but for some reason this time the food was not up to the previous standards. The quality felt cheap not like last time when it felt more home made.

Came here for my daughters Bridal Shower. Could not fault this place. The afternoon tea was just perfect.Everyone enjoyed the food. The cupcakes were made on the bridal theme.The Staff couldnt do enough to help you. Thankyou for a very nice afternoon

Visited with a friend and we both enjoyed the afternoon tea. The pie they served with the tea was delicious! Some of the food could've done with being a bit warmer, but overall had a lovely time and would return.
