The best restaurants serving Default food in Littleborough Lakeside Rochdale North West

Our second visit to The White House, disappointing this time. The minced beef pie was not very hot, cauliflower nearly raw, broccoli overcooked and rubbery, carrots fine and nice chips. There is such a big menu and I imagine if you are ordering the same as most other people, eg roast dinner or fish and chips then the meal would be hotter and the standard hopefully would be better. The room was also very chilly, I had to borrow my husband’s jacket as we were sat in a draught from the open window.

We made the mistake of trying some of the more interesting choices such as the prawns and calamari which is where this review really falls down. Stick to the cones of chips and you can't go wrong. Value for money for what I got just wasn't there. Won't be rushing back unfortunately.

Great little place - food service were top notch

Great selection of dishes for all types of taste buds. Huge portion size and very very tasty too. Fantastic service with a smile and all round very impressed. Highly recommended. Pictured is the hunters chicken off the deli menu and the steak bowl with chunky chips and peppercorn sauce from the set price menu.

This is a gem of a cafe. The food is brilliant, just try their burgers 🍔. Lovely peaceful place, eat inside or outside. The location is ideal as it is next to Harehill park. Beautiful location, great food 👌

there was no yolk in my egg. sausage and bacon very nice..but it was just egg white?

A Great Place to call in while walking the Canal

Overpriced for what it was. Ive cream was OK tasting, but not worth what we paid. Its a shame because it breaks up the walk around the lake well (not that I'd rush back to do that anytime again soon).

The food is good 90% of the time and just enough. I celebrated my birthday with my parents this evening and we all had a light meal. The atmosphere is great. Their are a couple of staff members that struggle with smiling but I imagine that's just because it was busy.

Visited here on a Monday lunchtime, it was quite busy but we managed to get a table strait away,service was extremely quick and friendly and the price was reasonable, this place overlooks hollingworth lake so a nice setting, there is also a take away attached if you want to eat out

Flying visit on a walk so only had a quick pint, was just open so was nobody in but was cheap and clean.

Previously ordered from here and never had many issues. Usual order placed and found food tasted more salty than spicy. Personally feel it doesn’t taste the same and pizza not as good as I remember. Probably order elsewhere next time.

Lovely food, generous portions, home cooked and locally sourced. This is a great place to eat, my steak was delicious as was the Cumberland sausage my partner had. Highly recommend this pub.

This was a horrible place. The food wasn't good at all one meal was aired & another meal was awful pastry Rock hard with hardly any filling in. I had to wait 20 minutes for it even though I was told 10 mins. The woman serving had not a clue what she was doing on the till,we ordered 3 meals & 3 drinks then she said that we had only ordered 2 meals. I had the blue light app which she wouldn't even give it chance to come up on my phone as crap Internet so couldn't get my discount. It wasn't just myself it was also when she served other people that another member of staff had to help her. Very disappointed customer & I will not be going again. The only upside was that the man member of staff refunded me for my meal which was terrible. I've been to other greenking pubs in Lytham & they are great unfortunately this one in Littleborough is rubbish food service everything.
