The best restaurants serving Default food in Castleton Rochdale North West

Walked past here on our way to a wedding function ftom the train station. We didn't have a reservation. The restaurant is really quite small with not many tables The man was sat outside and he told us he was fully booked that night (Saturday night) we explained we would be in and out in an hour and so he managed to fit us in. I had chicken tigani, husband had lamb kleftiko. Both meals were cooked to absolute perfection! Melt in the mouth lamb chunks. The chicken was also extremely tender. One of the best greek meals we have ever had. The lady who cooked the meals came out to ask us how our food was and we had a lovely chat. What a very pleasant visit to your restaurant! lived the greek music playing too! Thank you so much! we will definitely return!@

The is totally amazing the best I’ve tasted in my life everything is really nice 👌 All dishes were really nice My children loved it even the baby was making yummy noises the Naan bread was so soft and fluffy and it was all well worth the money and and night off from cooking

Really great hospitality and customer service from the owners. They even let me taste some of the flavours of chicken, and donner stir fry they made for taste adjustments. I ordered a Garlic bread with underneath donner and cheese on top with a separate tray of stir fry donner meat. Food quality is 5 star The flavours and quality on donner meat was tender and melt in the mouth full of flavour. Garlic bread was not overly garlicy and fluffy soft top and perfectly crunchy bottom. Five star service Great hospitality from the get go, before I left they asked if all my needs were met and happy with the food. Very open to converstaion, polite and humorous. 3 star atmosphere Only because there isn't much room for an atnosphere as the shop is only small, it's more like a grab a go. Open early doors on some weekdays which is a massive plus Parking is very limited

Out of the way Castleton Chinese Chippy and takeaway. Lovely food, quick and friendly service. They dont deliver but will take telephone orders for collection. I will be back.

if you like real ales this place to vist its a micro pub but has a varied selection of ales and wines

Great night out with friends. Food was lovely. As we were a big group we did have to wait a while for our food but it was worth the wait.

Excellent little pub with a fantastic atmosphere.. nice & friendly.. prices reasonable definitely worth a visit.. especially if you're out walking 🚶‍♂️

Helpful when making booking. Polite service in shop. Nice afternoon tea. Beautifully decorated children's Halloween themed treats. Good selection to choose from. Vegetarian options provided. Space was a little tight where we were seated. I hadn't realised it was small inside.

Used to go years ago when it was Fallen Angels but only been a couple of times since it's been Cenetta. I love the decor, it's cozy & feels like eating in a wine cellar but my husband hates it and says it's like a seedy basement! I had calamari which was a huge portion, cooked beautifully but I had to ask for some garlic mayo as it just had a lemon wedge! My friend had mussels which she enjoyed (creamy sauce which I'm not keen on). I had duck with pancetta, cherry & walnut (perfectly cooked, very tender) with a fondant potato which was OK (bit floury rather than waxy). My friend had tagliatelle topped with a salmon steak, again creamy sauce. She said it was very salty in patches & I tried 2 small flakes of the salmon & one was fine, one was very salty - nice though. We had a lush bottle of Primitivo, no room for pud but they looked nice. £50 each including 10%+ tip. The thing that really put me off was the staff banged the back of my chair every time they went past (and it wasn't a squeeze either) and as we were right in the middle opposite the kitchen pass it was upwards of 10 times. I should have said something after the 2nd time but it was 4 different staff members doing it.

Ordered online on Sunday 27.10.24 from thier website. Order never arrived yet money was taken. No answer over the phone and the shop seems to be shut. Just eat has suspended orders so I assume the place has now closed but thier website is still active. I will now need to contact the Bank to dispute this payment.

I know this is a dog friendly pub but 2 dogs charging round where food is bieng eaten not my idea of a dine out food and staff outstanding, but 5 dogs in total 2 out of control and other 3 yapping joining in spoilt it for us won't be going again sadly
