The best restaurants serving British food in Castleton Rochdale North West

Walked in with a 40 balloon, & it was placed near the table. None of the staff wished the person a Happy Birthday despite us choosing this restaurant for the meal. Ordered drinks and had to chase up the red wine as this seemed to be missed off. The food was lovely, but staff reach across your face which can be quite rude. Ordered water for the table but no glasses provided. Had to ask for these to be told, they assumed we would use the wine glasses, but 3 out of 4 wine glasses were in use! Very bizarre. Been here many times over the years, but service is slipping.

Lovely pub family and dog friendly. Delicious food. The kids lived the outside play park
