The ‘shout out’ in this review absolutely goes to the young man who served us. Very polite, service with a smile & trying his upmost despite his miserable, rude, older colleague! Young lady was also nice, but the older guy working today needs a bit more patience & manners with the rest of the staff!

Ordered for the first time tonight and it was lovely, food was fresh and hot, we even had an extra treat as a surprise! I really appreciated that extra gesture. I hope to order again! :)

Best chicken shop about. All freshly prepared and made daily. Spicy chicken fillets are gorgeous and a 5er a meal, smokey hot wings are not to be passed up at 12 for 6 quid. Spicy mayo is beautiful. Destroys local competitors for value, service and freshness.

In all the years I have lived here why have I never ordered from here. Nice polite staff, quick service and tasty food. Oh and good prices too. We will be back

2nd time I’ve ordered the footlong big breakfast as you can see from the picture no cheese or egg or hash browns What I got was not what I ordered Good job i ordered extra hash browns just to make it a decent breakfast The phone number is wrong so couldn’t get through to complain Last time I order from here

Excellent quality fish and chips for £9.40. This might seem expensive but it is the going-rate these days and cheaper than some. The quantity was large and presented in a nice-looking box instead of just wrapped in paper. I was surprised that the only methods of payment were either cash or bank transfer (no cards) and that explained exactly what the clients in front of me were doing with their phones! I was reluctant to follow suit so just handed the assistant a tenner for speed despite being stuck with a rather useless 60p returned to my pocket. Clearly the owner has had trouble with cards and as he runs a business security of payment is a first priority so I am not going to deduct a point for a perfectly understandable ruling on payment. The premises also looked spotlessly clean. Thoroughly deserving of a five star recommendation.

Good place to stop off for a coffee after a gym visit. Coffee good and a selection of snacks, both healthy and not so healthy on offer. Service can sometimes be a little slow, but staff polite and courteous.

Poor menu, strange selection. Found it hard to select usual much loved favourites such as jacket with chilli. My 16 year old son ordered a hot chocolate for £5. It was the smallest hot chocolate ever, at least it made him laugh. Maybe he enjoyed a sip. Won’t bother again. Overpriced and poor selection. Taking advantage of customers - stealth cost saving by giving minuscule portions.

Was in John Lewis for some shopping. Great service, great selection of food. Clean and tidy. Was a busy Saturday morning as well. Had bad reviews in the past, seems to have got their act together. Would definitely go again.
