Beautiful food and attentive service.

First time ever at this restaurant. Fully recommended.

Great food and service but a bit early for entertaining atmosphere

The best chinese in Cheshire by a mile. The food is always fresh and the flavours in every dish is 💯 never fail. If you haven't tried you need too get booking a takeaway or to dine in I promise you will not be disappointed. I'm there 3 times a week 😄 🤣 😂

Lovely food for Chinese takeaways!

This was my mum and dad’s favourite place to eat. Plenty of choice and good service. The atmosphere is charming, there’s a fish tank in the middle of a room with pretty trees and lighting. Good for family get together or a romantic dinner. Food is great.

Had a lovely meal here, had the set meal for 2, staff were great the atmosphere was relaxed, will definitely go again so highly recommend

Service was fast and friendly, The best Hot and Sour soup we've ever had, spring rolls were amazing...salt and pepper chicken, Singapore vermicelli, spot on... Highly recommend.

Excellent Chinese meal. We usually go to a good Chinese in Manchester but Handforth is much nearer to home and we weren’t disappointed. Very pleasant and efficient staff. All the usual dishes on the menu. Very tasty, and hot! Not cheap, but a quality restaurant. Will definitely be back!

Excellent restaurant. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Great selection and reasonably priced for the excellent quality. The restaurant itself is extremely clean. The staff are very polite and helpful. Pure delight 👌

It's had its day. Table booked and confirmed. They weren't ready for us large party arrived we were ignored we had 2 bottles of red, and they tried to charge us for 3 food, samey and over cooked. No tip.

Tried here after getting tired of high prices at Jins in Macclesfield. Much better value and higher quality. Worth the 15 minute drive!

Polite, friendly, helpful, and attentive, our servers did all they could to please and assist wherever possible. The food was served swiftly, was fresh, served at a great temperature, and tasted fabulous. Would we return? Absolutely we would! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Would recommend 😋👌

i heard the emmy talking and laughing at customers, awful management. the food is reheated and not fresh. they also treat their staff awfully, they aren’t even allowed to keep their hard earned tips! i would rate it 0 if i could

Wouldn’t recommend them any (Emmy) is rude and I’ve over heard her conversations of her talking about customers I’ve been told the food is reheated and over price the drinks I was served by a young man and we amazing and polite. Their waiters are not allowed the tips they get as it all goes to the manger called Pete and Emmy wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t tip the waiters

Service and atmosphere was great but the food I ordered was too salty and hot sour soup was too far sour .

Really fancied a good Chinese and this didn’t disappoint. Delicious food. Had the set menu for 3 of us and it was more than enough. Was dubious about the Smoked Chicken but actually it was super and highly recommend. Staff were lovely too. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

Forgotten about and ignored constantly, orders came wrong several times, drinks orders taken and never brought. When requesting to pay we were ignored as well, could quite easily have walked out and had a free meal

Just love this place. Friendly welcoming and food is delicious. Not cheap but good value. We usually go for the meal deals and we swop the meats around as we all have different tastes. Great when take the grandkids as well.

First time visiting here, very impressed with the food, great selection on the menu and quality ingredients used in cooking. Both members of staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Popular with take out orders so will be using this service as well in the future.

I have go to Handforth on a regular basis for work, but hadn't tried this restaurant before. A colleague told me it was good but as there were no reviews since last year i was a little worried. However the food was fantastic, as i arrived at my table the waiter gave me some prawn crackers to eat whilst i reviewed the menu. I ordered the food (with some amendments to the ingredients) and within approx 10 mins my food arrived. The food was hot and so good. I ordered a Thai green curry with fried rice and a beer. Good price £23. I couldn't eat all the food so asked for a takeway pot for lunch in the morning. When reviewing the bill, they don't charge for the crackers. I will be back again next time i'm in the area

Loved this place. We had an overnight stay in Manchester with a next day flight to USA so we stayed in the area. Found this place and had a beer and food. Staff were amazing looked after us really well and the food was top notch as was the beer. Wish I could go more often.

Was very quiet (but it was the Wednesday after christmas) but couldn't fault the food or attentive service. Best chinese food I've had in years, my partner said ever!! Set menu was tasty and great value. Sat next to the indoor pond with koi which was nice. Will go again.

Superb restaurant. If you are staying in the Best Western or other nearby hotel you should definitely try it out. Restaurant was spotlessly clean, the owners were super polite and wonderful hosts. Food was outstanding - just wish I'd remembered to take photos!

Was good, now just don't bother. Items missing from the order and allergens left in (prawns). When brought to the attention of the staff they did not seem to care. We used to eat here 12 or more times a year and recommended this place both eating in and take out. We will not be back.

Probably the best Chinese dinner I’ve had in a decade. From the moment you walk in, you know you are in a place where precision and service is valued, from the perfectly aligned tables, chairs and place settings, to the quality of presentation to food taste to the variety of dishes on the menu. Highly recommended!

Ordered from here a good number of times Spent almost £50 last night and was absolutely shocking! My three kids didn’t eat any of it, Me and my partner eat as much as we could stomach for the fact of how much we spent! Very very disappointed

Stopped for an evening meal before our holiday and what a fantastic meal. Very friendly staff, beautiful food and a great table right next to the goldfish pond. Highly recommend the chilli garlic king prawns! 10/10 from the Curd family. Keep up the great work team.

We’re new to the area, and we gave The Handforth Chinese a try last night (Oct 2) and it was delicious. The chicken satay was perfect, the salt & pepper chips were great. We’ll definitely be going back, worth every penny.

I went for dinner here with my boyfriend today and honestly left happy! Service was fantastic, food was epic! I will definitely be back. The gentleman that served us was so nice and nothing appeared to be too much for him, didn't catch his name but one happy customer here!

Absolutely vile watery grey pork, starter was dry expensive and disgusting. Avoid. 15 years ago amazing ! Not now. Not even changed the decor and the food is a disgrace

We visited family in wilmslow and they have been coming here for years. They have always been really happy with food and as were we! All good from the lamb ribs to sizzling prawns was amazing and the prawns weren’t cheap rubbery ones either like most places. I had a flat beer and the man replaced it immediately and was more lively, I can see why our family always return. For the area the place was very reasonably priced and great sized portions with not mountains of MSG and salt either. Very happy with the meal and will definitely return when we visit again in October

We have eaten in many chinese/cantonese restuarants, but the food eaten today is by far the best. Deserving of a visit. Celebrating our Wedding Anniversary from Nottm.

Brilliant food good atmosphere and excellent service

The chicken szechuan was terrible. It’s was crispy and tasted like pork scratchings. Usually the food is good from here. Rest of the meal was fine but we couldn’t eat the Szechuan at all.

I have not been to this restaurant for a while, and today the family decided to order a takeaway, and I must admit the food was absolutely delicious, and I do not know why people travel all the way to Manchester for good Chinese food, this restaurant has a good service the taste of the food was very delicious very genuine and as good or better than the Chinatown restaurants in Manchester

We walked 45 mins from Manchester airport to get to this little beauty. The staff were lovely. Food was out in no time and was absolutely delicious. The cobra beers went down a treat too. Some place 11/10

Absolutely love this Chinese restaurant.. been bringing my Father who is convalescing at a nearby hotel.. Food deeeeeeLISH esp the sweet and sour King prawns.. good portion sizes, lovely decor, warm and inviting, very tasty Sun Lik (Chinese) beer,,, excellent service - so polite.. always an absolute pleasure dining here, they have gained regular customers ❤

Went here for our daughters 16th birthday and the banquet was stunning but there was soooo much food we had to take half of it home with us. Staff were really friendly and accommodating and made the effort with a little cake to celebrate which was a lovely touch. Parking and location is ideal as an alternative to Manchester City centre. Can't wait to visit again

Lovely warm welcoming place. We celebrated our 52nd anniversary with our family. Good food, very good. Portions big. Staff really nice especially with our 2 year old granddaughter. We had a great night and thank you to all at the restaurant. Just a small point if you park in car park behind you can only be there for 2 hours or it's a £60 fine.

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been in and more people need to know it’s there the service is always excellent lovely staff food is always great and always hot and it’s very clean and it’s close to home go and try you won’t be disappointed and if you didn’t want to eat in go and get a carry out and that’s made to order

Had to wait 40 mins for takeaway, when got home food stodgy, msg, salty, and just no good. Used to be better when jack's. Won't be going back again.

Six of us visited on a Tuesday evening which even in ideal circumstances would not be a busy time. Despite the shortage of customers which must be demoralising for everyone the service and food was excellent as always.

Birthday meal 🎉 What can I say except great staff, lovely food and I would definitely go back again.

My husband and I have visited this restaurant ever since we started dating 7 years ago, last night we brought our grandad to try it out and he absolutely loved it. Food was amazing, staff very friendly (apologised over and over about the wait but honestly we wasn’t waiting long) It was nice to see it busy with customers. 5 stars from us!!!

Real shame use to be really nice place this. I had the audacity to complain that the ribs weren’t cooked (they were pink and raw) complained to the waiter who brought the aggressive chef out who continued to justify (by shouting) that they were cooked. Deluded and shocking food. AVOID. Worst place I have ever ate and service is disgusting. Shame I have to leave 1 star. DONT GO NEAR

Lovely food and wonderful atmosphere

I love this place. Can’t praise it enough. Ain’t exactly cheap but every dish is lovely (except the spring rolls but the other lovely food makes up for it) Don’t leave without trying the capital spare ribs. They are the best in the country. Food comes quickly too. Easy parking outside. Always friendly service. Can’t wait to go again. Thanks to all the staff and team.

Quite unreal what’s happened, I’ve arrived at the restaurant this evening, as soon as I walked in I felt ill. Not gonna lie, with England’s semi final win I’d had a few to many the night before. As soon as we arrived at the restaurant the lady seated us, got the drinks order and put some prawn crackers in the table. We started having a drink. I believe we ate 4 of the crackers out of the bowl they came in. I explained I didn’t feel well and had to leave, the coke didn’t settle my stomach as I’d have thought. When the bill arrived the lady had added £5.00 on for the crackers. I couldn’t believe it! Ok we’ve messed them around, but there was only three people in there. I’ve been here quite few times and couldn’t believe it. I don’t mind the £5, it was the principle. The food is more than over priced for the quality but it’s the only one I know in the area. No wonder the Italian was so busy we couldn’t get a table and this place was empty. Rant over…
