Great food. The salt and pepper chicken pieces were really tasty.

I've had better Asian food although my Mrs gorged the lot .

Usually great food but today’s meal was really average. Definitely will have to be convinced to use again in the future. Shame as it’s been our go to take away treat for a while.

Best Chinese in Cheshire and the guy that serves me all the time is genuinely the kindest human being I know and I really don’t understand why it’s not Knutsford’s busiest takeaway, maybe need Delivery only issue but even I’d do it to ensure everyone else can see canton how I do!!!

I recently moved to the area and was recommended this take away. I had a favourite Chinese takeaway in my previous home area, however Canton's food actually beats that is now is my new favourite! The staff are very helpful as the menu was slightly different. The find was cooked in front of you, it was a little wait (but I did go at 6:30 on a weekend. The food was delicious 😋 Highly recommended this place!

The food in this place is amazing! I bought a big order as I had family over and they were all impressed. This will be my new local! The staff are very helpful and friendly and it’s nice that you can see through to the kitchen, you can see how clean they are then.

Ordered chicken chow mein dish last night. Got home and the noodles were still like they look in a packet, and not cooked. Had to salvage what we could.

Unfortunately the meal we had tonight was awful. Canton is our go to Chinese as normally it is really nice. Apparently it has changed ownership and has gone downhill at an alarming rate. My daughter had chow mein and the noodles were hard and stuck together like they weren't cooked, I had to cook them in the wok at home to make sure the meal was cooked enough to eat. I had garlic and chilli chicken which was spicier than normal and has now given me stomach issues. It is the next morning and I still feel sick. Will not be back.

Very sad to say I'm not going again, been using canton for 3 or 4 years or so but last visit wasn't very good at all, my wife has gluten intolerance and she wasn't very well after my visit, and I didn't think it was up to its usual standards at all. Lovely staff as well, very sad.

Really good meal, great flavour and lots of fresh veg. Excellent service and advice on dishes.

This Chinese takeaway has been absolutely excellent for many years, the food tastes magnificent and the service has always been spot on. It has always been by far the best Chinese and Cantonese food available. Regrettably, since the owner had to step back for personal reasons and her son took over, standards are falling. The crispy duck we had last night was overcooked and going hard. The lamb ginger and spring onion that has always tasted fantastic was bland and tasteless in comparison. It is a shame that I have to rate 4 star, it has always been 5 star until this year.

Oh no, we’ve been loyal Canton customers for 5 years and never had a bad meal in that time. Canton has seemingly now changed ownership and the last two meals we’ve had were just awful by comparison. Look out for the gloopy sauces, crazy food colouring (curry sauce has gone bright orange, sweet and sour is now neon pink) and a complete lack of flavour. The egg fried rice and noodles were ok. At best, the two meals we’ve had were bang average, and the service was fine, but not as organised as previously. Unfortunately, it was just not worth the money on either occasion and it pains me to write this about our favourite takeaway. Canton, we need good Chinese food - please don’t do this to the people of Knutsford….

Sweet and sour chicken was inedible. Very 'gluppy'. Peking ribs fatty under alot of sauce 4 ribs in total for a portion. Wont be returning. Waste of money

Best Chinese anywhere. We have been eating takeaway from Canton for over 17 years. Love the variety of delicious food and the friendly owner and staff.

Such a sad thing when the sun sets on a good business. After being a customer for many years I can safely say I will never order from Canton again. Initially I was disappointed when after collecting, they produced unseasoned, overcooked food on the first occasion, but the response when we told them was completely unacceptable, compounded by the fact that when we returned to give them the partially inedible food back we were greeted by being told that by returning it WE were wasting food.... Please at least cook it to a standard where it doesn't hurt your mouth to chew before blaming it on the person that paid for it.... Our meal was, however, to be fair grudgingly replaced, unfortunately that was with now seasoned but again ridiculously overcooked food that we fed the bin rather than the family pets with. As a family we used to really enjoy ordering from their kitchen... For those of you that live in the local area and have enjoyed their menu in the past I really suggest that you look elsewhere as I really didn't get the impression that tonight was just a bad night

Not good if you have high standards, if you like a massive portion no taste greasy Chinese then go for it. Also not quite sure I've ever seen a black satay sauce before.

Hit and miss. Sorry to say after trying various dishes, I find them bland and watery, dont get me wrong , loads of fresh ingredients; just no flavour. Portions are tiny. Shame 3 years later and no improvement.

First visit, amazing.... Tonight, chip's flat, dried up, not eaten, ended up in bin. Disappointing, especially after 1st visit.

A great Chinese takeaway with lots of options and a high level of hygiene. When you call, your food is always ready within 20 minutes to pick up. Our favourite local Chinese by far.

While in the area for work I fancied a bit of Chinese and unlike most take away's Canton did a range of interesting Dim sum. I ordered one of each plus a 1/4 of the duck and it was far too much for me to eat but was extremely tasty!

Horrible.The weirdest hot and sour soup ever tasted.No flavour at all.The chicken curry dish also tasteless.Have to drive to Wilmslow for a decent Chinese as there are none in Knutsford

The best Cantonese food I have had in a long time. I'm new to the area and this is going to be a firm favourite. Everything was so fresh and tasty and the portions were generous. I called in my order and 15 minutes later it was ready for collection. Highly recommend Canton.

We discovered this Chinese when living in Knutsford and now keep coming from Hartford because we can't find another Chinese as nice locally to us.

The best chinese food in all of the historic market town of Knutsford, unfortunatly you can not get it delivered straight to you it is very fast and delicious, they won't disappoint you.

Absolutely gorgeous Chinese take away best one I’ve ever had. Reccomend the Salt and pepper ribs- were full of meat and flavour. Ok chicken was just how I wanted it. Chicken and sweet corn soup best I’ve ever had honestly so happy and content now. Thanks! Worth every penny.

Despite the 5* reviews, this was without a doubt the worst Chinese I've ever eaten. Impressive was their ability to even mess up rice so it was chewy and greasy. Hot and Sour soup was a black liquid with nothing in it, Crispy Chilli Beef was not crispy, chilli and I am dubious it was even beef. Either I ate on a bad night or the other reviewers are friends of the management.

The best Chinese around, can't find any faults with it. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Food is always hot, fresh and delicious. Always busy which is a good sign. Shame they don't offer a delivery service. Still best Chinese in Knutsford.
