Absolute worlds best fresh food full of flavour and the staff are so welcoming and lovely portions are big and price is perfect for the quality recommend to anyone

Ordered salt and pepper ribs as takeaway and this is what I got burnt ribs hard and no onions etc as what you would expect for this dish. I would never go to here again

We love New Wok's. They always look after us with very good quality food at reasonable prices and generous portion sizes. The menu offers fantastic choice and delivery service is fast and friendly. Tried lots of Chinese from different areas, obsessed with this place!

Ordered from here for the first time thought I’d give it a try, I’m so glad I did I ordered the chicken fried rice it was delicious so tasty and free from grease I’ve had some in the past from other takeout places and found it to be rather greasy. I also had the cha su an wok fried bean sprouts, oh my god it was so tasty the pork was so tender and flavoursome I also had wok fried soft noodles and I’m not joking they were the best tasting noodles I’ve ever had, even the curry sauce was perfect. I can’t wait to try other foods of their menu I’m so impressed with the taste and quality of their food I would definitely recommend you give this Chinese takeout a go

5 star hygiene rated takeaway, excellent quality food, good sized portions, very friendly staff who remember your regular orders and are happy to cook your food the way you like it. I usually go in, but occasional phone orders (when I have been feeling lazy) have arrived promptly and nice and hot. Often give me complimentary prawn crackers with my orders. By far my favourite takeaway in the area. Highly recommend, give them a try yourself.

Never again food diabolical, soggy batter on chicken too much grease, ribs straight in the bin full of fat everyone of them.. Salt n pepper chips,wheres the salt n pepper just chunks of onion.. Had to cook another meal cause it went in the bin..

Probably the best Chinese Restaurant in the area. Never let down , all orders correct, you always get a little extra witch is nice . I have recently tried their Thai Green Curry (King Prawn) and is absolutely divine.

First time order. Quick delivery and hot food. Scrumptious and big. I tried the fried rice with spicy chicken with a big roll. Could not finish in one meal and still yum when reheated.

This is a takeaway only Chinese food shop. The sweet & sour pork I ordered was well balanced in mixture. The service was nice and fast. Awesome!

Best Chinese takeaway used them for or years wouldn't go anywhere else 👍

After a solid 12 hours of drinking all I wanted was a nice chinese. Imagine the anticipation! I was so excited for a delicious, fresh and satisfying meal. Unfortunately I chose to order from New Woks cooking. Salt and pepper chicken/chicken wings/ribs all inedible, soggy and tasteless - the ribs were also made up of some nondescript tough, stringy meat, one bite was all I managed despite a good 10 pints of the worlds finest beer (Estrella). The extra crispy salt and pepper chips were intact extra crappy. Weirdly whilst slightly crispy they also managed to be soggy/slimy at the same time. All the salt and pepper dishes lacked taste if I’m honest, maybe they had run out or salt and pepper. Along with all other spices and flavouring. On a positive note, the curry sauce tasted good enough to cover up the (unpleasant) taste of the special fried rice. I would never ever order from here again and wouldn’t advise anyone else to unless you’re particularly keen for a bland, soggy and disappointing meal.

Our usual Chinese was closed due to it being a Monday. I don’t know why we’ve never tried this takeaway sooner. Food was excellently prepared. No grease or gloopy sauce here! My husband is very picky about crispy duck and a Firm fan of a certain other Well known Chinese in central Wilmslow. After tonight he’s been converted! He never eats ribs but the honey ribs were lovely & a real win! . We also received a complementary portion of salt & pepper chicken wings which I have to say we’ll be definitely going back for! Delivery was fast in 30 mins at 7pm at night, which you’d expect to be busy. All in All a firm 5/5 ! I think we’ll definitely be switching to this Chinese moving forward! Highly Recommend !

They need to change the girl on the till she is useless.

Maybe it was our choices but the Chicken Curry was very runny, the chicken satay also had no substance to it and the order was wrong. Having said that the chicken fried rice was good and so were the noodles. We wont be ordering from there again.

We went to this take away on Christmas Eve and ordered a wide variety of food. Each dish was packed full of flavour and was big in portion size. I don't often get a Chinese but will only ever choose this one now. Highly recommend their lemon chicken, salt and pepper chicken wings + fillet steak in black bean sauce.

This is by far the best chinese amongst Handforth, Wilmslow and Alderney edge. The prices are fair and he food is amazing! No rubber chicken it’s all decent fresh food! What’s more important is the guy is really nice and polite and always go the extra mile to make sure you are happy. I wouldn’t go any where else. James Catterall.

Fantastic food, great value and always arrives promptly and piping hot. A dish was missed off our order - 1st time ever - the guy was so apologetic and the cash was posted through my letterbox the next day .

Nice local Chinese Takeaway with an excellently cooked and tasty menu. Lim on the front desk is always friendly, helpful and accomodating to any changes made to your order.

Vegetarian chicken tasted like rubber, my friends cheese burger was very dry, banana fritters were soggy. Will not order again. Only good thing was super fast delivery.

Stumbled across this takeaway after months of poor food and what a breath of fresh air! I cannot speak too highly of this takeaway the food arrives before the due time and it’s delicious. Try it!

Found a hair in the packet of prawn crackers and all they tried to do was fob us of with a free packet of prawn crackers.

We ordered food today at 6.57 told it would be and 1 hour delivery. Rang at 8.30 told they hadn’t started cooking it would be another st leafstalk half an hour. I said I had friends waiting she said too busy and had too wait at least another 45 mins. No appreciation of customer service. Absolutely ridiculous and we’ve been treated with no respect or service

Absolutely diabolical,my friend opened her sweet and sour chicken and was blown away by the vinegar fumes,might aswell had ordered some salt and vinegar crisp,the chicken was rock hard. Noodles were cold. But the free prawn crackers were lovely. Would not reccomend

And I mean it. The chicken really was like an inner tube, the sauce was bonk, the ribs had been fried more times than my bald forehead on the benidorm sunshine.Spend a few dollars more and go somewhere else, this place is sub standard at best.

we ordered a takeaway for a family night. Delivery was within the time advised. Food was warm on arrival. starters, salt and pepper chicken wings, pretty tasty but were quite greasy. King prawns in cashew nut just tasted like they had added some water and cornstarch to the mix, really bland. the special fried rice was really dry and was mainly rice and not much mixed meats. disappointing

Awful takeaway - bland - nasty - cheap - awful!! Quite shocked - cold on arrival too. No fresh ingredients - even the dog turned her nose up!

Rather than bore you all with the nonsense ins and outs, the bottom line is that should you be dissatisfied with this business for one reason or another and you challenge them on this, requesting that they right the situation.... You will be incredibly disappointed!!!! The staff member on the telephone is very argumentative and would rather lose a customer of 13 years than resolve the situation. I am absolutely disgusted with how much he upset a family member of mine and therefore they now have lost 2 households and our recommendation as we certainly will NEVER use this business again!

Disappointed ordered special curry, beef was as tough as an old boot, pork looked like it came from the Tesco deli counter definitely not Char sui.

The food is great and service with a smile. The price is very reasonable with big portions. I didn't even have to wait long for a counter order. Pro tip; try the satay, it's awesome.
