The best restaurants serving Default food in Harraby Carlisle North West

Ordered afternoon tea to take away, to celebrate a special birthday. The ladies were so helpful and added an extra tea to the order when we needed to add an extra guest. All the food was made fresh on the day, and was absolutely delicious we had a fantastic afternoon.

I had travelled from Consett, with my husband, to collect an item from Carlisle. We decided to have fish and chips for an early dinner (lunch time). The nearest fish and chip shop was 'The Central', so we called in there. The fish was perfectly cooked and the batter was crispy - delicious. The chips were lovely too. The staff were really friendly and the premises was clean and well run. We live a distance away, but we would return in a shot. Thank you to all involved.

I had an hour in which to eat so wasn't interested in anywhere with a waiting list or that needed a booking, nor anywhere where the prices were upped because of posh decor and "in place" popularity - and there are a few like that in Carlisle! This looked under-appreciated and although I had only a quickly prepared basic Rogan Josh/Pilau Rice and Aloo Gobi dish, all was well cooked and well presented, no complaints anywhere and - a nice touch - the table linen was very high quality and swiftly renewed as soon as guests departed.

Me and the wife were in for lunch time meal , the meal we had was spot on the young lady who served us was very friendly. will be back thanks

Twice I have ordered fish and chips and I can't fault it, everything cooked fresh, hot when it arrives and absolutely delicious I'd recommend them to anyone and I won't get fish and chips from anywhere else 😋 Thank you 😊

We came for our daughter’s 4th birthday. Food was great and hot. Callum served us and was really lovely with the kids. Thank you

Came to this restaurant as part of our stay at the adjoined premier inn. Firstly, I arrived at this food place for dinner before staying in the hotel. I had an exquisite burger, which was incredibly tasty, but the service could have been quicker. There appeared to be only one waitress actually doing their job as all the others were busy chatting to each other, but this wasn't a major issue as the food more than made up for it. The second experiencehere was for breakfast the next morning, and it was an incredible experience. It was an all you can eat breakfast, which made it rather well priced for the amount of food you can receive.

Toast missing from the breakfast, paid an extra 1.90 for scrambled egg but recieve 2 fork fulls not 190 worth. Not value for money

Best choice pieces of chicken, crispy, fluffy hot wings, nice thick gravy, and a random free bonus of boneless strips. As close to perfect as it gets with KFC. A 1/1000 order.

Ordered to sit in waited 45 mins for our food, restaurant was empty so don't know why we waited so long seemed like drive through and deliveries took top priority...eventually got food, chips were cold, drinks missing partner went up to change chips he was ignored and when told there was a drinks missing he was told they didn't come up on the screen even though it was part of a meal that myself selected so 2 of us went with out a drink and we all had cold chips, first time we visited...will be the last...shockingly poor service for an empty restaurant not to mention rude staff that were going at a snails pace not caring about the amount of people waiting.

Wir waren in urlaub in England , und haben dieses McDonald’s besucht. Unser Aufenthalt war fantastisch. Das Restaurant war sehr sauber, die Mitarbeiter waren besonders freundlich und das Essen super lecker und frisch. Das spiel Bereich ist perfekt für die Kinder unsere haben Mega Spaß dort gehabt. Gerne wieder!
