KFC Carlisle in Carlisle

Honestly if we hadn't have already paid at the self-serve kiosk we would have left The premises were disgusting, discarded food on the floor, which was slippery with a build up of grease. Debris strewn in the foyer, clearly a total lack of diligence. Just when you assume things to get any worse.... The toilets were a biohazard ☣️ I nipped in and came back out immediately. Out of the three, the men's were marked as 'out of order', the disabled/baby change were locked, leaving the ladies which were an utter disgrace. Urine everywhere and a used Tampax discarded next to the cistern. Whilst there, we overheard two other families complain to staff about the state of the bathroom as unfortunately they had taken their children to use the facilities. KFC you should be ashamed and up your game. We will NOT be back!!

First time visiting will not be back !!! It was very dirty floor tables not clean , one employee came to empty bin which was already overflowing, he did not wear gloves or any other protective clothing he removed trays from top of bin put back on counter without wiping, he went to empty bin excess rubbish fell on floor which he left returned to empty bin picking rubbish up off floor and from bin with bare hands 🤮🤮 when finished never wiped anything so still waste food on bin , under tables and chairs had left over food under them ,we did not finish our meal after observing this , it is not worth any stars , staff not friendly, overall terrible place ,

Waited over 30 mins for our food, people who ordered before us got their food. It wasn’t even that busy in the place. Not a sorry for the wait in the place

After ordering food the incompetent staff at the London Road store carliske failed to put in the two main items (2 x chichen wraps ) on phoning them we were told that they have no way if getting them out to us as they don't deal with the drivers or delivery staff so they would try to get them out buf could not give me a time frame . It is very surprising to me that a company who uses delivery resources do not have a way of getting food to a customer who has orderd it paid for it and yet not received it the child labour on the other end of the phone was more interested in telling me she had just started her shift and would try to see if another company who was coming in our direction MIGHT BE ABLE TO DROP OF THE MISSING ITEMS .. my son who works night shift spends a fortune most weeks buying food but after this I think not _ useless store useless staff and useless company the Colonel would turn in his grave

Kfc is honestly in my opinion so underrated. I personally love all the choices that the restraunt gives you and the food has so much flavor included in it. I sometimes go with my family there, and sometimes by myself, its one of my favorite places to go out and eat.

25 Minutes wait for a Bucket of chicken, 9 drumsticks, not sure what the other bits were, all under cooked, live to far to take back, chips and gravy were ok. TOTAL RIPOFF,

Worst experience I have had at a kfc waited 20 minutes to be served with raw chicken. Disgraceful will not be back.

The absolute pits. Delivery always give you nothing but dry breast and battered rib cage on the original recipe. I even asked SPECIFICALLY for thigh and drumstick this evening and got nothing but dry breast and rib cage pieces AGAIN. Oh yeah: and I paid for 5 pieces and received 4 pieces. Rang the restaurant for help and the guy just verbally farted then offered sweet FA. What an absolute con job. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID

Curry was not mild like it normally is burnt my mouth wont order it again

Food lovely, nicely cooked, but would like to see an option to choose a different nann bread on the meals for 1-2, even if it’s a 50p extra charge.

Vegetable sagwala was amazing, the best curry I've had in a very long time. The rest if the order was prepared beautifully too. Highly recommend to anyone

Very salty chicken fillets, soo salty struggled to eat. A real disappointment for a normally nice lunch. Please reduce the added salt and return to your previous awesomeness

Ordered at 18:15, granted I knew there was a long wait with an estimated delivery time of 19:20- 19:40 which was fine but the website updated at 19:35 saying it was on its way and didnt receive my food until 20:15 after ringing the restaurant, so I waited almost 2 hours for my food, might as well have gone somewhere else.

Had to wait 30 minutes for my delivery the food was good but just a little cold

We waited an hour over expected delivery time for our food. The food was lovely once it came but I had to ring to check where it was. It would have been fine If they had communicated with us a lot a later delivery.

This is the third time I’ve been to this KFC; I keep giving them more chances thinking the last was just a fluke. Every time I’ve gone, I’ve not received my entire order, waited 20 mins for “fast food” and this last time they just forgot my order completely, even though we were sitting in. If you can go to the Newcastle one, the service is 100 times better.

The Tandoori chicken is definitely worth it.

Every time I've been there's been something wrong there the other day there was no large cups so if you want a large drink they have to give you 3 small cups like how hard is it to have cups in stock for a restaurant like that, every single time I go I'm hit with at least 30 mins wait in the drive thru like how does it take so long to take and order and make it,McDonald's can manage it so why can't you. the staff are utterly bone idle and seem to spend more time talking to each other and have no enthusiasm towards there jobs what so ever I went today and sat in the drive thru for 50 minutes to get a cold meal and half a cup of watery tango. Not good enough completely let the company down this place. disappointed is an understatement. Sort it out.

Just made a big order and more than half of the food was missing. No drinks whatsoever, I don’t know why I bother as there is always something missing. Basically how hard is it to check an order is fully fulfilled before sending out for delivery. Luckily the kids got fed but us adults will be having freezer food.

Just visited KFC at 9.45 pm. Had three pieces of chicken and small fries. The chicken had obviously been reheated because the coating was like concrete and extremely dark in colour. The chips were the drags left over from the frying process. There was only about seven the sort of bits you generally leave in the chip pan. That meal was disgraceful. I ate one piece of chicken but could not eat the other two pieces that were inedible. I will be complaining to the company head office.

Always really nice food, quick delivery and very reasonable prices, good portion sizes, we arnt big eaters so we usually have enough left for the next day. Would recommend highly

Delivery was very fast. Which is good. My issue is that I don’t even know if chicken from my curry spend an hour in balti sauce. Just because it was bland, with no flavour. I love curry because of the amazing sauce and red chicken from all the spices. Unfortunately here all that was missing. And I couldn’t sleep last night because I was dying from thirst. So thank you but I’m not going to order again

As a visitor to Carlise the Just Eat site was helpful in locating a good takeaway - Carlisle Express was a brilliant choice as the food was piping hot, the standard was exceptional and the flavours subtle. A great meal.

Salad was scraps. Chicken tikka wasn’t tikka.

I ordered £44 worth of food and drinks to be delivered on Friday evening, on ordering the time given for delivery was 18. 05. Surprisingly the food arrived on time, delivered by Uber Eats. The downside was that thd food that was delivered was like warm to say the least, the chips were stone cold and then I realised that there were items missing from the order. When you pay that much, you would expect to get everything you ordered and for it to be hot. The food was just wrapped in paper carrier bags, I thought Uber were supposed to be a decent company and at least use thermal food carriers to keep it hot. Never again will I be spending that amount if money with them, or any amount to be honest. Very poor quality from both KFC & Uber Eats.

Yet again terrible food from this restaurant, cold, still hard chips that look like they've been fried in cold fat.. No fork or napkins so eating coleslaw impossible.. This isnt the first time either, not good enough KFC shop elsewhere..

Naans were soggy, popadoms weren’t fresh they had gone soft. The curry itself wasn’t great either there was a aftertaste of washing up liquid. Used to rate this place highly but i was either unlucky or it’s gone to the dogs.

Very late and when I rang up it was already 30 min late , they said be 20- 25 min at most but it was over 30 min after I rang them so well over a hour over expected time , but I will say food was lovely.

Chicken was slimey and rubber taste like cooked to fast ... never again And I said to the driver give me £3 out of £20 the meal was £15.50 and he said I’ve only got £2 🙈 so got himself a nice tip too !

Mixed starter was stone cold. Chips were the worst I have ever had. I called up about this and was told at least 20 minutes for fresh, I asked for a refund on the two portions and told to speak to just eat. You have just lost a regular customer

Used Uber eats to get delivery. Arrived within time stated but no fries and no popcorn chicken. Phoned the store to be told you have to go through Uber eats as there were now no delivery drivers available. Tried to do through the app phone...

First time ordered and it was beautiful, Got set meal for 2 people and wow!! Talk about pleantyful, Very much enjoyed our meal, and very stuffed Thank you for a beautiful meal

Food was generally delicious and would use them again, but nan breads were disappointing especially the peshwari nan, and chicken pakora were dry. Very enjoyable meal other than those tho.

Chips were greasy, shrivelled and burnt, Inside of naan bread slimy, mushroom rice was decent.

Not sure what they brought me but I've had plenty of Baltis in the past. That wasn't ever a Balti! Few bits of lamb in a soup of sweet yellow sauce, no veg or nothing? Either the wrong order or bad recipe, neither paints a good picture of this takeaway for me. Rice was nice enough, keema naan was okay but didn't seem like keema, supposed to be minced not slices. I couldn't eat the sweet soupy curry they gave us...

Ordered chicken wraps with garlic sauce, came soaking & soggy, wraps just disintegrated, chicken was burnt and dry, and lettuce was brown, garlic bread with cheese had never seen cheese in its life, drier than my ex’s sense of humour.
