First class food. Just what was needed to start my day. Lovely friendly staff too. I would definitely recommend this café to sit in or take out

Totally bizarre experience with cafe central today, ordered on uber eats as I have done a few times before with no issues, an hour and a half goes by still no sign of the food so I call to find out if its on its way, where I'm greeted by a lady ranting about not being able to find my address which is odd because to be extra helpful to delivery drivers I add additional info that we are in a new build estate and where its located. Its also very easy to find on satnav. Apparently they only had my door number and postcode sent through but no street name....in that case any driver could do a quick Google of door number and postcode and it tells you exactly which street its located. Apparently they done this but still couldn't figure out where I lived even with the additional information I always leave. The blame was laid at the feet of uber eats which tbh I find questionable after the conversations (ranting in the background) I had on the phone. Asked if I wanted the food redelivered but I had to leave the house as it was now almost 2 hra later and who wants two hour old crusty food redelivered.......no offer of making fresh either just an argument that it wasn't their fault they couldn't work out my address from all the accurate information given. I will say the food is usually nice but the customer service is massively letting them down.

About £7.00 with delivery, soggy rubbish toastie, I know Web pictures can be misleading but come on!

Uber Eats said it would be 5-35mins Delivery. Ordered and it said 1hour to 1.5hour Estimated. Phoned 1.5hours later and said would be no later than 30mins. Phoned 30mins later and said was on its way. 20minutes later was delivered. I Live 10mins away. Total = 2.25hours for food. 1/3 of the time they are even open for a small fry up and some chips.

Waited over an hour from estimated delivery time then received an extremely rude phone call from the cafe. I definitely won’t be ordering from here again, customer service was appalling.

I've just had my first takeaway breakfast and it was delicious. Definitely recommend Cafe Central. 5 🌟 from me xx

Dont order from here. Your food won't show up. Ordered at half 10, hours later and theres no word from them and their phone is switched off.

Delicious preparations, I loved their vegetarian sausages.

Fantastic breakfast always hot and the eggs always have a soft yolk which is a big thing on a breakfast for me the staff are all friendly and always engage in conversation brilliant service thank you

2 hours and still no delivery after ordering, No answer on phone, ended up cancelling order and food turned up after 3 and a bit hours.

Just had our first breakfast baguettes, couldn't complain, arrived at the right temp filled with bacon , sausage, egg and mushrooms.........DELICIOUS

Sorry but nothing to write home about. Baguette fillings are stingy and the bare minimum which doesn't sit well with the rather inflated prices compared to other places. Took ages to deliver but was definitely not worth the wait I'm afraid.

We ordered a vanilla slice and a granola and strawberry breakfast pot, both were fresh and homemade. The soup here is to die for, especially the potato and parsnip one.

Decent Fries and Fantastic ‘Freakshakes’ but I ordered a burger and I got raw meat! So basically, I got food poisoned it was apparently ‘cooked’ (As if!) also, I hope none else gets food poisoned

Ordered Saturday gone, didn't want a big breakfast so i got the small. Now I didn't expect much for a small breakfast but baring in mind it was £5 I did expect more than; one sausage, one egg, one hash brown and one bit of half bread half toast with no butter and a scoop of beans. Could of got a decent breakfast for the same price somewhere else. Never again.

I have to say my fave new place for food. Food is delicious. And the milkshake are brilliant. I could only give 5 stars but would give 10/10

I collected 2 lots of Afternoon Tea for 2 today as gifts and can definitely recommend this. So much so that i have ordered another 2 to collect on Monday 👍🏻 They were lovely and plenty of choice.

Worse food ever had wouldn't let my dog eat there

I have been a few times as it’s very local for us and we like to support small businesses. When it first opened it was great, the last two times we’ve been it’s been really bad. Long waits for simple food, very poor quality and the prices have became ridiculously expensive for a greasy spoon cafe. The cafe is small and the last time we were in a member of staff had their child there who was running around the tables shouting. You’re sitting trying to eat and a ton of people are standing around you waiting for take out or to use the post office, it’s like eating in a goldfish bowl. Then lately they randomly started selling pasta, toilet rolls and hand wash (why would a cafe even do that). To coincide with a mass panic for these items due to the pandemic, they were charging extortionate prices with a mark up of 400%. When this become known to the community they removed their fb page and review function to avoid being challenged for their greed. I would definitely not recommend or return which is a shame.

As the Facebook page for the cafe has miraculously disappeared after everybody pulled you on exploiting people by hiking up the prices of essentials ( why is a cafe selling them to begin with? ) I thought I’d post one on here so people who haven’t seen on Facebook what you have done can read it on here where you can’t take it down. Charging £4.95 for hand wash that you can buy for a pound in most other retailers, £1.90 for a bag of 59p pasta. £5 for cheap loo roll. Exploiting people in a time of crisis. You have lost my custom and I’m sure i will not be the only person to go elsewhere.

We ordered breakfast and a couple of drinks the mocha I had was half full not a hint of chocolate tasted watery and just was horrible, my boyfriends drink wasn’t filled up either was a mango smoothie just tasted like water. My omelette was ok except the random bits of textures and the mushrooms were over cooked, the toast was soggy and tasted just like bread it was vile, my boyfriends breakfast was plain and tasteless, we were extremely unsatisfied with this order and won’t be ordering from here again and wouldn’t recommend to anyone even my worst enemy.

Ordered food for Dinner it turned up for tea...3hrs late and refused a refund

Food was ordered at 12.30 online by a carer for my elderly parents , 14.30 it turned up . My mam told them she didn’t want it anymore as it had been two hours . The driver then contacts the carer telling her he wants paid I’ve had to tell my mam to pay for it as drivers attitude was bad towards carer . So my elderly mother paid for food she no longer needs as she had to make a sandwich due to her blood sugars dropping . Certainly won’t be using this cafe again for delivery

I have used Cafe Central a few times now via their delivery service. All I can say is apart from their salad boxes being the best in town both for taste and value the service is impeccable! I messed up my order and after a quick call not only was it resolved they went the extra mile to sort it for me! Others would have charged regardless! Highly highly recommend!

The food really is lovely albeit perhaps slightly overpriced for what it is, especially when you choose to eat in. However the service here really does let it down long waits to be served, waited nearly 10 minutes for our drinks which could have just been handed to us when we ordered (2 bottles of Pepsi) as it’s an open kitchen you can hear everything... including the girls asking what goes in the breakfast omelette as they don’t know! It clearly states on the menu board what’s in it but mine was served full of beans which I’m not particularly fond of. People came in during our meal and they were certainly served quicker and more efficiently than us so maybe it was just a one off. In my opinion the staff have too much going on to do everything perfectly instead they opt for doing more to an average standard. All in all amazing food but definitely more suites to take away rather than sit in!

It's a nice little cafe. But price board is very misleading. And very over priced for what you get. Cant fault anything else, staff are lovely.. its clean it's nice but prices really let it down

This cafe only opened 4 days ago & is local to me so I thought I would try their all-day breakfast. The staff was friendly & attentive, the food freshly cooked & hot & the breakfast included Cumberland sausage. I will be a regular visitor. IMG_20190220_154602.jpg
