Cafe Central Carlisle in Carlisle

I have order quite a few things, and I always find the food to be nice and hot and very tasty.. The delivery person is always very polite ( one young lady even brought my recycling bags to the front door for me, which I found to be so kind as I have very poor vision ). I'd like to say a great big thank you for the food is excellent..

Ordered a breakfast wrap and cheesy chips. The chips were stale and the cheese tasted like cheap plastic cheese. As for the wrap some bits were hard as rock other bits soft and there was no sauce in it. Certainly won’t be ordering from here again

food was nice as always, however the breakfast box had clearly been sat a long time and arrived stone cold and the toast was rock solid. food arrived without the drinks and for the price paid i expected it to be better.

Was really looking forward to this and was disappointed. Food was delivered late, was cold, especially toast which was freezing probably because it turned up about 2pm when it was meant to arrive between 1.15-1.35. I also put instructions on to say no mushrooms and there were mushrooms included. Small portion for what I paid too. Sad to say wouldn’t recommended and won’t buy from here again, sorry.

Stone cold food that i waited over an hour for never had issues with them before and i order a lot disappointed

estimated delivery time was an hour, arrived within about 20 mins which was a nice surprise, delivery driver not very friendly and just dumped the food outside the door, Food quality was absolutely terrible, the bacon was completely tasteless, didn't even know that was possible, half the breakfast either went to waste or to the dog as none of it tasted right at all. not sure how they're cooking their food but it's not the right way

I ordered one roast chicken and cheese toastie and one cheese and ham toastie and egg mayonnaise on a jacket potato they were all nice even though it’s the first time I’ve ever had a roast chicken and cheese toastie as I’ve had other toastie’s before in the past but I enjoyed the roast chicken and cheese toastie more but overall very happy with my order and also the delivery driver was very nice and friendly and a lovely smile she has so thank you to the delivery driver

food hasn't arrived, have not received it ordered it at 12:52, delivery time has now passed and still nothing

Just over one & half hours wait time for delivery. But food is Delicious 😋 as always. 😊

Toast missing from the breakfast, paid an extra 1.90 for scrambled egg but recieve 2 fork fulls not 190 worth. Not value for money

Lovely little cafe staff are lovely

Ordered at 12:58pm and was due at 2pm however was late by 15 minutes. Baguette was lukewarm but okay, £2 for cheese wasn’t worth it as very little amount of cheese on it. Latte was perfect and hot shame couldn’t have had a flavoured latte though!

food is over an hour late from original time. still waiting for it to be delivered. it says it has been delivered on the app called up the restaurant they said that the food was on the way.

First time ordering from Cafe Central, and it offered very nice food. And I absolutely loved the Mint Freakshake!

Food was delivered 15 minutes late and the baked potato was lukewarm. Just wish it had been hot

Great quality food every time. Plenty to choose from, good value for money. Always plenty of fillings and always very hot and fresh on arrival. Can't recommend highly enough!

The bacon in my Bacon, Brie and Cranberry toastie had too much fat on it making it difficult to eat. I ordered Fries with Gravy to go with it, and, received fries that had both gravy and cheese on top which was not what I wanted.

Food was 32 minutes later than it said it would be. Panini was lukewarm warm and like chewing a salt block (one piece of bacon). Nachos were stale and not edible. Awful experience, can’t even give it too the dog. Don’t intend to order from them again.

Awful, sausages tasted rancid, pretty sure they were off, toast not buttered, don’t get much for the price - won’t be ordering from there again - ever!

Unfortunately the sandwiches seemed to be missing some ingredients (one fewer egg than usual), and a substitute we didn’t ask for (Blood pudding? It was supposed to be a hash brown)

Outer packaging was good when opened everything spilled out. Breakfast options too expensive and less portions. Ordered nuggets didn't look very nice. Best was the burger

We waited an hour and half for our food and it still hasn’t arrived and when we called the restaurant she stated that it was only just going out with the driver now

Delivery driver over charged me as to what it said on the app and the chicken and bacon baguette was over cooked apart from that food was over all delicious

Everything from here is always amazing, but recently tried what i think is a new addon for the baguettes, Scrambled egg...... Sauasage bacon and scrambled egg.... the nciest breakfast ive had in a long time, tried it one day, few days later had to order 3 more

Nearly £15 for 2 breakfast rolls. Took an hour and a half to deliver soggy rolls with overcooked fillings

Myself and my partner have ordered from here a few times and each time they get the order wrong

Rang restaurant for an update after just over an hour, was informed it was out with driver. Had to ring back again 20 minutes later was told same again. 10 mins later it arrived, driver dropped smoothie at front door it was everywhere! Food was cold and needed reheated (but did taste ok) can had got warm as was in hot food bag too long!

Very poor quality of sausage. Would not say one slice of bacon and a sausage is value for money. Unfortunately won’t be back. Spoons has a better quality breakfast

Totally bizarre experience with cafe central today, ordered on uber eats as I have done a few times before with no issues, an hour and a half goes by still no sign of the food so I call to find out if its on its way, where I'm greeted by a lady ranting about not being able to find my address which is odd because to be extra helpful to delivery drivers I add additional info that we are in a new build estate and where its located. Its also very easy to find on satnav. Apparently they only had my door number and postcode sent through but no street name....in that case any driver could do a quick Google of door number and postcode and it tells you exactly which street its located. Apparently they done this but still couldn't figure out where I lived even with the additional information I always leave. The blame was laid at the feet of uber eats which tbh I find questionable after the conversations (ranting in the background) I had on the phone. Asked if I wanted the food redelivered but I had to leave the house as it was now almost 2 hra later and who wants two hour old crusty food redelivered.......no offer of making fresh either just an argument that it wasn't their fault they couldn't work out my address from all the accurate information given. I will say the food is usually nice but the customer service is massively letting them down.

Great service easy to order on line at just eat fantastic food and the prices a reasonable also.

Food was excellent and hot when it arrived. I ordered the Halloumi Burger with extra bacon and it was packed! So tasty. Will definitely order again.

Unfortunately I was missing an egg..I'd paid extra for scrambled but still thought I'd still get a fried egg..the toast wasn't buttered ,very cold and hard once it arrived wasn't edible Unfortunately once I paid service charge , delivery fee it was a very expensive not very nice breakfast.

As always great service great food and great drinks at great prices.

Ordered 2 breakfasts and a pancake 90% of breakfasts was microwaved rubbery and not pleasant to eat, won’t be ordering again, quite disappointed as I’ve eaten from here once before however was in the cafe and this wasn’t the same quality

I ordered a large breakfast and I’ve had a lot better,sausages had a funny taste to them didn’t taste right bacon was overdone for what I prefer, and the tomato was ok but prefer peeled plum tomatoes eggs were ok but the yolk wasn’t runny which is how I prefer them mushrooms were overdone as well hash brown was nice and crispy and toast was ok but there was no butter provided even though it showed it on the app but overall won’t be having it again

Wrong order! Order the breakfast for £10.95 and got a breakfast wrap what a joke

Food cold, missing items, not that tasty

I order a cheese toastie and Avocado and poached egg on Brown toast and neither were toasted. The egg was perfect and the avocado was nice too.

Ordered at around 11.30am and delivery was, at latest, meant to be 1pm. Food arrived 1.30pm and everything was stone cold. Phoned back and they had no idea why it was delivered late or how it was cold but said they’d replace the food, which they did and was nice and hot and arrived at 2.10pm.

The food is always really well prepared. Good quality and relatively hot. All was well wrapped.

Who ever packs the orders is blind & needs their eyes tested festive wrap was missing couldn't be arsed complaining tbh its not the first time you've f*cked an order & i wasn't wasting another hour for it to be delivered food was standard more bland to be fair & the chicken burger isn't worth a few quid never mind 9.50 honestly could of put the thing back in the coop definitely wouldn't order again or even recommend
