chicken was very chewy didn't seem too fresh

Everything great except for the fact we got 5 pieces of chicken, not 6

My food is cold. Chips are freezing may as well be sent to me frozen

Part of my order was missing and they wouldn’t issue a refund because I gave them the code at the door

Delivery took ages. And when I finally got it, they didn’t give me my fries.

Appalling service. I decided to give here another go after poor visits before. Tables and bins inside overflowing I noticed when using toilet facilities, which weren’t the best either. Went round drive thru, service was super slow. Looking in the window where we get food and behind the counter was disgusting. Really poor show Carlisle KFC. I will now travel down to Southwaite services where the KFC is much better

Just beyond shocking. I ordered for my family after a full days drive. We are in a hotel and asked for the order to be left with the all night receptionist and to my horror when the message popped up that food had arrived the kids rushed downstairs and NOTHING THERE. Now apparently we don’t get a refund because this store has « lost’ our order . Beyond disgusting. Do. Waste your time and money

Honestly this place just keeps gettin worse... wrong orders constantly missed food. Staff that are not trained correctly (ie dont know about the rewards prog ie( the guest survey free item etc). So i now decided to take my money elsewhere. KFC, I love your food and most other branches are great no problems but carlisle is not a good advert for the brand

This restaurant was filthy, food left over tables, wet puddles from drinks on the floor & minging toilets, all the while the staff quite happily chatting away, not a care in the world. Not sure what happened to the gravy but it had no taste to it, definitely didn’t taste like it usually does. Had to go back as our drinks order was wrong and they missed an item from one of the orders. For what you get it’s not worth the money. I ordered a rice box, what a rip off and days old lettuce isn’t very appealing. Won’t be rushing back that’s for sure.

Updated for 2025, years later still absolutely slow, could have went to nandos for a similar price got better food and have been done and gone by the time this place actually gives you the food. Ordered at 7.01 received at 7.34. wasn't insanely busy either. Genuinely wonder if it's faster to go to gretna services and order rather than standing around for over half an hour for average food. 2022 The food is good, however what really lets this location down is service, in my last 2 visits I’ve had to wait a combined 40+ minutes for food, the place isn’t exactly swarming either. KFC is supposed to be fast food right?

Absolute trash. Items missed off our order. Food was stone cold because the driver couldn't be arsed to find our house & sat half way up the road for over fifteen minutes without calling.

Appalling service, waited over two hours for our delivery, one part of the order was missing, our delivery had been dropped on route to our address, the food was cold and my chicken piece was all bone.

Food was cold and greasy- due to the temp dropping as delivery was due and every ten mins or so it change the expected time. Cold food and chicken wasn’t crispy

Order it in front of them at the desk they get it right. Order takeaway they get it wrong and the just don't give a damn. ordered a 12 piece boneless, got an 8 piece boneless, right down to the regular popcorn chicken instead of the large. ordered hot wings: missing 4 hot wings. and then to top it off they put the fries at the bottom of the bag and then shoved everything on top of it: conglomerating them into a greasy pile of mess, inedible. for almost 50 pounds this is beyond a joke. and still no response from them

It's really slow and personal and food higine not a best. The staff when arival the workplace walking pass counter and food preparation arival. And smoke outside and walk back the same way 🤔

No eating utensils, how am I supposed to consume the food!?

I just can’t deal with them forgetting the chips. This is the 4th time, and when it’s just chicken. The chips are necessary to counter the richness, and when you order a bucket that comes with 4 packets of them, getting NONE is unacceptable.

As per usual, KFC messes up the order. I ordered takeaway food, it was handed to me on a tray. I ordered a Pepsi Max, they gave me some fruity flavoured thing. I don’t know how KFC consistently gets it wrong. I only wanted a cheap meal. It’s not hard.

ordered food at 19:35. came to 20:40 and it still wasn’t here. got a message he was at my door, was not there as i was stood outside for 40 minutes waiting for him to arrive so i could collect it off of him. he cancelled my order , didn’t even come down the road of my house? got camera footage aswell as this. rang the number i was told to ring , got abuse down the phone and disrespectful behaviour. was telling them to either refund me my money or to send me the order again. they told me i was not allowed to receive a refund EVER or my food was not allowed to be sent out.

Drinks, fries and other items missing

Drinks not cool, fries missing, rushed and unpleasant handoff & food good but lukewarm

Order arrived with no drink, was told it had nothing to do with the driver.

Drive through, on arrival was told to wait via intercom. Then managed to order. Charged £36 given drinks and asked to park in grill bay to wait for food. 25 minutes later I had to go in and ask where it was. No appology, nothing. When they finally brought our food out it was shuvved through the window. Absolute disgrace ! Customer service is appauling. Will never venture there again.

The 2nd time I ordered with KFC, they always missed the Beans. I don't understand why they promote the beans if they don't deliver.

113 minutes from place of order to delivery beyond a joke. Good job I have a powerful microwave and airfryer as it food was cold. The orginal delivery time was 30 minutes then kept getting moved back. food was eventually delivered at ten past 9 order was placed at 7.23.Is this acceptable. I could have cooked a roast diner in the time of delivery and eaten it. Finally to top off this disappointing treat there was a tin of pepsi max missing.

No popcorn chicken, all other food cold except beans which were warm but not hot. Burger disassembled in delivery bag and chips all over bottom of bag.

Ordered an 8pc dipping boneless feast and they only delivered the chips, beans and pop. They missed off all of the chicken and when I called the restaurant they just said there wasn’t anything they can do and that I needed to ask for a refund off just eat. Terrible customer service.

Ordered a boneless feast which was missing the drink. Driver came back with it. Ordered cookies for 6.99 never got them. Second time I've ordered from here and the orders been incomplete.

Visited this restaurant (Carlisle) using the drive thru ordering a 12pc family bucket with beans and gravy as sides on the 6/01/25around 12:30. We waited over 15 mins for our order and drove 6 minutes home on arrival beans gravy stone cold, chicken fillets warm popcorn chicken hot chilli bites lukewarm, chips were again lukewarm and dark brown ( usually a sign that the oil hasn’t been changed in ages. Over all a waste of £28.99. I would never return to this place staffed by young people with no sense of customer service

I read the feedback on here and I thought the customers may have been a little harsh on them But I couldn’t believe how slow they were this must have been the slowest fast food place I have ever been too unbelievable There was around 5 o 6 staff behind the counter mopping the floor and cleaning around the floor I thought it must be closing and they were looking for a quick getaway but it was only 19:50 It took nearly 20 minutes to get our Bargain Bucket too give them there due it was hot so I don’t know if they were just cooking on demand I don’t like giving bad feedback to be honest

What is the point of adding notes if you don't read them. Requested food to come without items due to allergy but came anyway so couldnt eat it.

Place had people in it but practically empty and they were taking ages just to call out our number. Probably 10 minutes in between every number. Obviously young people working who take their time preparing everything and don’t care about everyone else.

Craving a KFC, said it opened at 11. Drove across town, closed! Asked the guy emptying the bins what time they open, he said "about 15 or 20 mins". This isn't a local coffee shop, it's KFC, if it says it opens at 11 it should open at 11. Anyway I tried my first McCrispy today, would recommend
