The best restaurants serving Default food in Dunston Hill and Whickham East Gateshead North East

went there one night and them dont accept card and i had no cash on me and the cash point at shop had no money was out of order so them lost out on a sale and went to another food take away . you need to purchase a card machine take payments as not every one carries cash on them these days

Food ok etc but dont order online at your table otherwise you dont get your samp on the app.Which means you then dont qualify for money off or freebees.

Visited here with a friend for lunch, Pub was quiet but very welcoming , the assistant mamager Joanne couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome, we asked a few questions about the food items which she was able to call down Charlie the lovely chef who was very knowledgeable and eventually cooked and presented our food lovely . We had chicken schwarma which was really tasty and presented well, salt and chilli chicken with a katsu curry sauce which had so much flavour and colour, the food was got and served within 15 mins , we received a check back and a bit chat with Joanne who was leady offering us more drinks and recommending dessert to get us thinking ahead , we ended up having the lava cookie and jam rolly polly, again, really tasty and overall great value . Can't wait to go back for the service and the great value food, keep up the good work team bay horse . Ash xx

Its cheap...I give you that. The place is very busy - staff seems all a bit overun with work...plates sometimes left on tables etc...we were seated quickly...all a bit rushed..no menus for a little bit..menus bit confusing..specials are burgers which is odd given its an Italian...don't have a burger..turns out they are not special and onion rings and fries were large in volume but tasteless...pasta was better (but even then is not special)..but portion sizes are too big..lots of tables taking home boxes .. need to focus on taste...

Come here quite a bit but recently drink quality has declined. Food used to ok but other half got a double American burger. When asked how it was he's said rubbish,I have had better from here! Barely any chips as well. Not only have the food prices gone up the quality has declined faster.

Ordered from here this evening for the first time in a while. The food was good albeit a bit late but it’s a Saturday night so to be expected. I had the Sui mai dim sum and chicken & king prawn balls with fried rice. Dim sum were spot on, chicken balls were reallyyy nice as was the fried rice & sauce. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend are the king prawn balls, they were dry as anything and not pleasant. This place does also still offer free prawn crackers unlike a lot of Chinese takeaways around here which is always appreciated. Would deffo recommend just not the prawn balls as they were tonight

Called in for a drink, to be told our drinks would be served in takeaway cups. This wasn’t a problem for us, however, the tea was very weak ( my husband usually likes to let his tea brew in the teapot for several minutes) I understand electrical failures cannot be predicted, but in future it may be a good idea to leave the teabag in the cup to brew. The oat latte was fine.

Absolutely five star! This is my second visit here and the food is absolutely amazing- as are the staff😊Good variety and served piping hot!
