The best Indian takeaway for flavour and value. I only order vegetarian food so I can’t comment on the meat dishes but the vegetarian ones are lovely.

Firstly, the food was delivered on time, tasty and excellent quality. A small issue was resolved with a phone call and we will definitely order again.

Food was absolutely beautiful best Indians I’ve had! Will defo go back! Chicken was lovely and tender, got the chicken madras and a plain curry, both delicious, naan bread was also great not over cooked and chewy like most places! 100% recommend

No yogurt mint sauce or salad with tandoori main course.

Their Madras is absolutely phenomenal. If used properly it could probably stop wars and bring about world peace.

food was nearly warm by time I got it. Got message saying was on way at 8. 05 arrived 55 minutes later. Ordered food 6. 38. Not happy. Charge enough for delivery.

Was charged for onion salad pickles and extra sauce but did not receive them order was 20 minuets late even though there was 4 hours notice on what time I wanted it delivered which resulted in me not being able to enjoy and finish my meal before leaving for a 12 hour night shift very dissatisfied

Masala pizza arrived at a reasonable time within the estimated delivery, however… the pizza was cold so I had to warm it up in my oven, the crust was as hard as my acrylic toe nails, aftertaste like a sand shoe , was I eating a masala pizza here or a foot pizza? Dry and didn’t taste of masala and barely any chicken … needs looked at and seasoned very bland

Not keen on the burnt poppadoms and the salad was a little sparse to go with the meals

Took nearly 2 hours to arrive. Curry was alright but the pizza was freezing cold and half cooked. Cheese looked and tasted like plastic. Won’t be buying again.

I had the munchbox and the portions were brilliant, much bigger than I expected! It's definitely a 2 person portion size and flavours were really tasty, I'll definitely be choosing whickham as my new Indian. Delivery guy was really nice and friendly which is always a little plus as well.

After working Christmas day, I didn't fancy cooking and whickham tandoori didn't disappoint. Food was ready in perfect time was really nice and good pricing too.

King Prawn Vindaloo was off the scale, certainly did not disappoint. Bhuna Prawn on Puri was perfect for her indoors.

Another great meal, tasty, piping hot and a freshly cooked naan. I order via the app as it’s easy and fast to pay. Nothing is to much trouble. I would definitely recommend.

Ordered garlic bread they sent cheesy garlic bread instead, I phone up as my son doesn’t like cheese that’s why we ordered plain and the man on the phone had no manners at all, very rude and he expected us to keep cheese garlic bread, they then sent correct one but it was over an hour to put there mistake right, never use them again

It is a long long time since we have used this restaurant but liked the sound of some of their dishes so thought would give it a go. Large order placed which has fettled others in the past. Delivered with a friendly smile, great tasting beautiful food. Would definitely use again. :)

Usually my go to Takeaway in Whickham ! Not anymore poor quality soggy and unappetising and misleading in the description ! Absolute rip off ! The man I talked to on the phone at the restaurant is more than willing to lose my custom am more than willing to find a better takeaway that values it’s customers and delivers high quality not here !

Great food, plenty of meat in the biryanis, mint sauce very nice. Chutney sauce a little bit thin. Food arrived on time - good delivery service despite me forgetting to provide telephone number on delivery notes.

Pizza was really nice, dough was fresh. I would highly recommend, full of flavour. One of the best pizzas I've ever had.
