the chips were dry like they had been re fried and the battered sausage was really poor quality with hardly any batter. mushy peas were watery. not the best chippy I'll be honest . they need to work on it for sure.

food was piping hot, delivered quickly and freshly cooked.

£3.70 for that portion of chips pure rip of phones up don't order again that's what am told cause a complain well let me tell u some it mate trade in standards will be getting a phone call and hmrc as the tax on this may as well be 10 times your allowance

How you can charge me £5 for two small ketchup, when the price was £0.60.. and I was a regular client, eating 3-4 times per week.. mister owner, shame on you.. you don’t know how to make a business !! You will not be richer with £5..

Very rude and angry staff, ordered a kebab and chips the chips were cold and kebab was rubbery and the garlic was sour, my order came to 26 pound I rang back up and argued with us on the phone, I handed the food back and tried to tell me it's warm when it wasn't, the delivery driver was very rude, do not order from here avoid any all costs

I got a kebab parmo from here last night the food and staff are great I go most weekends I get pizza from here too I can't fault it

cod was not crispy but soggy, the oil had soaked through all of the papers and the outside delivery bag. Was not to the usual standard saddly went in the bin

I ordered and ate fish and chips. I think the overall taste of the food would be better if it were crunchier. The sanitary conditions of the staff and the store were not bad, but I think it is problematic for the female staff member to touch the food while her fingernails are in good condition.

It was our first time ordering from here and always like to give everywhere a try and everyone a chance… But unfortunately our experience here wasn’t a very nice one and we shan’t be returning… As takeaway enthusiasts we pay great attention to detail, taste and quality… We were sad to find that our £45 order arrived with everything tasting very bland and flavourless, it was evident that this takeaway cares more about taking huge profits from substandard and cheap food and produce which are unsustainably sourced… (Proof is in the lack of Quality and Taste). Kebab Meat - Bland , Cheap and Rubbery Chicken Tikka - Perfect Seasoning but bland, tasteless and cheap. Pizza’s were very tasteless. Kiev didn’t have any garlic butter at all… Bolognaise tasted sour and more like tomato purée overload with a hint of Police Station Microwave Meal Mince… The Ham Special was alright (as in, it was c*cked up, but still again tasted very bland alike everything else… The Garlic Sauce isn’t worth touching, there’s nothing garlic about it, more like slightly herbed mayo than garlic… This isn’t an angry overreaction either, it’s just an honest review (which you can’t write unless you rate 4 stars or more…). All in all, wouldn’t recommend, save yourself the dissatisfaction and disappointment by popping to Magpies Chippy or The Golden Fish Inn…

Staff mumbled and were slow. They seemed to suggest they preferred cash… Chips were stale and dry. Expensive for the quantity and quality. Had to wait a long time on a Friday night with no queue.

Awesome food,awesome peeps... The best chippy in a 20 mile radius.Inknow people from all directions coming to this place,and I must say,it is justified! Their pizzas are beautiful,the kebabs always fresh and tasty,and I could just go on and on about the rest.. All in all,if you want good food on down-to-earth prices,then you want to stop here!

Ordered a shish kebab and got seekh and it was raw in the middle, totally unedible, very disappointed since it was also late

Poor, we ordered 3 x portions fish bites but they didn't have a quantity and they were all random sizes sent in the same container. We order 1 x med 1 x large chips and it was more like a small and a med.Curry flavourless peas watery.

Excellent mince pies and the scampi was exceptionally tasty. The food was hot & thoroughly enjoyed. If I could give 10 Stars i would have no second thoughts about doing so@p

Bought two kebab wraps with salad and a margarita pizza which came to £18 and it by far the worst takeaway iv ever had the wraps were filled with salad hardly no kebab and taste horrendous and to top the pizza tasted minging alls you could taste was a strong tomotoe puree sauces were a no go please don't waste your money much nicer takeaways for this price around

No idea what the food’s like as the delivery driver couldn’t find a very big and well known hotel in Newcastle. Instead he parked up and told me to come and find him. Waiting for a refund from Just Eat.

Everything was absolutely unreal, chips were proper chippy chips which tasted like they used to! Chicken tikka unreal, pizza unreal, salad fresh as anything…If this was a bird it would be Kelly Brooke. 10/10 guys

Ordered Our food over phone. We were told it would be 15mins. Still had to wait. Only live 5mins walk I used this this shop for my clients. (I'm a carer) used to complain for them. Thought it had changed after better word of mouth. Collected our order Chips dry as sticks Batter burnt. Dry overcooked fish.

We got a large kebab, the meat wasn’t to bad a few rubbery bits. It was the 12 chips (literally) that was a bit of a let down, expect more then that!

I ordered separate fish and a small chips as these were for 2 different people the fish and chips came rammed in a box together when i tried to rescue the fish it broke into pieces so the person who only want chips could not have them, Order shish kebab the order page says with salad and dip and got no salad just more chips rammed in tin foil with the shish and naan bread. I was very disappointment when i rang them to say the order was wrong the man just said are the next time you order i give you something free he never offered to sort it out for us last night i ordered from some where else and they got my order correct. I WILL NOT BE USING THESE AGAIN.
