Nice pub, always warm welcome from landlady, nice decor very clean & nice toilets.

Often pop in for a pint after work on a Friday. They have Gamma Ray and Neck Oil from Beavertown, and Shipyard, as well as all the usual beers etc. Always friendly.

Great nite, what I can remember

This is a great pub! There is a very good selection of drinks and a welcoming atmosphere, plenty of space and seats, with an open area and some comfy booths. It's a must-visit if you're heading to Low Fell.

Nice 'Community' High St. Pub on Durham Rd. called in for a quick pre match pint, Sadly, it was all Fizz, lots of it too, so if you like techno-beer you'll probably love this place..

Really pleased with our visit to the Gateshead Arms. Bar was nice and warm, good atmosphere and a great choice of drinks at a very reasonable price. Well done!

Absolutely love the feel, been a while since I've been in but sometimes change is better, can't wait to go back and experience the rum shack, high recommend for midweek drinks and especially the Tuesday for quiz night, it is literally next level!

Went there to watch FA Cup Final.. Quality for 120 mins then when it got to penalities, the sound was turned off. When I asked why, bar tender said the landlady said she wanted to happen. What's the point of showing over 2 hours of a sport then cut the crucial last 10 mins off, when people have paid to drink and enjoy themselves there watching sport.. Off to another pub for footy watching in future!!!

Sorry I work for a living cannot afford to drink it this pub £3 more in here than the same drinks elsewhere on low fell £9.20 for 2 pints total rip off

We recently had my father's after-funeral reception here and every effort was made to make the day special. The manager arranged for a photograph slide show of pictures of our Dad to be shown on a TV in the area where we were sitting. Food was excellent, all of the staff were helpful and sympathetic. All of the efforts the staff went to were greatly appreciated by our family. Thank you.

Spot on. We didn't book so the outside area was full but managed a drink indoors. Decent selection and staff with table service were spot on.

Really good pub and the roof garden is fantastic like being at the tropical resort ..especially when its warm and sunny and staff provide a good table service.

Opened at 3pm. You go in stand and sign in. You sit at a table. Job done. Beer has gone up which is expected. The tables, the toilets and bar are clean. The outside area is also clean. Comfortable place but I was there in the afternoon. Hand sanitizer plenty.

It's ok for a meeting place or a 1 off drink but couldn't stay all night as no much atmosphere!

Don't like it anymore used to love the place not now the staff were not helpful at all asked for the postcode for a taxi they said they didn't know

Just popped in whilst waiting for the bus, it has changed quite a bit since last time I was in, it used to be lively and jumping but very quiet last night, although the music was decent and the decor is good and prices for drinks for being on the Fell was very reasonable so will definitely be back

Very good service from bar staff. Excellent pint of Coors Light £3.20 a pint also some nibbles on the bar including pork pie sausage rolls and crisps. Toilets are immaculate. Shame about the football. But plenty of screens to watch the game.

Popped in for a coffee to this place while waiting for a bus to my hotel. It was very handy as the bus stop was right outside the door and the staff member working was very friendly and professional all at the same time. Will call back on my next visit.

Friends welcoming staff, some comfy booth type seating with TV's, 241 on Cocktails before 8pm week days, maybe not Friday 🤔 good beer, easy viewing of Skysports from anywhere in Bar, beer garden, I use the word "Garden" loosely 😜. Quiz night Tuesday, 9pm, it's a canny one as well, lots of prizes, Wine and Cash😁 well that's it.

Bang average pub. Soulless, no real beer. Pretty much standard for Low Fell but it's not even cheap!
