Lovely meal over the weekend, delivered quickly and piping hot, great quality food very impressed.

Got a takeaway from this restaurant and it was absolutely amazing food is unreal. Definitely my place for Chinese food now.

Ordered the munchie box for a takeout as was craving a Chinese and have heard a lot about this place it arrived quickly and it did keep up to the name it was the perfect size and was delicious a solid 10/10 would highly recommend by far the best Chinese I have ordered in a long while

Basicailly stay away .its that bad complained and as being a chef and chinese being my fav to be told thats how we do it and dont know what over takeaways do it .weird .salt and chilli wow no salt no chilli but thats how they do it.£4.60 for chips that i know cost less for a full frozen bag if they dont think that ive a contact if they want it and will get intouch with gr if they want ? Its a kitchen fu☆☆ing nightmare and thats being nice

Best Chinese in the area. I don’t usually leave reviews but the foods absolutely unreal. The people are lovely too so if you want a cheeky Chinese for tea this is the place mate. Go grab yourself a munchie box

Used to love getting food from here and delivery woman was always lovely but they've ramped their prices up more than any other business - 9.50 for 2 spring rolls, 9.40 for seaweed?! This is just profiteering.

Nice food! It’s really authentic, it’s worth to try out. I got the food for my family, they arrived on time, I am really appreciate that didn’t let my kids starving. I will definitely order again next time.

Sumptuous Awesome wings and Well cooked Salt and Pepper chips

Overpriced , disgusting food. Had salt pepper chips , salt pepper chicken curry and various other meals . I don't mind paying for quality food but this place is a complete rip off ! Salt pepper was sweet like had sugar in it, was fried to a point whereas the chicken was bone dry the oil it's been cooked in was stale tastes awful obviously not been changed for a long time. Curry sauce was pale in colour and had foam floating on top which is very off-putting never tasted awful . Reading review's of this place makes me suspect foul play not even possible for this place to be rated this high .

In Gateshead tonight on business. Fancied a Chinese Takeaway and found this place on Google maps. I chose wisely. The Singapore chow mein with curried chips were amazing and there was masses of it. Well done and thank you. Mark Houghton

Couldn't believe the size of the portions! Absolutely enormous.. but not just large amounts of food. The food quality is amazing too. One of the best Chinese I've had in the last 2-3 years. Would highly recommend.

For mediocre food the prices are utterly ridiculous. So many places in the similar area that is offering better quality food at almost half the price what these are charging.

Very good food. Visiting the area and ordered a delivery. I would advise anyone ordering for the first time, pick your normal order, then cut the order in half. Massive amounts of food. Too much to eat, but still quality. Definitely worth a go.

Very good Chinese. Some of the portions ie noodles were enormous, twice the size of our local so don't over order!

Good food and lots of it. Just a little disappointed that you no freebies when spending over £30 on a takeaway when usually a free bag of prawn crackers or spring rolls are thrown in. Other than that it was really nice 😊

The prawn crackers had a black hair in them, that i pulled out of my throat… The salt& peppered chilli chicken was way over cooked, to the point it had no taste. I posted a review which never got published on the just eat review section.. Absolute corruption & a rip off.

I'm looking for the best satay sauce close to me although it was ok it came close, the meal was lovely the meat was tender and veg and noodles were cooked well.

Ordered a munchie box. Food was awful, overcooked dried out old rice, burnt scrag end chips and just lashings of salt and pepper making the food inedible. Chicken pieces were dried had pieces of batter with no chicken in them. Food went in the bin sadly.

One of the best takeaways by far! A great selection of authentic Chinese cuisines to choose from, cooked to perfection, and good service too! Highly recommend!

New family run business, food is great and it’s the same as Chinatown restaurant quality food. Been there previously and it was standard. Customer service was crap. Had to give it a try again after a year as I heard from people saying there’s been improvements lately. I must say customer service is fantastic. Had it picked up on Friday in 30mins and there was a bit of a wait but worth the wait. It’s a must try!

I am very surprised to read the negative reviews from other people as the meal delivered to us was superb. We ordered via Uber Eats and it came quickly and was hot. We had Foo Yung, chicken & mushrooms, satay ribs, house special rice, chips, chop suey rolls. It all tasted good and we have no complaints at all? This said, they do say the measure of any business is how they handle complaints and, reading other reviews, this appears to be an issue.

I ordered a takeaway and it got cancelled due to weather conditions FAIR ENOUGH. I rang and questioned when my refund would get sorted out & response was “I am chasing this up for you I have your order number here” I was thinking great thank you! Then to be passed onto the manager who then told me they can not help anymore and they can’t even give me an order number so I ask how to get in contact with Uber eats as I’ve been trying for a few days now. The way the MANAGER spoke to me was absolutely horrendous, he started being nasty and cocky by the tone of his voice and actually spelling out google.com to me to put UBER EATS INTO IT! I told him he was being very rude & after a few more minutes of being nasty to me he put the phone down on me. What an absolute joke. Absolute shambles.

Awful and expensive. My duck in oyster sauce mainly consisted of onions. It was more like French onion soup! Never again would I use this takeaway. Go somewhere else and save your money !

Disgusting food, disgusting customer service.

!!! ABSOLUTLEY DISGUSTING DO NOT BUY!!! Very rude, got our order wrong and refused to do anything about it... Said to talk to deliveroo? Aside from that we ordered two 8"inch box meals and ice cream.. It costed £48! And it was RANK, cold, greasy and way to much salt! I had two or three peices of chicken and both me and my partner feel queezy, STAY AWAY would not recommend at all.

Cold, overcooked, dry, mushy, bland and tasteless. I was gurning from the amount of salt on the munchie box and had to down 4 pints of Robinsons afterwards. If the curry sauce was fed to me blindfolded I probably wouldn't be able to guess what it was, otherwise I would have used it to try and fix my overdone dry mushy tasteless block of chow mein. I'd usually eat anything put in front of me but for possibly the first time in my life I threw food in the bin! There's a reason this has so many one star reviews, I hope they take them on board and sort it out. What hope have they got if they can't even get plain curry sauce right?!

No pida comida de Double Dragon. 1. La comida no tiene sabor. El peor chow mein de pollo. El pollo estaba seco y tenía muy poco sabor. 2. Langostino con miel y guindilla (suena sabroso) muy grasoso y aceitoso. Demasiada miel. Nada más en la caja. Cuesta casi 10. 3. Las patatas fritas no tienen sabor. Incluso las galletas de gambas gratis estaban aceitosas. Ni siquiera podía comerlos.Llamé para quejarme y hablé con Anita (dijo que era la gerente) y le pedí un reembolso. Ella no pudo hacer nada al respecto, dijo. Explicó que están muy ocupados este fin de semana ya que todos han cobrado. No estoy seguro de qué tiene que ver esto con que me queje. Ella ofreció 10 de descuento en mi próximo pedido de comida. Ni siquiera acreditaría el valor total de la comida. Pésimo servicio.Ella se ofreció a enviarme más comida. No podría haber querido lo mismo. Así que pedí más patatas fritas (para ver si eran mejores) y unos rollitos de primavera. No han sido entregados. ¡Así que estoy escribiendo esta reseña!No le daría estrellas, ¡pero lo más bajo que puedes dar es una!¡EVITE, EVITE! ! Tiene estrellas bajas por una razón.

Como todos los demás aquí, tengo la peor actitud de quienquiera que sea este hombre discutidor. Cuando se le preguntó sobre un código de descuento que no se aplicaba, llamé 30 segundos después para que me dijeran que era demasiado tarde porque la comida ya estaba hecha. Eso sí, después de comerlo, puedo creer que ese es el tiempo de preparación. No volveré.

Looking at other reviews, its clear theres a very angry man who either works here or owns the place. Rang up asking about a discount code I had which didnt go through. The man who I spoke to started arguing with me. Also the food was ok at a stretch. Wont return.

I put the address in wrong at first and then rang up to change it as soon as I realised. The restaurant said that the driver had got to the other destination already and asked whether I'd pay for the extra fuel for the travel which I was fine with. I waited 30mins k owing how far away the destination was then I got a message saying he was on his way just after I was about to call. So I called them back asking how he could have only left now when he said he was coming here straight from Blaydon. The attitude from the man over the phone was absolutely disgusting. He said "well we have 6 drivers out so I'm not going to know where he's going and when am I?" And the cheek to talk too me like that when the order is already late when at first it was my fault but then it was out of my hands. So they had a sti king attitude on the phone and I said "why am I paying for the extra delivery when he clearly isn't coming from the first destination as I know how long it takes to get there. You should have told me how many people he was delivering too before delivering too me." And he disgustingly said "well I can't help what the driver says" so I hung up determined to talk too the delivery driver. The delivery driver turned up apologised and said "ill show you where I've been and I never even got to Blaydon I was in Durham" and he showed me the receipt. SO THE FACT I WAS CHARGED FOR THE EXTRA DELIVERY OR I WOULDNT GET MY FOOD AND THEY LIED ABOUT WHERE HE SAID HE WAS. I WILL NEVER BE ORDERING FROM THERE AGAIN AND I ADVISE WHOEVER I SPOKE TO ON THE PHONE BE SACKED. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH THE BEHAVIOUR AND I WILL BE GOING INTO THE SHOP AND SPEAK TO HIM HOW HE SPOKE TO ME AND MAKE SURE HE IS SACKED.

Al principio puse mal la dirección y luego llamé para cambiarla tan pronto como me di cuenta. El restaurante dijo que el conductor ya había llegado al otro destino y me preguntó si pagaría por el combustible adicional para el viaje, que estaba bien. Esperé 30 minutos sabiendo lo lejos que estaba el destino y luego recibí un mensaje que decía que estaba en camino justo después de que yo estaba a punto de llamar. Así que los llamé y les pregunté cómo podía haberse ido ahora cuando dijo que vendría aquí directamente desde Blaydon. La actitud del hombre por teléfono fue absolutamente repugnante. Dijo "bueno, tenemos 6 pilotos fuera, así que no voy a saber a dónde va y cuándo voy a estar". Y el descaro de hablarme así también cuando la orden ya es tarde cuando al principio fue mi culpa pero luego estaba fuera de mis manos. Not enough food for the price it just stretched to 3 plates, very expensive and chips were awful they were hard looked like they had been heated up very disappointing wont be ordering again my first order aswell and it will be the last

Conseguí unos langostinos para llevar en salsa picante, y fideos, nunca más salsa como el agua Los langostinos eran de hecho langostinos muy pequeños no mucho más grandes que un camarón. lleno de cebollas y pimientos, llamé para quejarse y el gerente fue muy grosero y dijo que si no te gusta, compra en otro lugar, no malgastes tu dinero.

Delivery took 2 hours, rang up and man who answered had a stinking attitude. Said well what do you want me to do about it. It was cold and we threw in the bin. Disgusting and will NEVER use again. Will not allow me to give no stars or minus figures.

Most bland, tasteless chinese i have ever tasted. Curry sauce was like dirty tap water running around the plate, chips like cardboard. Would never spend a penny hear again, the lot went in the bin after a few mouth fulls.

Though we would try this takeaway last night and it will be the last time,the hot banquet for one was like something you buy from Iceland,very disappointed and a complete waste of money. Should have gone to sun wah instead.

Just Eat refunded me the money we spent earlier on this evening. To be totally fair, the salt and pepper chicken and chips wasn't great but edible. The crispy shredded beef however was awful and could not be eaten. Beware.

I ordered the munchy box for £14.90 and everything was far too salty, everything was salt and pepper should try and mix it up abit and the food turned up absolutely freezing and I had ordered it as soon as it opened at half 5

I really have never spent 15quid and been that disappointed. I got three prawns in my house special chow mein, the rest consistented of about 3 bits of meat. Yes three would be the magic number. Needless to say for me this is not. Alot of better Chinese's about. Don't waste your cash

Worst chinese takeaway I think I've ever had, tasteless and bland food

Have ordered from here for a long time however my order 2 weeks ago was very bland and dry Nd the duck wasn't even shredded off the bone came whole in the carton .. not sure wether had a different cook but won't be ordering from here anymore

Great food, nice quick service, fresh & very consistent tasty food, value for money one of the best chinese venues about, very suprised as was not expecting much.

The most flavourless Chinese I have ever tasted. Ordered Sweet & Sour Chicken sauce was like red water no taste. Chips had been re-heated & cooked to an inch of there lives, the House Special Fried Rice not very special at all. Chicken Curry poor. The only dish that was to a standard was the portion of soft noodles. Will not be crossing the door again shame really. Trust me I know my food worked in the industry for 34 years.
