It was our second time here. We were very positively impressed during our first visit, so we were keen to come back. Unfortunately, the restaurant has changed a lot. The menu has changed. It is now more limited and the prices have gone up. This was a smart and expensive restaurant before but now it has become prohibitively expensive. The waiters also try and push to add items to the menu, which is not appreciated. The pirozhki are now made using French brioche bread, which I personally don't like and I wouldn't call this pirozhki at all. The worst of all was that almost as soon as we arrived we got a big dog right next to our table. It came as a shock to see an animal allowed in such an expensive restaurant that charges 13.5% on top of the bill for service. I would expect the service to be impeccable for that price and not to be made to sit next to any kind of furry animal. The staff played with the dog touching it with bare hands, it went on the sofa and it tried to climb on the table too. There is a big question mark over hygiene and sense of propriety here. It's of course their choice how they run their business and it is ours whether we come back or not. Unfortunately, after how this restaurant has changed its menu, pricing and taking the hygiene situation into consideration, I can no longer recommend this and I will not be back myself.

Great drinks and fab service from Sophia. The place is very well themed etc and good for casual mid week drinks or a more special weekend evening

Stayed in the new accommodation. Alan was great. Really nice guy. Nowhere else in London you’d get this quality of room and breakfast included for such a great price. Really impressed. We normally stay in the main hotel in Battersea (art’otel) but they stupidly wanted £700 a night for a room.

Southwest Eleven WOW we’ve used this amazing venue twice in the space of nearly 3 months (22 December 22) for my surprise 60th birthday and (15 March 23) for my big sister’s celebration of life funeral reception. This venue was perfect for both events it created such an amazing intimate ambience from the interior with a bar which had interchangeable luminous different coloured lights, a stage area for live music DJ set up or even performances (we had a gospel singer performing at my birthday party) and the sound quality from the venue speakers were superb. There’s also some space to dance on stage or on the floor area if you want to boogie suffice to say our guests utilised these spaces really well practically non-stop dancing all night to the excellent music being played. There are 3 big booths with tables that you can put together or separate to walk in between the gap to get to your seat without disturbing others. Come to think of it it was spacious enough for dancing as l saw many a guests standing up and dancing in the booths. There’s also a back dinning space which is on a platform adding another dimension to the premises we organised this space to maximise the seatings and to comfortably fit in the caterers by pushing the covered pool table against the back wall which we used to store the desserts/salad bowls, plates and utensils. The exterior secret beer garden with fake grassed semi sheltered tables/benches seating smoking area with disabled access has huge glass windows so we could view what’s happening from either outside looking in or inside looking out keeping us closely connected throughout the night. This makes the venue stands out amongst others as this fabulous cosy area meant that none of our guests were loitering outside the very front of the building causing any disturbances to the community making our function truly special and private. On both these dates we were extremely amazed by Dmitri’s warm friendliness, professionalism, he was very accommodating because he allowed us to decorate the venue from the night before in order to help take the stresses out of the funeral day. In fact we found all staff from the Security Guard at the door to the barman were all excellent. My family and l highly recommend Southwest Eleven for all your special occasions if you’re wanting something unique and classy? Well what are waiting for contact Dmitri and book your events today we did twice and we will absolutely 100% book with Southwest Eleven again.

I have since been to the Islington branch and the pizza is great, a different type of pizza than can normally be found but a tasty, crunchy fully tasteful spin on the standard pizza we know. I opted for the Margarita which was full of flavor and also a good portion. The service was great and ambiance perfect. The only negative were the Buffalo wings which weren't fresh and a real disappointment.

I ordered two portions of the golden chicken wings from this restaurant last night on Uber Eats and the chicken was raw, with blood at the bone. I tried to get in touch with the restaurant to get a refund for the inedible chicken but they don't reply. It's a shame, because I ordered from Pho Ta about 4 times in the last week. But never again!

Really good food and a courteous service. I recommend the spicy noodle soup (beef), the pho and the summer rolls. Everything for a reasonable price. Will come again ! :)

As a French person I can assure you this is some of the best pain au chocolat you’ll find in the Uk. Their food is genuinely fresh, their coffee is great, their salads and pasta are devine…If there’s anywhere you should try in Battersea, it’s here.

I don’t like to leave negative reviews, especially when it is clear that an establishment is trying to make an effort to do something good, so I will try to be balanced in my feedback despite the fact that this restaurant really annoyed me. On the plus side, the food is overall well done. The dishes varied from very good (the liver parfait) to good to okay (we didn’t much like the tofu or one of the desserts, but that is probably down to personal taste). There is a focus on organic wines, which is a big plus. The décor is quite nice – simple, modern, clean. On the negative side, some (not all) of the dishes are expensive for what they are (£50 for a large bowl of (very tasty) rice with a couple of sliced scallops on the top); and none of the wines was particularly good value either. We were sitting at a large table as we were a group of 7, with 3 people sitting on a bench against the wall which was at completely the wrong height for the table (my boyfriend is 6ft2 and the table was at chest height). But my biggest gripe of the whole evening was the chef’s response to a simple request to be allowed to take home the remainder of our £50 rice dish which we had been unable to manage to eat. There was much to-ing and fro-ing by our waitress between our table and the head chef (in the open plan kitchen not far from our table) relaying messages of varying pathetic excuses for why our request would not be accommodated (‘we don’t have a container’ (ok, so wrap it in foil); ‘we don’t do take-aways’; ‘we might give it to our dog’… ‘it would be bad for a dog; we don’t believe you have a dog’… etc.etc.), which finally resulted in ‘it’s against our policy’ and an absolute refusal. I consider this level of service and the chef’s bad attitude to be totally unacceptable, especially given the high prices they charge for their food. I have been to far better, more upmarket restaurants than this where such a request would have been treated with good grace and readily accommodated. It left a very bad overall impression, and put rather a downer on my birthday dinner. I certainly won’t be returning.

A true British cafe serving every person food with great service at a fair price. I have only done breakfast here, but there is a collection of char coal grills which I bet are tasty for other day parts. Great sour dough, vegetarian friendly and better than avarage coffee. This place is a refreshing taste of real south London before all the she-she flashy new restaurants opened at Battersea Power Station. This is a proper cafe… or a NYC dinner where all types of people mix for all types of reasons. More than anything the folks who operate it are friendly, hospitable and make great latte’s.
